I’m a beginner but my question is that can I cut like this with my wahl clippers and what can I use to cut the dark lines because you use this machine I think it’s called otters but what can I use shaver or my trimmer or just my clippers and what lever do I put it on when cutting those dark lines?
you can use either clipper to remove lines! whatever you feel comfortable with bro! I recommend like the osters for the bottom lines and wahls or babyliss for the top blending!

i recommend the ergo fx there a bit pricey but have notches to help you out and for trimmer the babyliss gold fx or something more cheaper could be a gamma hitter and shaver the andis

How do u ask for shears on sides also what number for the side is it number 3 ….it’s like barbers don’t understand what I’m telling them what your doing that shear work …to keep the hair but bulked down that dark to light contrast …help me ask for this haircut and how to tell the barber …it’s like I wanna walk in and show them this video but they will get offended
Tell them to keep it dark and do not spread the fade out. Ask for a mid compressed fade but make sure you have the hair for it Bc if you don’t it’s gone look like a chili bowl. Gotta have it kinda long and messy how you see it on this video bro

You could bro but you’ll work the half guard more at the end. Since the 1 softens everything up your half guard is less work and it’ll be more buttery blend
