Dude, why can't the equipment auto upgrade when I upgrade hero levels, this is a huge part of gameplay and making that a grinding annoyance is soo boring
Here's the thing, the new wall levels take 9M for a single piece. But there are 11 troops that can completely avoid walls, 4 which can shoot over walls. There is a jump and an earthquake spell, 2 heroes which can avoid walls and now this new earthquake gear
I get it, but the same was kind of true at TH15. On my second account I had TH13 walls for the longest time, because I’d always prioritise other stuff.
Yeah walls seems like becoming less and less effective for protection and just being effective to be a challenge to path your army into the base (especially range troops being the harder once to funnel in)
I'm suspicious of the Epic equipment. If they are only available from special events, and much better than regular equipment, there's potential balance issues.
for me, this is just an amazing feature, and something I would rlly like to be added would be for the warden to escencially use different kinds of spell effects (cuz we can see that he can either heal or rage the other troops), by that knowledge, I think it might be very cool and at the same time fun and chaotic (like for example imagine just turn everything invisible or cloned or stuff like that)

I loved having them tank the defending queen , Xbow , monolith, or single target inferno. Now when you Cloak the Queen. these defenses will immediately lock on the healers, resulting in an immediate fail of the Queen Charge! !!
That's correct, you can keep the same old ones. But I will happily be using the earthquake boots and the giant arrow as th13 player to navigate stupid pekkas towards the center of the village:)) I believe these new changes will encourage the players to use ground attacks prominently🤌🤌🤌 no more electro dragons:)
I was actually thinking of this during the th16 videos and the interview with Darron. The earlier townhalls need a major content update as all new content is restricted to the end of the game which is disappointing since only a few players will actually make it that far to see the new content. Having this new addition not only solves this issue but provides a new fun way to make the base feel like yours.

The vampire mustache, rage crystal, and spirit fox on the barbarian king is going to be unstoppable. 4 seconds of rotating invisibility while healing at 300 per hit and he can rage up if DPS gets too high… can’t wait to try it out
I think the coolest part of the healer puppet is that it allows for an entire queen walk to be recalled as once you place it back down you activate the ability.
I’m not sure what you mean, this would still probably give too many healers resulting in diminishing returns, unless you didn’t take all 4 Healers before the Recall but I’m not sure why you wouldn’t. Can you clarify what you mean with this?
@@JudoSloth Seems like it would be a much cheaper way to set a funnel and QW up. You wouldn't need the 5 healers taking up camp space either. Or you could take all five and forgo cocoloons because losing healers matters less when you can just summon more after a few die. I could also see a world where people use apprentice wardens in a QW recall with only one or two healers and the three from ability. I have never been more excited for a Clash update in my life and all the healthy complexity and flexibility added to attacks will give the game a lot more depth and room for creativity. Gonna be a treat to see what the Navi guys will come up with six months down the road.

Great stuff as ever! Will you be doing an upgrade priority guide? I know with most new TH levels it's the usual routine of TH, Lab, CC, Storages, Army Camps etc but this feels very different (and exciting!) e.g. with the Blacksmith. Would love some guidance.
@dearyl1144 by shop u mean like real money? Cuz thats the first actual pay to win mechanic super cell would introduce to clash of clans. Its not obvious. edit: every other payment is payment to progress.
It would've been cool if the default equipment was automatically upgraded whenever we upgrade that specific hero (exactly as it is right now before the update). That way we get to upgrade only the additional equipment that's unlocked from the Blacksmith.
@@atel4946 I dont think so, now the default equipment will be a higher level when the update comes out, but if you upgrade your hero after I dont think the equipement will level up along side it
I think this is really cool but I am worried about the progression grind to get hero equipment up to a higher level. I really hope that levelling up your gear doesn’t take ages and ages. Additionally, I am VERY afraid of having “epic” gear that’s limited. I really hope that isn’t something that’s done because it would mean for the first time that gameplay and ways to play the game would be behind rewards that not everyone will get. Anything limited atm is purely aesthetic, and doesn’t impact your ability to play the game vs anyone else. I hope they keep that in mind
I'd say if they did we would get weaker DPS heroes but still same hp since they MIGHT be given weaker weapons while their current ones are being upgraded by the builders
I hope they make the prep time attacks to 60 secs and you could change your heroes gear just like siege machines before attacking, so you could startegize even further

Yep, it does look like that but you’ve got to think if you were upgrading these from when you were a TH8 you’d make good progress over the years. It’s like other stuff it’s intended to keep you going over time.

