I really appreciate these videos of your however you need to plan the series out a little better. In the previous video you used opensense and now you start of with pfsense. At least for guys like me, that are not specialists (I think anyone more experinced would not even really bother watching the videos) you need to have consistency in your series. At the moment at the start of this video, I am left off with the install of opensense (with no idea how to hit the UI of opensense) and now I have to catch up with installing and configuring pfsense. I hope you find this feedback useful as it comes from a place of (very tired and going to leave this for another day now) point of view.... thanks again for these videos
I hadn't considered it from that point of view. Going forward I'll add more structure to the vids. Where exactly in the install are you running into roadblocks?
Could you explain how to do with Hetzner on a dedicated server with a single public IP... install Proxmox... install OPNSense (to use it as a virtual router and be able to give the ports to the other Proxmox Containers? so as not to have to use iptables from proxmox?
You would follow the steps in part three, but change the iptables rules so they point to the internal IP of your virtual router. Regardless you'll need ip tables to coordinate traffic flow. Is why I configured it to forward directly to the VMS. No point in bouncing the traffic around twice.
I'm busy, and theres plenty of other vids that show how to configure gns3 networking. Suggested search term i use is "gns3 network configuration". Hope you stay blessed bro. :) @@Canneverdoit

@@lowspeclabs +1 to what @afroanglofile said. I don't really know how to follow this guide without knowing how to access and use opnsense.

Nice tutorial. You made a mistake on the port 443 prerouting rule its suppose to be vmbr0
Yes, you are right, it should be on vmbr0 thanks for pointing that out for everyone.
Would be nice if we could see the network settings for the gns3 :)
Nope :)
@@lowspeclabs why not? I would like to see how you configure it to work with caddy. Im pretty newb to networking.
