Doing ok Paula... still missing Ed every single day! Yesterday I could not start the ride-on lawn mower, I had to call my son to come and look at it. Unfortunately the battery died over the winter. My son put a charger on it. This morning after a few tries, it started. Finally got the lawn mowed this morning. Last week, I cut down a tree with my new battery operated chain saw. I just did what Edward would have done to land it where I wanted it. Worked out ok. I had gone out 3 times and lost my confidence,,, but then I asked "Can I do this?" And I felt that Edward said I could, so I did. He could do anything, design anything, build anything, even though he was basically illiterate. Everything was in his head. He was a genius when it came to mechanical, electrical, and carpentry projects. We sure do miss him!

@@tmaffeo So sorry to hear you lost so many loved ones Toni! That is a lot to lose. (My parents lived to 96 and 97.) But.. so sweet, Toni, that you have been together so long. My husband used to say that these days when people get married it's only until the fun stops. I guess when we got married we took it seriously when we said: "through sickness and in health, till death do us part". Ed was a talker, he talked all the time, not necessarily all important; I am not a talker, so I now miss his talking. It's very very quiet in my house now.
Would using a size smaller hook be a problem? The drape? I’d like it a little denser. Big tummy. Thank you so much. I love it. Or I could just tighten up the stitch.
Sure, you could use a smaller hook, as well as a thinner yarn, since the whole design depends on the foundation chain being the width of your shoulders.
I love this…my question is, on that first row of V stitches, if you can only skip one as you get to the middle, would you skip just one on the other side to make it even?

It's the good one
I love this…my question is, on that first row of V stitches, if you can only skip one as you get to the middle, would you skip just one on the other side to make it even?
Yes, you can do that! Perfectly ok.
I just saw your granny square poncho. Would I be able to make it wider and sew it up the same as this one ? I’m a xxl.
Yes, you could add additional rows around... one row makes quite a difference in size.
❤🌹💕
So its nice but having a stitch count is necessary for it to be even on each side...
If you have the same number of stitches on each side of the center cluster, you should be good.
I followed this pattern but I think I used the wrong yarn. It's just a tight triangle and not loose and flowy. Any tips??
