- Mount And Blade Bannerlord Has finally released into early access after over 8 years of development and well the game certainly has some unique features and game balance. So today The Spiffing Brit is going to show off how Broken Bannerlord is by using an infinite money glitch / exploit to get over a million gold in a very short period of time. We are of course not limited to just one video game exploit today as we have also discovered an infinite manpower army exploit. What about an even more overpowered exploit in the form of unlimited overpowered weapons and influence Oh dont forget the charm and xp exploits to let you speed up this games level up grind with some good old infinite experience glitches. The Adventures of Spiff Brit are not over yet though as we have many more videos to come showcasing Infinite Army Exploits, Infinite Towns and oh so many more game breaks and glitches. So lets see if M&B Bannerlord Is A Perfectly Balanced game with no exploits or is giving players an infinite money glitch broken. I guess its up to a funny montage of exploits with a cheeky english brit to decide. Ok well it is certainly overpowered... Really really overpowered.
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. You know it's a perfectly balanced game when Spiff doesn't even do an intro.
an intro is only necessary when the game in question has at least been tested ahead of time by the developers so as to reduce or dwindle the number of issues that remain. seriously. if I submitted a history paper with as many flaws in it as this game has, my professor would flunk me and ask why I wasted the paper my essay was printed on.

When confronted by an enemy lord negotiate for peace and auto negotiate. They usualy want back the fief youve just taken.
Remove your fief out of the trade window.
Put theirs in instead.

Shoutouts to TaleWorlds who has basically patched every single exploit in this video aside from the charm thing which is still pretty borked. Pretty much all castles sit at 250-300 men with militia. Dunno about towns, I think they have more. Workshops got fixed on day 1. The recruit bug where you generate 19 soldiers out of nowhere is gone as of today. Garrisons don't seem to sally out anymore and die like idiots away from the castle walls too.
They've done an awesome job fixing the game up all within a week.
its not fixed yet, half the perks dont work even though that hardly matters because the game is too grindy to get them anyways. the perks that do work are overpowered the settlement trade perk allows you to let lords to pay you to take their settlements because they have a negitive value. there is so much more left to be done but you are right about them doing a pretty good job so far

they haven't fixed the troop upgrade yet^^ and I honestly think they should not cap Workshops at 200 Denars when they cost about 13k to set up... At least they should give one about 1k per day in my opinion. To get to 13k beforehand is a real grind anyway if you wanna get companions etc too

Taking in fact that the glitch with workshops has been patched, we can suppose that Spiff just hasn't been closing the game for around 4-5 days lol.
The create-disband party glitch is also patched as of today. Dev team had a meeting and was like "QA, I need all of you to subscribe to the TH-cam channel 'The Spiffing Brit' and watch it like a damn hawk."
Or just disable autoupdate in steam settings.

Me: buys 200 fish, grain and other shit, sells is to a town, sieges is, gets al of it back as loot and sells it back again for even more

Realistically, there is no need to sell any of them to the town for the town's gold since all the gold would still on you if you siege and loot the town

Join the siege of enemy city/castle by third party, partake in assault, tell your people to stand back, kill said third party attackers in the back without them going hostile while they're fighting with ranged weapons(melee can't do friendly fire). Once they have taken the castle, don't leave combat, but continue shooting screaming "allies" in heads while refilling ammo at barrels on walls. Wipe them all out and take the city for yourself.

2. Barter
3. Give them nothing
4. Press gift
5. Give nothing get 1 to 2 charm

-Demand 1 gold
-It actually works
-Max out charm by day 30(I don't know what you are goiing to do with that many points in charm tho)
@@Meryas I did that, I went to all the king's and traded 80k for 80k and it doesn't really make a difference. At least that's what I found. You could just spam gift and give them nothing.
if you have charm all the way up you can buy all land from lords for only 1 gold its ridiculous

Hey Spiff, I wanted to let you know that the "+22w" in the corner that you thought was "22 weeks to heal the wounded" was in fact just the number of wounded you have. It lists two numbers, the first is your combat-ready warriors followed by how many wounded you have.
Little tip, do the ‘Army of Poachers’ quest early game, and sell the 10+ leather you get. Early game, it’s really valuable and can earn you upwards of 2000 denar
Best quest for the late beginning of the campaign. Very good risk-reward ratio.
Not to be done with 10 recruits, though.

