i gave 4 psu interviews, in each and every interview they grilled me for gap years. Be prepared with proper justification. They wont appreciate your gap until you get really good rank than previous attempt. Better to add some skills in between your preparation. There are so many online courses going on. May be i sound too harsh but thats the reality. And never say ,I was teaching somewhere... They are bunch of highly classified professionals, do minute me khol k rkh denge sari kahani. Aur teaching experience ko wo koi justification nhi maante. They want ki tumne skill pe kya kaam kiya. I had work experience of testbook but they sarcastically denied it. So be cautious.
