I was told by more than one outfit that tears on lizard boots cannot really be repaired. You obviously did some patching (?) designed to “blend in”. Is that what you did.. more like a “patch”? I have one boot with a small tear section above the arch, and have been looking for someone to repair for a long time. They also both need to be resoled and new heels..

*To fix those small tears near the toe area, did you use a leather filler paste, to brush over them? I've seen other cobbler channels do this. Then they sand it, to smooth it out. And they'll dye and use polish over the area too. Is that how you fixed the tears? Also great work! The boots are amazing!!*

Bit like an old broom with 2 new handles and 4 new brushes. Its a lovely job but how much did it cost and I don't know how good that upper is as it didn't show anything being done to that. Im all for repairing old stuff but m not sure Im convinced about these boots

How do you know where to nail in the boot so it doesn’t stick out inside? I see these videos as always wonder how. Are they just small enough so they don’t poke through?

*I learned from other cobbler channels like "Trenton and Heath", who said the boot sits on that metal last (shaped like a foot). Then when they hammer in the nail, the end of that nail curls in itself as it hits the metal last. So your feet won't feel the nails. Also there's an insole that goes overtop of that footbed. So even more protection and support for your feet!*
