I miss the old ITM. I get so mad at the industry and metal people for not letting them be what they were. It seemed to me like they felt like they had to be something different than what they had originally put out there. I know they lost some people along the way but it just sucks that they couldn’t evolve into what the core element of what they started as… Maybe I just had too much to drink and I am sad 😔
Probably because it's an absolutely brutal song to sing. Lyrically and Vocally. It's basically a goodbye song to someone she'd been dating for a long time. She could obviously sing it (she's pretty killer live) live, but doesn't out of choice. It's a draining song, both physically and emotionally. Just my two pennies there, though.
