A similar incident happened with me too. I was along with 3 friends in the city of Esfahan. The taxi driver dropped us exactly on the roundabout next to 33 Bridge (See o Sey Pul), a popular tourist place. Unfortunately, right at that time a protest was going on and we didn’t realize the situation. The taxi driver didn’t had the change money and our friend entered the nearby market for change while we waited outside the taxi. We were carrying DSLR camera and phones. Suddenly 2 men in private clothes came and dragged us in a corner to investigate why were there. We were nearly getting in the wrong hands as they were trying to take us in and put a fake case on us. Luckily, we tried approaching the local police standing in the middle of the roundabout who intervened and got us out upon confirming that we are tourist. That one incident made me decide never to go back to Iran and never suggest the same to anyone else. Incident happened in August 2018.

It sounds more like you were taken to police station for questioning and clarification. I wouldn’t call this arrest. Also, not sure if your local friend Agha actually helped you or escalated whole situation? But based on your story, you personally handled this very well with great patience. People were sentenced in Iran for drone footage while they flying close vicinity of their nuclear sites. If people remember this, even in Pakistan it was used to be a serious offense to take photographs close to major bridges. I’m not sure if it’s still the case or not.
Every country take their security precautions but in Abrar case they done too much... They should have apologised you Abrar . But they have lost my one vote!

I'm so sorry for all problem in Iran....love you
Very well told. With great respect to the country and its people while also telling about the reservations of the security agencies. Its a delicate balance, and you created awareness. Many people might just have a naive, indifferent or ignorant attitude, and you have tried to guide them a bit.
Good work.

Good to hear you are safe, last time you acrossed so many countries with ease even in Pandemic restriction however we witnessed how many dificulty you faced in Iran and at border and now again it happend. I would like to say that if you go to our neighbor India, Your experience won't be that bad even we know that political situation between two countries is so bad.

Yes I agree, unfortunately he didn't get the visa, but we are waiting for your future trip to India.... Indian are not bad, as the saying goes athithi ......
. Iran is very CONTROLLED. So too are the Central Asian states.I mean the Azaan has been banned in Uzbekistan :-0. They have gone in the other direction to Iran where religion is used to control and scare people into saying " Yes sir whatever you say / jo hukm Huzoor !". India and Pak. are chaotic.South Asian Indian Sub cont. countries are where everyone just does what they want !
India can never be compared to Iran, neither in case of laws nor in regards to rules and regulations.
Stay blessed and safe brother, always praying for ur safety.

Abrar bhai that was the very 1st video (tb apko blkul b nai janta tha, ab to piyar hogya hai ap sy) of you that I watched about one year ago. Now I'm watching it second time, while watching whole season.
Thanks for sharing your experience. at first i thought that they made a case to mint some money out of you , but thanks to Allah you came out without any trouble. Please keep us updated and stay safe by the grace of Allah.Your stories are most interesting and i keep waiting for new vlogs.

It must've been a horrifying experience being arrested & wrongly accused in a foreign land. Alhamdulillah you've made it out safely eventually. You know, usually, painful journey leads to beautiful destination. I pray you'll arrive trouble-free, inshaAllah. Stay safe bro. Abrar 🤗

@@itsevan4338 I am fine with Shias in my country who aren't influenced by Iran. If they are, that's a problem. I have no problem with Shias in generals. I have many Shia friends.
@@maquacr7014 what do you mean by "influenced by Iran " ?!
Why do u say on behalf of Iranian people
Thank God you came out unharmed. Iran is a police state. Even in 1978, all countries allow Visa on arrival if you are in transit. Police in Iran make us sit at airport for 2 days with 3 month old baby.
Oh my goodness, your experience so bad.. scary experience you have it.
Then you wake up from sleep 🤣🤣
It is very bad experience for you , you are a brave man who told true to world
Allah pak aapko lambi Omar ata frmay Ameen 💕💕💕💕💕
hats off to the risk you are taking for your audience 💯❤️ allah kamyab karein apku
You are right Atif, this Agha name seems to be panauti. First Agha Khan formed All India Muslim League in 1905-1906, and now this Agha Khan! I will always be cautious of any Agha I meet in life henceforth.
Drone can get you in all sorts of trouble.
Very good explanation by a shia of misbehaving with a pakistani tourist, if the same incident happened with an Irani in pakistan then you would be abusing pakistani officials.
@@arandomguy007 Sunnis should also, behave properly inside Shias shrines. And the way you people treat Shias and bombard their mosques is well known to world।

Thanks Abrar Bhai For Sharing...
So glad you are ok. We had lot of problems entering Iran from Turkey when I was a kid, travelling by road from UK to Pakistan by car back in July 1984.
Iranians are paranoid about security, cameras, visitors...yet the people and country are lovely
This incident shows that their police have no brains whatsoever. And we can safely assume that police might find this an opportunity to make some money.
We are not paranoid but you are so optimistic
Just look how USA could easily change your prime minister
@@shnj1076 People of Pakistan have no love for USA just like Iranian people. There is a revolution brewing in Pakistan against the modern pharo ,,,, USA
For your info, I have many very close and dear Iranian friends.

I have been planning a visit to Iran for a long time. But being a British citizen & having heard stories like these makes me think twice. Irani people might be really nice but definitely regime and its operatives... May Allah bless them.
You should follow Dr Kelly's fate at the hands of the British police too. Will wash away your prejudices. Listen to George Galloway.
