Die abwechslungsreiche Bergtour am Ledrosee auf den Cima d’Oro führt mich, startend in dem kleinen Ort Mezzolago, auf geschichtsträchtigen Bergpfaden hinauf zu einem grandiosen Aussichtsgipfel. Im Jahr 2016 besuchten wir den Ledrosee und das Hotel Cima D'Oro Ristorante direkt unten am See. Von der Terrasse aus erblickte ich damals das Gipfelkreuz oben am Berg, nicht wissend, dass es der Cima d’Oro ist, und ich sagte, dass ich beim nächsten Besuch hier unbedingt diesen Berg erklimmen und zum Gipfelkreuz raufkraxeln wollte. Zwei Jahre musste ich darauf warten - gesagt, getan…. 😊
Bereits im ersten Weltkrieg war der Cima d’Oro wegen seiner grandiosen Aussicht schwer umkämpft. Hier steige ich nun auf, um diesen Gipfel in den Gardaseebergen zu besteigen und das herrliche Gipfelpanorama mit eigenen Augen zu sehen. Ein anstrengender Aufstieg durch alte, im 1. Weltkrieg in Fels gehauene Schützengräben, weiter höher über steiles felsiges Gelände und Geröll und sogar direkt durch einige dunkle Höhlen (Reste alter Bunker) hindurch, bringt mich zum Gipfelkreuz und zur Spitze des Cima d‘Oro. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht, denn am Gipfel wird man belohnt mit einem fantastischen Panorama-Rundblick und man kann hinüber schauen bis zum Gardasee.

The varied mountain tour on Lake Ledro to the Cima d'Oro leads me, starting in the small village of Mezzolago, up on historic mountain paths to a magnificent panoramic summit. In 2016 we visited the Ledrosee and the Hotel Cima D'Oro Ristorante directly below the lake. From the terrace I could see the summit cross at the top of the mountain, not knowing that it was the Cima d'Oro, and I said that I wanted to climb this mountain and climb up to the summit cross on my next visit. Two years I had to wait for it - said, done.... 😊
Already in the First World War the Cima d'Oro was fiercely contested because of its magnificent view. I climb up here to climb this summit in the Garda mountains and see the magnificent panorama with my own eyes. An exhausting ascent through old trenches carved into the rock in World War I, further higher over steep rocky terrain and boulders and even through some dark caves (remains of old bunkers) brings me to the summit cross and to the top of Cima d'Oro. I was not disappointed, as at the summit, one is rewarded with a fantastic panorama view and one can look over to Lake Garda.

Phantastische Bergtour - der Ausblick ist überwältigend! Schön auch dass der Weg teilweise durch den Berg führt! LG
*_Vielen Dank wieder für's Mitwandern :)) Viele Wanderer wissen gar nicht, dass sie alte Höhlen und Schützengräben aus dem ersten Weltkrieg durchlaufen, wobei dies in der Region sehr viel zu sehen ist. Aber ich war doch überrascht, dass der Weg plötzlich direkt durch die Höhlen führte, schön, wenn man dann von Weitem ein Lichtlein sieht und den Ausgang findet... :))) Die Wanderung war toll, das Wetter klasse und alles hat gepasst für mich :)))) Vielen Dank für deinen Besuch wieder und das Feedback. A beautiful hike Angela and a very strenuous one at that!. Lovely to get views of the lake and mountains as you go, Most unusual to come across caves up there. Then a dark one with steps that then takes you to others! All very interesting about the trenches and bunkers left from WW One. *_Hello Alan, I'm very happy that you're back with me. you were :)))) The caves and passages date from the 1st World War, I have often walked through such trenches carved into stone in the Lake Garda region, today they serve as hiking trails, many do not even know what kind of areas they pass through. But I was not badly surprised that the footpath suddenly goes straight through the caves, so I was not quite comfortable to trudge through the complete darkness, beautiful when you see a little light and find the exit :)))) But the hike was great, the weather was fine, it was great for me :)) Thanks for your visit again and the nice comment. *_Hallo Stefan, schön, dass dir die Tour gefallen hat und du sie mit auf deine Liste gesetzt hast, wobei ich die Tour eventuell für Begleitung mit Kindern recht anstrengend und oberhalb ganz schön kraxelig finde, mit Kind und Pausen müsst ihr mit ca. 6 Std. rechnen, Ausdauer ist gefragt, weiter Weg für kleine Füße, allerdings spannend ist die Tour auf jeden Fall :))) Schön aber, wenn ihr es trotzdem macht und schafft, Herausforderungen sind da, um sie zu meistern. Hallo Angela, diese Landschaft ist eine der schönsten der Welt, denke ich. Grandiose Ausblicke! Ich muß zugeben, dass ich gar nicht wußte, dass er erste Weltkrieg auch dort stattgefunden hat. Ich habe mal ge-googled und jetzt weiß ich, dass sich Italien und Österreich-Ungarn an ihrer damaligen Grenze bekriegt haben. *_Hello Tine, I love the challenges, don't let me be deterred by altitude and kilometer data... but on the way I sometimes think it could be a bit easier... ;-) but all the more beautiful when you have reached the summit and as a reward you can be satisfied and marvel at the panoramas :)))) I also found it unusual to walk through the caves, there are many caves and old trenches from the 1st World War there, but I didn't have a hiking trail through the middle of it yet, was also glad if I was always through there :)) It's nice that you again - without any effort ;-) - here you went with me :)) Still have a sunny Easter Monday, best regards, Angela_*