This is so sick but i really hope the classic abilities get renamed back to their original names, royal cloak sounds cooler than invisibility vial, and iron fist is cooler than rage vial, etc
This is so awesome, its great to see more than just the newest townhall get new content.These are gonna change the game a lot, and it also adds a lot of new options for them to add cool new gears.
Love the fact and whenever there's new TH update lower level THs also get something new. Either a simple reduction in cost or new buildings and mechanics like this one. I'm already TH15 tho but happy for the lower level players who'd get to try this new thing very early.
Definitely throwing me off trying to learn the new ways to use abilities. Great chance for creativity in attacks though. Hopefully this makes th15-16 along with the defense nerfs a little bit more balanced. Looking forward to maxing all of the new stuff out!
With the epic equipment for events, as long as it doesn’t require money to get I think will be such a good idea. Make everyone play the events to the max to get special equipment can really increase the amount of people coming back and daily play
Or widen the gap between casual and hardcore players even further. for example I didn't even know hero equipment was a thing till yesterday when i saw i had a new building in the shop tab. i took 1 week off because all my builders were busy.

i don't like the concept of equipment in most games but supercell did it very well. it's not complicated and i like that they kinda.. kept the original abilities. for that amazing video im definitely using code judo 😁
One more thing make you grind and get frustrated for... as if there's not enough of those already. I hope there is a discount on the DE or Elixir on the same proportion those orbs cost when you upgrade your heroes.. it's a very cool feature but the economy... always the economy... is tricky.
Offense wasn't fine lmao. The best players on earth barely broke 50% 3* rates at TH15. Your average player may not 3 star at all against a non rushed TH15. They are nerfing the hell out of defense because it is literally killing the game and driving players to simply not playing. You can't balance your games around your top 1% to have fun and expect it to survive.

I wasn't really excited about the update because I just returned to the game 2 months ago after quitting for 7 years, lol. But after this, I'm really really hyped for the update! This changes sooo much and opens more fun attack strategies. Please tell me we have Heroes on the troop loadouts now though. Because I'm pretty sure I will forget to reset them every time I attack because I alternate between a farming and a trophy army every next attack. 😆

Ok, you they do have a load out, and now they have lives, which only means that you can finally attack after you attack without needing to wait on heroes to heal, and you’ll be glad to hear that you don’t need to reset anything anymore, no traps, heroes, or high level defenses are gonna go unwatched anymore 😃
10:50 honestly it's about time to give walls a massive buff, like allow you to stack 2 walls on each other to block air troops and those that jump from passing them, or even blocking some range troops from shooting the buildings behind them.
I personally would not like to see this, then the wall upgrades really would be critical. I know they’re expensive but it’s also easy to just upgrade other stuff and not worry as much about them tbh

real! also the archers didn’t become invisible while the queen was, so they activated defenses such as the eagle artillery that still damaged the queen even if she was under the royal cloak...

The update so far looks very op and special, but the only thing that scares is that the game maybe get even more pay to win forward because of the starry is locked behind pay wall. @judo slot gaming, great explained 👍
I'm very worried that this will be too much to handle for town hall 16 defenses. On paper at least it looks like there is no way you can lose an attack with all this offensive potential unless you're throw big time. We'll have to wait and see.
You could treat it as a 'balance' of coc. TH15 is tough for offense, and TH16 is tough for defense. I don't oppose this too much. If it is really too easy to 3-star a base in TH16, defenses will be buffed anyway.
@@ayss0000this isn't balancing anymore it's completely lowering the skill level. TH15 punished you for poor attacks. The new update is going to allow so much error that one stars will be rare with 2 to 3 stars becoming the norm. 3 stars should be difficult and earned. I'm sure the player base will regret this in a couple months after seeing their bases completely flattened everytime they log off.
I just hit town hall 13 the other day and its so exciting to see the game still keeps that freshness with each major update. Can't wait! (eventually i'll hit town hall 17 xd)
Here's some ideas about what can be the new abilities for heroes: A.Q: Lightning bow, When ability used, queen shoots special arrows at her target that drop a lightning, 3 times in level one and 5 times in max level. A.Q: Icey boots, An useful ability that freezes everything around queen for 3.5 seconds when used, 5 seconds in max level. G.W: Tornado twist, Creates a tornado in warden's area that slow down defenses by 30%, 60% in max level. R.C: Heroic spin, Champion takes a spin like Valkyrie and does a massive damage. R.C: Reinforcement units, A passive ability. When she's deployed, a flying ship is also deployed that sends helping units every 5 seconds. Maximum 8 units in level 1 and 20 in max level. They target R.C's target and when she's dead they target anything. If R.C. is alive and any unit dies, they are recreated after 3 seconds.
I really hope they make it so that you can choose when to activate the equipment seperately. For instance, using the big arrow at the beginning then using invisibility later on
I just hope the button for the hereos ability a bit larger I often misclick the spells itself and misclicking such small abilities would be quite often
I personally think that defensive walls should explode into a slowing/damaging radius. Mega poison (poison lvl scales with wall level). Also, the spells stack if someone destroys multiple walls

