- This trip was a long time coming and this year we finally assembled an awesome convoy and took the long trip to Byfields National Park. In this Episode 1/2 we tour north from Brisbane up to Rockhampton and Yeppoon, stopping long the way to drive through a hand-dug tunnel and visiting a spectacular crocodile farm, before making our way to our beach campsite.
But it wasn't going to be easy, with a camper and a large convoy to tackle 'Big Sandy' we encountered some car trouble and got seriously stuck with sunset imminent. It took some getting out! Follow along for the journey and let us know if you've ever been to Byfields.

great episode !! it just goes to show how important it is for a GU Patrol to have a full suspension upgrade exspecially when towing heavy loads for off road use!! something that I think might of been missed for that setup..

hey boys as a local 12 psi in the tires is the go to for big sandy especially with a trailer
yeah when its that soft- 12 totally makes sense- I was running about 16 in my cruiser, I believe the Hitch crew went down to 14in the Patrol, maybe 16 in the trailer. That little bit extra could have been difference.
