I told myself I wasn’t a full coverage stitcher because I prefer samplers and long dogs and stuff in my home but stitching a full coverage is so much fun and helps tingle my brain. Now I have like 20 of them on the go 😂

Oh my goodness - I cannot believe you mentioned my Flosstube - thank you so much - it's too kind! I am loving the energy and just the fact that the house is full of small children - yes!!! I remember those days so well and got literally zero stitching done - and am now making up for it and doing like a day job lol!! Happy stitching girls!!

GAH!!! The Thea project is so beautiful. I have one of hers that is US monuments, I looked at the instructions and gently folded them back and haven’t looked at it since. 😅😅😅
Also for the full coverage question- I haven’t done one in years, but I always put a piece of quilt batting under my Qsnap clamps. I think that would help protect the threads.

Have you considered scroll rods for the amazing full coverage train? Rods long enough the entire width of the projects fits on it. Compliments to your son, he has amazing taste. Lovely .
you guys are awesome - you never fail to bring a smile to my face :). For the full coverage, you can snap your q-snap over the thread ends - just make sure that you've got them really loose so they don't pull your completed stitches when you snap them in.

My youngest is 16 and has just finished his exams that they sit in Britain. He's been at home now for a week (school doesn't normally finish for summer till the end of july). It's driving me nuts😂😂😂😂. I feel your pain

I actually have a pattern that I'll send a picture to y'all on IG later tonight of a pattern that is specifically made NOT to be straight and it bugs me so much that I'm fixing it, hahahaha! Oh man, I feel so bad for the white FC piece! I dove into FC this past year and I refuse to buy anything with white. Sending you positive stitchy vibes for it!!

Re: the quirky SAL, now I just have to decide if I need to start with one of the patterns of the puppets from Mister Rogers, as they’re arguably more quirky and vintage than the Trolley I already have kitted up to start, lol!
I bought the whole set of Roxy Floss... unbeknownst to me, anything over $800 you will be charged customs... so, maybe you could split the $1500 between the 2 of you to avoid the extra $150+ charges, it you ever decide to... I have to say, there are so many skeins... they are all beautiful... I am not sorry I made that purchase, even if I had to pay the customs charge!

I cut my kit threads and put them in floss-away bags. That way you can save all the extra thread. Happy stitching.

Oh, I also love the idea of blocking toilet sensors for kiddos. My kids got so freaked out by that. But I never thought to put a sticker over them.
It was a tip from another parent! I had a sheet of stickers stuck in every purse/bag/tote 😂 My kid was NOT ok with the auto flush!