I do have a question (although it's on something not as relevant) If I'm upgrading, for instance like a Level 8 X-Bow to Level 9, will the upgrade timer to that ongoing upgrade be reduced after the update is put into place? Upgrading to level 9 takes 18 days but after the update, it should take 13 days. Does that mean the ongoing timer will automatically be reduced by 5 days after the update? Also will the goblin builder stay if there's an upgrade it needs to finish? (until that upgrade is finished) The goblin builder will no longer be available after today
Time and cost reductions only apply once the update goes live , every upgrade you've made before then will take Will still take the same time before the update, so the answer is no.
The goblin builder will finish the upgrade if you’ve used it. I believe the upgrades after the Th would go down to the new timer if you had longer than that left to go.
Look out for the trap. Supercell never add something new without messing the whole game. NGL. So now we will have to struggle to get something not as good as what we used to have. Am I the only one that can notice it?

Thats something I didnt expect, but I am super glad for Archer queen, because the spawned archers dont do anything besides dying in 1-2 seconds

Yep this is what I mean by them changing the gameplay up to keep everyone interested, it’s a great addition.
If you're at a lower townhall you just need to progress to the next townhall to unlock new content

We will be very happy if the dev allows us to bring the heroes in attacks (wars or loots) while they are being upgraded 🤝🏻

I'd say if they did we would get weaker DPS heroes but still same hp since they MIGHT be given weaker weapons while their current ones are being upgraded by the builders

I hope they make the prep time attacks to 60 secs and you could change your heroes gear just like siege machines before attacking, so you could startegize even further

Yep, it does look like that but you’ve got to think if you were upgrading these from when you were a TH8 you’d make good progress over the years. It’s like other stuff it’s intended to keep you going over time.

This is so sick but i really hope the classic abilities get renamed back to their original names, royal cloak sounds cooler than invisibility vial, and iron fist is cooler than rage vial, etc

Love the fact and whenever there's new TH update lower level THs also get something new. Either a simple reduction in cost or new buildings and mechanics like this one. I'm already TH15 tho but happy for the lower level players who'd get to try this new thing very early.
Definitely throwing me off trying to learn the new ways to use abilities. Great chance for creativity in attacks though. Hopefully this makes th15-16 along with the defense nerfs a little bit more balanced. Looking forward to maxing all of the new stuff out!

With the epic equipment for events, as long as it doesn’t require money to get I think will be such a good idea. Make everyone play the events to the max to get special equipment can really increase the amount of people coming back and daily play
Or widen the gap between casual and hardcore players even further. for example I didn't even know hero equipment was a thing till yesterday when i saw i had a new building in the shop tab. i took 1 week off because all my builders were busy.

i don't like the concept of equipment in most games but supercell did it very well. it's not complicated and i like that they kinda.. kept the original abilities. for that amazing video im definitely using code judo 😁
One more thing make you grind and get frustrated for... as if there's not enough of those already. I hope there is a discount on the DE or Elixir on the same proportion those orbs cost when you upgrade your heroes.. it's a very cool feature but the economy... always the economy... is tricky.
Hopefully offense should feel a bit better for all town halls with this new feature!

