Honestly there needs to be a change on how the police handle these situations, it makes no sense that people have to wait until something serious happens for them to finally help. And most times sadly by the time that they finally do help, it's too late smh
Just be lucky that if you’re from the United States that you have an opportunity to own a gun for protection. In my country we live in a police state so basically no guns, if we get someone who breaks in to our home we have to call 911 and wait.
If you injure or kill your attacker then not only do you get charged, you’ll go to jail.

Yeah and whats sad is some authorities actually want to help but with the current laws we have and jurisdictions the police can’t necessarily help and its both a burden to the victim and the authorities
With stalkers they're apparently usually not a threat at all . All they do is watch .. Can't really send a perosn to jail/prison for watching you and just sending mail . Jail/prison is a serious place. It's actually unlikely for a stalker to become violent with you and even attempt to murder you . Stalking is taken seriously but it isn't really a problem .

It’s incredibly frustrating how unhelpful and discouraging law enforcement can be when it comes to cyber threats 😤 I have a similar situation happening to me (currently) and I have made multiple police reports as I have been told he will rape me and kill me, he knows where I live..etc. only to be told “there’s not much we can do”. I’m so sorry you have to go through this I know how stressful and scary it is.❤️ you!🙏🏼

Omg this same thing happened to me with a stalker and he had disassociative personality disorder and thought he was dating me for like two years and I finally had to get the police and they actually got a restraining order because he did make threats to me on top of thinking he was in a relationship with me. Thank you for sharing this it makes me feel not so crazy lololol
