Hey buddy, I know you haven’t uploaded in a few weeks. Just want you to know I love the way you play. Always exploring all your options with an amazing feel for the most optimal move. Hope you upload again, and if not thanks for sharing all this with us.
I can't stop watching your videos. It's so much better than Phantom and Dylighted - the pacing, explaining your thoughts, it's actually SATISFYING to watch Lovely gameplay.
behavior like this from your opponents puts me off the game in a major way. i love playing it, but idt it's a coincidence that i enjoy playing in closed lobbies with the same people compared to a ladder environment.
Why would you think that? Catan is a game for all ages. You don't have to be an adult to play Catan. Btw there is nothing wrong with not being an adult. All adults were non-adults for 18+ years of their life (the exact number depending on local laws and legislations).
It brothers me that people always come with this argument, when its obvious that most of the toxic people is people that doesn't mature, and most of them are adults.
@@AdminADMIN-j8syou seem to be confused. If I am one of the players, then I am trying to defend myself, not "them". Btw I am not trying to defend anyone. I am just making fun of comments written after 0.85 seconds of thought, resulting on them containing wisdom equal to exactly 0.85 seconds of thought. 🙂
@@JohnSmithEx Right, compared to your comments, which due to your superb intellect, should be pondered over in the generations to come by classrooms. Get over yourself man, you’re not somehow better than these other people. Also is your constant use of the smile emoji supposed to be passive-aggressive? Because it certainly seems like it
That's what you say, and there is absolutely no way for us to assert the truthfulness your statement. You might as well stopped playing 4P ranked Catan simply because losing 75% of your games is bad for your ego. Feel free to admit it, it's bad for my ego too. 🙂On top of that, a large % of the wins can be attributed to lucky rolls or lucky devs. The probability of finishing a game as the well deserved winner, is depressingly small. 🙁
@@JohnSmithEx Its not about winning people play this game cuz they want fun and competiotion but if u think this behaviour is normal u proof my point more Its a family game Dont forget that
@@AdminADMIN-j8s"It's a family game" what are you talking about? A game is a family game only when you play it with the members of your family. When you play it online, against opponents from all over the world that you've never met in person, the "family" classification is out of the window. Btw playing with the family in no way guarantees that the game won't be toxic. Try explaining to your spouse why you blocked her wheat instead of your sister's brick, and let me know how comfortable was your night sleep on the couch. 🙂 As for "it was invented in Germany", it's irrelevant. Chess was invented in India, but Indians have no more influence on the ethics of chess than anyone else. The same applies to Catan.
Same for the most part. Catan fascinates me still as a game, but I rarely play on online platforms anymore because of all the needless toxicity and lack of professionalism in the community generally speaking. It just sort of ruined it for me. But I do like watching matches still for the analysis,
Ha ha! Your opponents were craving for your attention in the chat (starting from 4:35), and you gave them none of it. Like the Chad in the bar, turning his back to the hot cheeks that are magnetized by the only man that ignores them. 😃 Seriously, you should take into consideration what long term effect might have the lack of social interaction in the chat, and the slow play (almost timing out on every turn). Red turned against you at the end of the game, apparently for no reason. Maybe this is the reason. I am just guessing obviously, I am not inside his mind.

You'd think more adults would play Catan, can't say the chat isn't entertaining though.
