    I'm a tour guide and I can tell you it is depressing having next to no indigenous trees to point out, it's always Pine, Eucalyptus, Bottle Brush and Oak Trees ( 0.5% of South Africa is covered in Indigenous Forest) Thank you, The Nature Conservancy for this video and God speed to all those involved in conservation efforts.

    2 questions wont this increase flooding risk! And do you only cut the pines..leaving them to grow back from the stump?

      Most pine species do not stump sprout.
