I'm headed to Andros in a few weeks. Thanks for the tips! Always so much more to learn.

We’ve been to Andros twice now - rented a house on the flats once and spent time at Kamalme Cay. It’s my favorite island to fish, the people are amazing and it’s so easy to get to.

Love the video, especially looking out my window at snow.
Fishing is a sport, second to none.

What is the average cost to fly fishing, Bone Fish, in the Caribbean? Suggested outfitter?

I noticed that y'alls reels squeaked alot during that. I suspect that it is salt in the reel, so how often do you guys clean your reels or if you clean them at all

Why does the reel sound like metal on metal when reeling it in? How often do you pull apart and lubricate it while saltwater fishing? Rarely see or hear mention of anyone performing maintenance on equipment. Most don't even treat equipment with care on the videos. Equipment must be free.

That might be the line going through the guides, I've had that with a dirty line before.

It’s all free. Some of these videos are nothing but advertisements for the resorts.

Most modern equipment can take a beating in the salt. Over a 10 day trip all I do is rinse in fresh water at the end of the day. After the trip you can take the reels apart, clean and grease it and put it away.

Love the content but I’ve seen this video on orvis channel, you guys double post the same video a lot

Thanks for the feedback NorCal. We often do post videos on the same page. With the influx of new fly anglers entering/participating in our sport, we want to ensure there is opportunity for fans of our show and fans of Orvis to see the content.