Offense wasn't fine lmao. The best players on earth barely broke 50% 3* rates at TH15. Your average player may not 3 star at all against a non rushed TH15.
They are nerfing the hell out of defense because it is literally killing the game and driving players to simply not playing. You can't balance your games around your top 1% to have fun and expect it to survive.
I am excited to see Lexnos's reactions when he looks at the mind blowing strategies and moments the pros are gonna come up with.😂

I wasn't really excited about the update because I just returned to the game 2 months ago after quitting for 7 years, lol. But after this, I'm really really hyped for the update! This changes sooo much and opens more fun attack strategies. Please tell me we have Heroes on the troop loadouts now though. Because I'm pretty sure I will forget to reset them every time I attack because I alternate between a farming and a trophy army every next attack. 😆
Nope you have to change manually before every attack. I hope they update the quick train tab so abilities get saved for each army.
bro we have same story lol and i think they will have them in loadout or you dont need to reset them again and again in live update and yes it adds so much new ways to attack
Ok, you they do have a load out, and now they have lives, which only means that you can finally attack after you attack without needing to wait on heroes to heal, and you’ll be glad to hear that you don’t need to reset anything anymore, no traps, heroes, or high level defenses are gonna go unwatched anymore 😃

I personally would not like to see this, then the wall upgrades really would be critical. I know they’re expensive but it’s also easy to just upgrade other stuff and not worry as much about them tbh

I see this as a huge buff for the queen. Having a massive arrow is leagues better than spawning archers that die immediately
real! also the archers didn’t become invisible while the queen was, so they activated defenses such as the eagle artillery that still damaged the queen even if she was under the royal cloak...

I'm very worried that this will be too much to handle for town hall 16 defenses. On paper at least it looks like there is no way you can lose an attack with all this offensive potential unless you're throw big time. We'll have to wait and see.

You could treat it as a 'balance' of coc. TH15 is tough for offense, and TH16 is tough for defense.
I don't oppose this too much. If it is really too easy to 3-star a base in TH16, defenses will be buffed anyway.
@@ayss0000this isn't balancing anymore it's completely lowering the skill level. TH15 punished you for poor attacks. The new update is going to allow so much error that one stars will be rare with 2 to 3 stars becoming the norm. 3 stars should be difficult and earned. I'm sure the player base will regret this in a couple months after seeing their bases completely flattened everytime they log off.
I just hit town hall 13 the other day and its so exciting to see the game still keeps that freshness with each major update. Can't wait! (eventually i'll hit town hall 17 xd)

Here's some ideas about what can be the new abilities for heroes:
A.Q: Lightning bow, When ability used, queen shoots special arrows at her target that drop a lightning, 3 times in level one and 5 times in max level.
A.Q: Icey boots, An useful ability that freezes everything around queen for 3.5 seconds when used, 5 seconds in max level.
G.W: Tornado twist, Creates a tornado in warden's area that slow down defenses by 30%, 60% in max level.
R.C: Heroic spin, Champion takes a spin like Valkyrie and does a massive damage.
R.C: Reinforcement units, A passive ability. When she's deployed, a flying ship is also deployed that sends helping units every 5 seconds. Maximum 8 units in level 1 and 20 in max level. They target R.C's target and when she's dead they target anything. If R.C. is alive and any unit dies, they are recreated after 3 seconds.
Being available from TH8 is a major supercell W❤

No you have the same ability but to press, it is 1 ability. The small icons are just showing you what you have on.
Also there's a setting that makes the portraits bigger or smaller when you attack

I personally think that defensive walls should explode into a slowing/damaging radius. Mega poison (poison lvl scales with wall level). Also, the spells stack if someone destroys multiple walls

If I'm upgrading, for instance like a Level 8 X-Bow to Level 9, will the upgrade timer to that ongoing upgrade be reduced after the update is put into place? Upgrading to level 9 takes 18 days but after the update, it should take 13 days. Does that mean the ongoing timer will automatically be reduced by 5 days after the update?
Also will the goblin builder stay if there's an upgrade it needs to finish? (until that upgrade is finished) The goblin builder will no longer be available after today
Time and cost reductions only apply once the update goes live , every upgrade you've made before then will take Will still take the same time before the update, so the answer is no.
the goblin builder will stay until the upgrade he's working on is done, but after that he will be gone.
don't know about the x bow timer though.
The goblin builder will finish the upgrade if you’ve used it. I believe the upgrades after the Th would go down to the new timer if you had longer than that left to go.

Look out for the trap. Supercell never add something new without messing the whole game. NGL. So now we will have to struggle to get something not as good as what we used to have. Am I the only one that can notice it?
