Oh my goodness - I cannot believe you mentioned my Flosstube - thank you so much - it's too kind! I am loving the energy and just the fact that the house is full of small children - yes!!! Oh, I also love the idea of blocking toilet sensors for kiddos. My kids got so freaked out by that. But I never thought to put a sticker over them.
It was a tip from another parent! I had a sheet of stickers stuck in every purse/bag/tote 😂 My kid was NOT ok with the auto flush!
I’ve been enjoying y’all’s videos for a few weeks now. Laughing out loud at times 😂 It’s fun to see such wonderful friendship and bonding over the shared craft. I too want those TZ fairies. I’m going to have to keep my eye out. And YES, I too bought a ton of pearl cotton for my long dog, lol. Live and learn. Happy to say the long dog is now finished. But I thought I was so set with all my bunches of pearl cotton. I was like, why isn’t the thread separating like normal? What is this???

My youngest is 16 and has just finished his exams that they sit in Britain. He's been at home now for a week (school doesn't normally finish for summer till the end of july). It's driving me nuts😂😂😂😂. I feel your pain

Have you considered scroll rods for the amazing full coverage train? Rods long enough the entire width of the projects fits on it. Compliments to your son, he has amazing taste. Lovely .

Also for the full coverage question- I haven’t done one in years, but I always put a piece of quilt batting under my Qsnap clamps. I think that would help protect the threads.

So many great things!! Really want to see that Books and Night come together. On that weird half charted row, can you email or contact the designer someway and ask about it. Surely they don’t want their charts to be that way. Maybe there’s an errata on her website?
you guys are awesome - you never fail to bring a smile to my face :). For the full coverage, you can snap your q-snap over the thread ends - just make sure that you've got them really loose so they don't pull your completed stitches when you snap them in.

Re: the quirky SAL, now I just have to decide if I need to start with one of the patterns of the puppets from Mister Rogers, as they’re arguably more quirky and vintage than the Trolley I already have kitted up to start, lol!

I am so OCD that I just HAVE to make things fit, so I totally get it. I actually have a pattern that I'll send a picture to y'all on IG later tonight of a pattern that is specifically made NOT to be straight and it bugs me so much that I'm fixing it, hahahaha!

Stretcher bars
Forgive my ignorance- the only time I’ve used stretcher bars is to prepare canvas for oil painting! Is it the same process?
