  • Use "be supposed to" when someone or a group of people have an expectation of another person. The verb "be" changes according to the subject and the verb tense, either present tense or past tense. The present tense form of "be supposed to" is often used to talk about the future: I'm supposed to meet some friends later today. The situation is in the future, but you use the present tense form to talk about it.

    Hi teacher Paul, your lectures are always influential positively. I am watching your videos since 2003 though. I am learning English as a second language for more two decades; but at one point I still can’t spell words.!