18 lange Kilometer mit. Mehr als 1.000 Höhenmetern auf steinigen Wegen, aufdrehen jeder Schritt achtsam begangen werden muss ... Respekt liebe Angela ... das macht sich nicht von alleine ... hast meinen vollen Respekt ... ist aber auch wirklich eine eindrucksvolle Tour ... Bedrückend diese Höhlen mit der Vorstellung, dass dort Menschen gelebt haben, Beeindruckend die weiten Blicke ... bin gerne virtuell mitgegangen ... wünsch Dir entspannte und sonnige Frühlingstage ... lg Klaus
*_Hallo Klaus, ich liebe ja die Herausforderungen, lasse mich nicht abschrecken von Höhen- und Kilomenterangaben... aber unterwegs denke ich schon manchmal, es könnte ruhig etwas einfacher sein... ;-) aber um so schöner, wenn man dann den Gipfel geschafft hat und zur Belohnung zufrieden und glücken die Panoramen bestaunen kann :))) Die Höhlen fand ich auch ungewöhnlich zu durchlaufen, es gibt viele Höhlen und alte Schützengräben aus dem 1. Weltkrieg dort, aber Wanderweg mitten hindurch hatte ich dort bisher noch nicht, war auch froh, wenn ich dann immer durch war :)) Schön, dass du wieder - vollkommen ohne Anstrengungen ;-) - hier mitgewandert bist :)) Habe noch einen sonnigen Ostermontag, viel Grüße, Angela_*

Schöne und interessante Tour, vielen Dank wieder fürs "Mitnehmen"! Hatte schon überlegt, ob diese "Höhlen" Überbleibsel aus dem Krieg sind. Die Musik gefällt mir diesmal besonders gut, auch dafür Dank.
*_Hallo Lioba, da hast du vollkommen Recht, die Höhlen und Gänge stammen aus dem 1. Weltkrieg, solche in Stein gehauene Schützengräben habe ich dort schon oft durchwandert in der Gardaseeregion, heute dienen sie als Wanderwege, viele wissen gar nicht, was sie für Gebiete durchschreiten. Aber ich habe nicht schlecht gestaunt, dass der Wanderweg plötzlich direkt durch die Höhlen durch geht, so ganz wohl war mir nicht, durch die völlige Dunkelheit zu stapfen, schön dann, wenn man ein Lichtchen sieht und den Ausgang findet :))) Aber die Wanderung war schon toll, Wetter hat auch gepasst, war rundum gelungen für mich :)) Danke für deinen Besuch wieder und den schönen Kommentar. *_Las cuevas y pasadizos tienen su origen en la 1ª Guerra Mundial, he caminado a menudo a través de tales trincheras talladas en piedra en la región de la Garda, pero no me sorprendió mucho que el sendero de repente pasa directamente a través de las cuevas, por lo que no me sentía muy cómodo para pisar a través de la oscuridad completa, agradable cuando se ve un poco de luz y encontrar la salida :)))))) Pero la caminata fue grandiosa, el clima estuvo bien, fue grandioso para mí :)) Gracias por su visita de nuevo y por el bonito comentario, siempre estoy contento. 🌺 Liebe Angela 🌺 du verstehst es immer wieder uns zu begeistern 😮 Auch diese Bergtour hinauf zum Clima d' Oro ist wieder sensationell. Der anstrengende Aufstieg zum Gipfelkreuz wird belohnt durch einmalige Aussichten und Entdeckungen. Wir hatten nicht vermutet, dass die Höhlen aus dem 1. Weltkrieg stammen und als Bunker und Schützengräben genutzt wurden. Wir dachten eher an frühere Höhlenwohnungen.
So haben wir wieder etwas dazugelernt 👍
