You can use a rubber band to pull the camera on the slider for much smoother pans. I know this sounds kinda silly and may take practice but this will result in zero jerks and a very very smooth pan as compared to panning with your bare hands :) Nice project man!
Looks very practical. The only thing I would add would be some sort of adjustable height system for the legs as , many times, when you use something like this in an outdoor setting, you place it on something that is not level. Possibly a four inch adjustment on either end ? But, I like it very much. Hopefully can find the wheels. I like the set up for two tripods, first I've seen like that in DIY. You will be a gadget guy for ballywood soon !
Hi I'm new to this channel. Where did you buy the printer and how can I learn to use the fusion application? I want to start printing in 3d. Where should I start my learning?
You can purchase STL files for this project from my website and support my work: nematicslab.com/product/stl-for-camera-slider-v1/
Great video, and going through the process. This is exactly what I was looking for!
Very good video, thank you very much! My only suggestion would be to use nylock nuts to hold the wheels so you don't have to tighten them too much.