Spiff has become so powerful that he can make ingame enemies into spiffco unpaid interns immediately after first meeting them, plunge them into insane debt, and take all their land without any resistance.
"Cheese or meat would go off eventually" No cheese and dried meat stayed good. It was chicken and pork that went bad....honestly no point to buy those.

Well, it's perfectly fine to buy them if you knew they'll be all but consumed within 3(?) days.

Yeah, they normally fix the bugs before the spiff video comes out. Don't take it for gospel, but I'm fairly sure they review his video before posting. Regardless if he got it early, the exploit won't be useable

@@MrYuki1991 It's all for fun. The concept is that he's using as many exploits as possible so that he doesn't even need to be good at the game to win. Besides, of course bugs and exploits will be patched out. The game is still in development, although in the later stages, which is when you actually deal with balance issues and minor bugs.
I'll just leave this here, the W that you called weeks is actually "Wounded" so that's the number of wounded troops you have, Spiff.

This tip turned me into a fast and the furious style horse drifting drive by shooter.
this game just became one of my alltime favourite without actually playing(planning tho). it's so enjoyable watching other people struggles with the most basic things(trade, battle, diplomatic etc) and come here and seeing you, just cheesing it all out. please continue this series, or make an entire playthrough until finishing the game, livestreaming it if you can :)
The great thing about M&B is that even with infinite money and so on the game can still beat your ass if your not very careful .

Not if you spam the retreat button every time you kill someone. (how I beat an army of 800 with an army of 350) My cavalry are the strongest units I have, so I attacked, killed like 10-20 people (around how much I can get away with before I start to take losses) and retreat, I then reenter the battle, order cavalry to attack, hold tab, watch the enemy lose men, wait till either someone on my side is lost or I feel like I am risking my troops and retreat. I did this till we were around even, then I fought for real, ended up losing 100 or so men, but I killed their army of 800. (I originally joined the cavalry as I could get 2-5 kills in the same amount of time that my cavalry get their 10-20 kills, but I got too injured and if you can't enter the battle this won't work, so I had to stay back)
another exploit is when you, "discuss" something with a lord and try to barter, you can literally not select anything to gift and your charm level will always go up.
Also, you can ask them for their land and just put up 1 Denar and they'll take the deal

Patched earlier. These exploits were already patch on days 2 except the party 1 which was patched just before this vid.

The exploit ive been having fun with is starting a fight with lots of ranged units, letting the enemy push into your ranged units and when their frontline gets close hold tab and click retreat to reset the fight, but the dead units stay dead, all your troops have full hp and quivers again after firing arrows into the whole enemy army and the enemy army has to run at you again
That's how you kill those damn Khergit in Warband, Charge, retreat, repeat
But it's woth less moral
@@ryomaanime4563 not in bannerlord, you get full value of everything, I tried it multiple times with both automated and manual "cheesy" battles and i got always the same moral and renown
@@ryomaanime4563 you also usually take casualties in warband when you retreat. In truth though if people wanna exploit you could just use a cheat engine mod, which there are millions of. Just because it is there doesn't mean you have to abuse it.....in a single player game lol.

