A bit late with a comment but… Thank you for posting this.😊 I “thought” it might be a regional thing since so many others in the comments were also calling it a “PATIO” & NOT a deck. Here in the South we (I) call this a “DECK”, anything above the 1st apartment is a “deck”. A “Patio” as you said “is flush to the ground”. Also it’s made with concrete and not “wood”. I know some apartments that have this are called “Garden Apartments”. Thanks for helping me to know that my mind was correct! 🤣 I’m a very late “baby” of the “Baby Boomer Generation” named “Generation Jones”. The mind starts to “play games & to wander off” at times, sometimes. It’s as if “they” have started changing the words for things & no one thought to tell us about it. 😧 🙃 But Alli did do an AWESOME job!! ✌🏻
Spiders hate the smell of peppermint. You could add some peppermint sachets around the railings or spray daily with a mix of peppermint essential oil mixed with water.
I thought that was mice that didn't like the smell of peppermint. I use spider spray Raid or miss muffet will keep them away for months and the smell is not so strong like it used to be. Miss muffet at home Depot, raid at Walmart.
Wow!! I LOVE your deck! It looks so cozy and inviting! I love the lights and candles at night! AND the most important .... privacy screen!! ;O) Well done!!
...Nice design ideas. ..adding the Umbrella, absolutely needed. 🙂 I use a Product called Terro , these are Granules that you sprinkle around the perimeter of your area ,and I have no spuders, no ants no bugs of any kind.. I pay particular attention to the Area in front of my doers, making sure theres a nice thin line of tbis Product all around that area. Ive used this 4 three Years and use it all around the parameter of my patio as well. Love all the pillows ! ...and that Bouquet on the table... yessss !! It all looks inviting ...nicely done .
Been following you for quite a while now and it’s so cool seeing your channel grow along with your DIY skills and design eye. The patio looks amazing and cosy, you crushed it!🔥
I use peppermint cleaning spray once a week on surfaces that I have seen spiders,or any type of bug and it does work ,plus it smells great! By the way, loving your channel ,love the patio redo,,great job . Looks so relaxing .
Great job Alli…. Love the coastal chic vibe!! Glad you took your time and did a step by step video process. Much more realistic and approachable than all in one video You Tube “magic” we are used to seeing from other creators. Thanks for all of the great ideas!
Get yourself some cup hooks and string the lights along the hooks you can screw them right into your wood and have hooks too hang other items from wind chimes sun catchers and tube lighting ..
Great Job Alli! That is beautiful! You really have an amazing taste level and can execute it on a budget! P.S. Where did you get your sandals--Love them.
Thanks so much!! I couldn't remember where I got the sandals, so I went back and checked! They're from DSW! I've had them since last year and still love them. Here's the link: www.dsw.com/product/journee-collection-kimmie-sandal/454090?activeColor=215
Should the plywood on back of your wall pockets start to deteriorate, there is a very thin commercial type plastic that you could replace with. I've seen it used on linai walls where moisture was a possibility, and also in restaurant dish room areas, Just a thought as it is pretty thin.😊 Great idea!! Looks Great!!
Inspiring. I have a smaller back porch with metal railing and live in a side by side duplex. I need a free-standing privacy divider that i can make myself to be budget friendly, similar to the one you made, so I can paint and screw photos in and plant pots. Any step by step videos on this?
Everyone needs a “ vacation-feel” area at their home. This looks wonderful. Enjoy! Also, maybe you already did this, but another youtuber I watch replaced tiki oil with 90% isopropyl alcohol in their patio torch and it burns cleaner and clearer.😁
So I have a question for you, when you spray paint outside, do you spray paint on your balcony or do you spray paint out on the landing going out your front door? I’m asking because I live in a three-story apartment building and I’m in the third story and I had started to work on DIY projects and I want to start spray painting certain things because it’s just quicker. I did get a spray paint pop-up tent, which I think I’m thinking about using, but I wanted to get your opinion on what you feel is the best way to spray paint something while living in an apartment without getting spray paint everywhere. Thank you so much ahead of time for your help with this and your opinion on this . 😊
I usually just spray paint on my balcony! I definitely recommend the paint tent. I was just saying the other day that I need one (after a little bit of the spray paint got on my patio furniture 😭). I trust it on my balcony the most since I'll leave whatever it is sitting outside to dry. If you use the tent, I just recommend getting something to weight it down from the wind!
Why did you paint your privacy fence white?? If it was the same as the fence it would be somewhat camouflaged….just wondering. Your patio is very nice!
Hello dear friend, you are very good at what you do. I enjoy every single one of your videos. Looking forward to your bad videos, I really need your encouragement3❤❤❤
Your 'Deck' (Decks are raised, while Patios are flush with the ground) looks so inviting. Your ideas are amazing. Enjoy !!

This turned out just beautiful. it's so cozy, especially at night.
Beautiful transformation! It’s very casual but elegant, and so welcoming. You have a great design sense! Love those pillows too!!
Great job on your balcony
This is such a cute makeover! ❤
Use a good old broom. Works better. ❤
Beautiful ❤❤❤. Great job girl
You need drainage holes for the planters. They will get root rot.
Very cute patio! Very inviting
Lovely job on your patio. If you place the herbs outside of the railing you will have more deck space. Keep up the awesome work!

@@ActuallyAlliThank you so much. Absolutely I figured while I am grabbing the spray paint I grab a couple of bricks!!😊👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so very much 🌸🐾
Very nice!
Where did you get the insert for the hurricane globe? It has a wick.
Beautifully done!!❤
Great fantastic job
Nice work
I don’t see the string lights linked. Are they solar or plug in???
Why did you paint your privacy fence white?? If it was the same as the fence it would be somewhat camouflaged….just wondering. Your patio is very nice!
Think i would have hung the planter on the outside of the railing
I definitely thought about it. We get a lot of severe storms where I live, so I was worried that one day I'd come outside and it'd be gone 😅
What happens when it rains?
Use outdoor fabrics so it doesn’t matter if you leave them out.
Hello! what design program did you use to design your patio? :)
