Looking at SMG footage shows me that's not true, you have far greater control over your movements even if the nunchuck is shaped that way. SM3DW feels like you're playing Crash bandicoot which would be fine if this was the 90's.

To get a 100% in that game you have to beat it with every character and every character needs to hit the top of the flag pole. It's pure hell.
I already did it and actually to get 5 stars you dont have to do champions run with everyone though I still did it

Well I'm not talking about the slippery stuff, I mean that you can only really move in about 8 directions.
You could only move in eight main directions in SMG2 becuase of how the nunchuck is shaped.
