i actually watched the first ep and decided to start the manga since everyone says it's really good and recently i've been more into manga than anime, i've read vol 1 so far and i don't regret it it only gets better
Finished the whole thing after I saw the first trailer, you will not be disappointed. I'm looking forwards to the next episode just to see the looks on people's faces if YNYN.
This series is so damn good I'm glad y'all started it! Also this story does take place during the early edo period. Theres a bunch of fantasy stuff (ninjutsu lol), BUT there are a lot of historical accuracies in just the first episode. (1) The Ryukyu Kingdom, the island they said shinsenkyo was south of, was a real place that is now modern day Okinawa. (2) The shogunate during this period actually employed and had authority over ninja so technically this pardon is legit (3) Sword testors (the ronin woman) were a real title/occupation during this period. It wasn't only for the execution of criminals but there are accounts of sword testing executions on criminals lol
Hey please watch "Heavenly Delusions"(Tengoku Daimakyou) as well if you like mystery or chainsaw man'ish with movie quality you're gonna love this as well
It's great how excited you guys seem for the rest of the series! The manga is finished actually and it's only 127 chapters but the ending, to me, is incredibly satisfying and the story overall is so well-done that I'm hoping the anime will only uplift it even more. This is taking place during the end of the Edo period, somewhere around 1840-1860. For context, this would be right before the Civil War in the US, right after Britain has occupied Hong Kong, and things like photographs and stamps are recent inventions. If you've also seen Demon Slayer, this would be set around 60 years before that story too lol. There's tons of great real historical references in this series throughout, and on top of that I think one of the best cast of characters in recent anime. You're definitely in for a treat with this one!
hey prez so sorry about the whole patreon strike thing , i would suggest you to take a look at what the other reactors like normies are doing , on how they are dealing with uploading without getting strikes , my personal fav is the way acc to lucky is doing this , dont worry you'll get through this

I second this.
Gabimaru doesn’t mind killing at all he rather not kill but if its for his wife he would kill no mercy whatsoever
Yeah, it's not that he's opposed to doing it all together, he'd just rather not kill if doing so isn't entirely necessary.
Will you react to Heavenly Delusion?
This is Fire 🔥
nice
Yes, the manga is complete with 127 chapters IIRC.
