I grew up as an atheist, married a rich man and got three daughters, then i became a yoga/tantra teacher, lived in adultry and in a lie. One day JESUS found me and I repented from all my sins. Now i live a poor honest life, in faith, straight out of the hand of God, who is taking care of me every day. ❤❤❤
“Pancreatic Cancer Stage 4 .” That is what the Dr Said. My husband looked at me and my eyes fixated on his… we were speechless .
On the way home , over the radio, Kristen sang this song.
I grabbed a pen and paper and feverishly wrote the words and sang it the following Sunday. Tears, heaving cries… all I could do was say It is Well.
My husband is the first survivor of pancreatic cancer his Surgeon has ever had.
Isn’t our God amazing, nothing is impossible for him!

It is well with my soul. My son went home with his Lord in September. It was an accident at his place of employment. Lost my sister in June, my brother in August, my son in September and my niece in October. It has been very hard
emotionally and spiritually. But through it all, I continue to fine comfort in my Lord. Its a tough road, yet i find it well with my soul.
My wife died from Breast cancer just 2 days ago. In her last 5 minutes I placed my ipad on her pillow, played her this song, and read Psalm 23 to her. She died 3 minutes later. Through it all it is well. p.s. my name is Paul, Becky is our wonderful daughter.

This song reminds me of my Aunt. She had cancer (In her heart) and I still tear up over this song, she listened to it all the time, and was praising God day and night. We could have never been more loved by her and her whole family. She was my Mothers best friend, its been over 2 years and my Mom still can’t stomach the lyrics to this song. My son overdosed last Sunday night and his body lies at rest in the hospital. They will probably be harvesting his organs today. And we will have a honor walk for him at that time in the hospital. My heart is heavy in this upside down in this upside down world, yet it is well with my soul.

When the storm came to my life as a Student in foreign country, I was just 18. A chronic disease came and attacked my brain.2 times also have a near death experience because of it.
I thought as well that Lord has left me alone. But when I looked back to my past, I could only cry thanking Him for what He do. I dunno if my faith would ever be strong to hold on Him, I hope so. And you all can always trust Him, even in storm.

Spafford. this guy had lost all of his family tragically...and then wrote this song. every time i hear songs like this it reminds me that GOD is good and we have gotta keep our eyes on him. My sister passed away at age 54 on 12/22/21 after a long, hard fought battle with colon cancer. I came across this song while looking for the traditional “It is Well With My Soul” version to play at her service. I heard this and instantly bawled because I felt like she was letting us know after all the ugliness of cancer, she is well in heaven. We played this lyric video at the end of her service. Today Is my sixth wedding anniversary with my husband however he moved out at the beginning of this year. I made a heavenly covenant to the King at our wedding and I also made a promise to my husband that I would never leave him. There have been many other hurts that have occurred since he moved out but this song reminds me that I'm serving the God who the waves and wind know personally and they answer to Him. This song reminds me that The Lord has blessed me with peace that surpasses all understanding and I am well. Although I have chaos that surrounds me I've put my faith in God and he is unshaken and unchanging and that's what's holding me steady so I am well indeed. I have put my faith in God and I call on Jesus' name to turn my husband back to God and with that come back home to me.

This was my mom's song for getting through her cancer treatment. Knowing no matter what, it's in God's hands and it is well with my soul. On Thursday, doctors told us that her treatment has stopped working and there's nothing more they can do to save her. Within the next year, my mom will pass away and this will be my last Christmas with her. Through the hurt and anger, I look to God. Through it all, my eyes are on you, and it is well with me.

I have major abandonment issues. Due to not haven’t a great childhood. I’m afraid of the unknown. It has to be better then what I’m settling for now. I know I can do better. I can’t run from myself and my problems. One of the hardest things I’ll ever have to do is walk away from a 23 year relationship. That is toxic. He won’t so that means I have to be the one to walk away. I have Jesus by my side I’m not alone. God first then everything else will fall in place.
I attribute this song with great pain and suffering because of my little brother that died 2 rears ago at the young age of 2 it was his favorite song and It has reminded me of what is truly important

I heard this song for the first time two years ago at summer camp. Over two weeks ago, my I found out my old best friend, who lives a few houses down and who I basically grew up with till we went separate ways, found out his younger brother was attacked. He was beaten, robbed, shot in the head, and thrown in a dumpster by thugs. He was found and rushed to the hospital that night. His brother and I were never that close, but he was still a friend in a way, who I knew from a very young age. For two weeks he fought for survival with the help of ICU staff and prayers and love and support from friends and family all over the country, but Thursday morning he had a brain aneurysm and it was decided he should soon be removed from life support. On Friday evening I went to check and see if the family was home, but it was just the father, who'd just received word minutes before that he was pronounced dead. I walked to a nearby church and cried and prayed the whole way until I got home.
This morning, I went to my church and before the service, this song played on the intercom. I did what I've rarely ever felt compelled to do. I walked over to the alter and knelt to pray. At the end of the morning, I went and found my friend who was just about to leave church. Mind you, he's a big, really tough looking guy. After not talking for most of five years, we hugged and cried together. I miss his brother so much and wish God hadn't taken him so soon, but I've found some peace knowing he's in a better place. This song has a lot more meaning to me now. In spite of all the tears and grief this world has caused me already (I'm hardly 20 yet, and have a lot of health issues), I'm thankful for God's promises that he comforts those who trust him in times of loss, and that we can have hope for life after death. I know that by trusting he will make all things right if I surrender to his will, I can be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy forever in the next.

I don't always acknowledge how much God has done for me and for my life, and it is just an overwhelming and powerful feeling to know God is behind the scenes driving it all, even when I am not aware, or not asking for help from Him. Such a beautiful song and so inspiring and uplifting.

I came to faith in Christ exactly a year ago~it has been a transformative year to me~i have lived my honey moon phase with Jesus, and im currently at my season of wilderness.. A week ago, i was praying, 'say sthg im giving up on you, Lord', i was feeling alone, rejected, not feeling God's presence.. Only today, i've had lots of wow moments, some sad, others also bitter, but all of them were answers to prayers, and I realized that He IS listening to me, he is not giving up on me, he is here and he works in mysterious ways.. I am rejoicing, tho my heart is broken, but knowing that he is answering my prayers and working in my life, is making me alive~ a friend sent me this worship and i feel the need to write this to anyone passing into a season of wilderness, He is Alive, he Is here, he is faithful and IT IS WELL😊

I find that as our relationship with the Lord is growing, we can truly say "it is well with my soul". This is because we are confident in knowing that when we leave this earth and close our eyes, the next time we open it, we will be looking at our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
My husband currently has no stable Job and i earn peanuts but yet we have a whole. Family to look after.. And sometimes we don't know where we are going to get money from...But it is well with our souls... We trust God to get us good stable jobs very very soon... It is well with our souls because we shall come back here to testify in Jesus name. And God has always made a way

The choir sang this at my best friend’s funeral. She was killed in a shooting along with two others whom I was close with. I listen to this anytime I miss her & I start to feel okay. God bless you all.

After reading the book of Job for a sermon, I had questions about why good people suffer. So, I prayed to God for answers and when I awakened I had the part “So let go, my soul, and trust in him. The waves and wind still know his name.” I just feel that God answered my prayer and that he is good. God bless those who suffer.