After the first charge the khergit army split and goes everywhere, our soldiers trying to chase them and running after horse archery.
It's logic to retreat, regroup and force another front fight. And it's logic to gain less moral while using strategy than unilateral slaughter

@@ryomaanime4563 I'd call it an exploit, as it's exploiting a mechanic in the game system. A glitch or bug is a fault or something they overlooked in the code. One example being the free upgrades that Spiff is using. That's a glitch.
I think it's a perfectly reasonable way of playing, as guerilla warfare is effective in many cases. Still, there should be some kind of cost for using such a strategy, and that's why I think it's an exploit rather than a strategy.
Of course it's very easy to fight when you play on very easy.
I'd love to see him cry in all Realistic.
@Kablooee1 But you definitely lose a lot more men, and autoresolve doesn't do shit even with high tactician skill. (Based on my experience, because a lot of times ended in a 1vs50 or more and kill them all)

Man, I dunno why, but I really enjoy rewatching this series of videos. I've easily rewatched these a dozen times or more
The whole grain thing was true in warband, at least with dried meat, bread, and grain. So you could keep your army fed indefinitely, you just wouldnt get a boost from food variety
Wasn't most food in Warband permanent? Unless it was fresh animal meat which wasn't salted, just to keep the cattle mechanic alive.
I may not recall correctly but I think you actually got a morale boost from variety in Warband, it just didn't display what caused all the numbers as Bannerlord does.
I remember because in the early days of playing and finally no longer being a child who played with cheats, I was having problems with morale and had a few deserters, but then I bought cheese, got raw beef, some cabbage and other stuff morale pretty much shot right back up.
@@visitkotor9663 I'm pretty sure most veggies and fruits would stay fresh indefinitely now that I think about it. Grain, bread, and dried meat came off the top of my head cuz they were the cheapest most readily available options, so I was using those the most

The difference is inventory size. In warband a large inventory of food would slow you down and make it impossible to get loot. With bannerlord you can literally carry hundreds of times more stuff without slowing down, simply by building a horse hoard. Then you can carry enough grain to last you forever, while in warband you couldn't carry more than a week or two worth of food for an army. You are right though, grain, bread and produce didn't go bad in warband.
Funny how spiff has done so much trading yet still sells each item individually instead of locking some and using the sell all button.
I don't know if it's right but, I heard that you only get get roguery (or at least way more) if you ransom prisoners individually.

Hey, about the backstreet in the city.
You can start combat with the thugs, exit out of combat area (to the point where you put your weapon away), come back to the thugs and start combat again. The thugs will not move this time, allowing you to kill them with no damage taken. Dont get too close though, since they can fight back, but since they primarely use clubs they cant reach you for a hit
Recently found out.
Apparently you can use Steel, Fine Steel and the other high tier steel to bargain with the noble lords and they see these steel bars as more valuable then the settlements and all the money and everything they own combined.
1 Fine steel bar > 50K-200K Gold, all the settlements and horses and cattle they have
Also, if you managed to buy a settlement from a lord somehow before finishing the main quest to start a kingdom, you basically belong to no kingdom, existing or your own so no one can declare war on you, while you can pretty much buy out the entire map winning without ever having to fight. Ever. Pacifist win strategy. :D
I understand the confusion, but diplomacy as a whole doesnt exist yet, war is declared by raiding towns and peace is a negotiation where somehow you always need to pay even if you win hard.

If you want to get to 225 in Trade:
1. You will need about 1m Denars
2. Buy all the Misc/Food from the towns or any where you want
3. Go to your town that you owns add all the Misc/Food to the stash
4. Take all what you have in the stash and sell it
5. Buy it and put it in the stash and you will get some levels and keep on taking it from the stash and selling it then buying it and putting it in the stash

Keep going with bannerlord. You have inspired me to get my own lovely exploits started on my own play-through mayhap I can find some cheesy exploits on my own. I hear this game is tons of fun but completely broken with some of its mechanics. Should be fun to see what can be done in the name of tea.

I found an exploit that whenever you speak to a noble or lord that can be bartered with just click gift every time and your charm goes up. So far it’s been a level every time.
Also I don’t give anything to them and they don’t give anything to me. The game views it as a successful trade every time
If you didn’t played this game yet , I would not recommend you to watch this video of this dude , it will destroy your first game experience and the fun of this game drastically. If you played this game for 20-30 hours you should be okay

They patched those exploits Brit please find something new, they fixed those exploits in the first update
almost all these exploits are fixed, the workshop one for example is capped at 200 gold, no more 10k daily income

Yeah my workshops give trash income compared to my caravans. The only advantage of workshops is they don't require a companion to lead them but the income is trash.

difficulty settings doesn't affect damage in simulated battles. On the other hand Tactics skill does. Very, very much ;)

I mean, he's playing on very easy, his soldiers are literally 3 times stronger than the enemy by default.

