My favorite mezzo in the world. I'm 90 years old so I have heard a lot of mezzos. I love her voice, her acting, her work with children, her personality. I wish her continued success and happiness.
Pianist here in Berkeley, CA via NYC and Oberlin Conservatory grad.. Big fan of Joyce D. and the vocal model that we musicians embrace regardless of instrument. She is so exemplary for all of us choosing a life of music, teaching, performing. Brava to Joyce in all her artistic facets.

Joyce is not only a brilliant singer but also a lovely person. I met her in Paris where she sang Rosina in the “Barber of Seville”. It was a horrible production by a horrible stage director but the singers were excellent.