This is a good watch. Early access, still being updated regularly, but still fun to watch this. I hope the Devs are seeing it, too (although I bet they're aware of most of this).
The town bartering mechanic (225) trading is also completely broken. Lords will give all their fiefs for one castle if they are in the same kingdom, or for only 1 gold if they are in a different kingdom. Besides that, you can power level your trading if you own a town by: buying all misc goods there, then putting it all in your stash (in the keep), and then get it out. Repeat by selling all misc goods and buying it again. You will make a little loss but if you have enough gold, it's practically free levels. You can practically do an entire pacifist run by just buying all fiefs for 1 gold, by just finding all lords (which can easily be done by looking them up in the encyclopaedia)
you got it all wrong you dont need to give a single denar you can let them give you the city and they will pay for it because cities and castles have a negitive value

when you take a city or town take all of the prisoners and just go into the captured city and donate them to the garrison that way you will get easy influence for when you want to vote on who gets it.
This actually made me buy the game. You look like you are having a ton of fun.
I would just like to say, the reason why this is possible when it comes to your troops beating others at stacked numbers, is because you’re most likely playing on the easiest difficulty. 1/3 damage makes the game a cake walk. This was a huge factor in the “auto resolve” and would not have went your way if the game was on realistic difficulty. However, great video, learned a lot of new things. Edit: The companion party glitch got patched as we speak. Edit 2: Now the free upgrade glitch by going into another tab is patched :,(

If you have a lot of elite units or lvl 26 or better units you can still beat many armies that are bigger and survive with mostly of your men on higher difficulty.

Taleworlds: Fixed a bug that allowed players to repeatedly create and destroy new parties after reaching each clan tier to take the starting troops of the new party into their own. Player created parties now start with just 1 hero.

you can take prisoners to a castle or town and "donate" them to the dungeon for influence. Its not even an exploit but a game mechanic AS INTENDED. Perfectly balanced.
1st: While I admit the game is still broken in Early Access, you need to ABSOLUTELY download the Unit Rebalance mod from Nexus. It is basically a MUST-USE at the moment. Because many units are broken/unbalanced at the moment, such as fully upgraded Crossbowmen having a 80 in Crossbows yet 130 in Archery skill? Also it makes low tier units like Looters as crappy as they should be (why they can slay tier 6 max-armoured warriors in Vanilla is beyond me), while high tier units have better skill balancing and actually do better in their intended roles.
2nd: I just gotta commend Talesworld for at least releasing a patch/update every day. They're actually trying to stay on top of getting the game stable. For an indie Turkish studio these guys are pretty dang good at listening to the community and using feedback when fixing/tweaking things. Can't wait for the modding community to collectively bust a nut on Nexus when a stable version of the game is finished.
I read in a mod info page that looter's stones are the damage type that is effective against heavy armour... So essenially they're throwing little ballistic missiles at you and your men.
@@ALifeOfWine yeah, stones do blunt damage, which is most effective vs heavy armor. Also, from what I've been seeing, the key is to dodge the stones as much as possible, or defend with shields, once they run out of stones the looters die pretty easily.

Our gold was very nearly the same as well but I have 32 in trading and just got it from causing an extinction event on the nobles in the northern empire

Use the check buttons on the right to lock the goods you want to keep and the arrows at the top to sell the rest. This way you don't need to go through each to sell.

All the attributes in this one max out at 10 though (unless the UI is glitched which is also possible) so it'll just be the 10 stat man adventures (already attempted to create my own 100 stat man using a nexus mod)

@@colt1903 well I suppose that mod I'm using to edit the character sheet does allow you to change health to whatever figure you like gues spiff could give his character literally a million health.
