My father had a Bajaj Super, before that Bajaj Cub, but there was a problem with gear selector cable of the super and used to disconnect when it is on a random gear, so sold it, and bought a TVS Vistor GL in 2004.
Had very happy memories with the super, used to rev the throttle when we used to go out for travel.
Father is no more, but I got the TVS victor with me, will keep it forever.
The way they hiked there price by ~40K as soon as they got Fame 2 subsidy shows their commitment of fraud. In short the Fame 2 subsidy benefit was not passed on to customer and instead taken by Bajaj as profit. So 40K extra profit for each scooter sold....now do we say the Legacy is back?
i agree...Since Ola came they have become fast in delivery n all. However, nothing can beat Ola's offerings!(except the fire thing & Front Wheel thing)
@@ASCubeInfi Ola issues are exaggerated nowadays and purposely being spread across media and social media to defame them. I have seen petrol vehicles catching fire and also petrol vehicles facing same damage of front wheel as Ola pics are shown. But over here I am just talking about the legacy of Chetak which is being run as a fraud to end customer. They are just selling name of Chetak at a price which is just too huge

Being from Pune I visited the experience stores and told this fact chetak / Bajaj brand is not being very customer friendly and these days waiting period is just a way of increasing popularity but if the scooter isn't available for six months for booking and even after booking delivery is 3 months total of 9 months of waiting for a scooter is unacceptable so over this he told me when first chetak came out it had 4 yrs of waiting .... instantly i laughed over his excuse and legacy bragging i told him...that time was different today is different there is competition usinb such thing you wont survive!!
I was considering Chetak and Icube for my Father as they are from Reputed brands, I went With chetak as Icube's range was less at 70km, though Icube was cheaper, I have preference for more range as chetak was Claiming 95km, Just 1week after the purchase, Icube launched its New version, With more range upto 130 I guess for high end version, It really broke my heart as I spent 160000 for Chetak, and here I cube was around 1.3-1.4, with similar mileage, But After riding the Chetak for 450km, It impressed me, I even went off-road and it took all the beating like a pro, and Surprisingly I was getting a range of 100-105,I just rode few km's, but My Opinion is yes Chetak is expensive, But it is very Much reliable, be it, it's build Quality or the Range,👍👍
Yeah...... They claimed 95km before purchasing i thought it will give 80km but after purchasing and riding in city i got 110km which impressed me...

I will choose TVS icube over chetak any day, as it's super value for money and i reaches the benchmark set by new age companies like ola and ather. So who won't go for it a good reliable option.

Hi Bro nice video,I am riding BLU CHETAK from 50 days,Bro by experience I am sharing with you that RANGE of CHETAK in sports mode is very less ,I rode 10kms in city in 60 speed & my Range was decreased by 40% so not satisfied with RANGE of the scooter 🙏🙏👍👍

That old one isnot Chetak. That is Bajaj 150 which was based on vespa 150.

My first preference was Chetak, but after a long waiting tenure I bought Ola S1 pro, and let me tell you ola has the worst after sales service in the whole world.

I want to buy but problem is avenge so low and price is too high. if price same 1.50 lakh so range definitely increase minimum 200 km for single charge.
Price is 1 lakh ok range 120 km or 140 km.

Old model was made of real heavy sheet metal this is just another fiber body Scooter, old model will be expensive to manufacture, reliability won't be anywhere near like the old Chetak.
Better Buy the Old Scooter and modify it your self and you'd proud of it.

Chetak acchi gadi thi magar Chetak ko update nahin karne k wajah se band ho gai. Agar yahi nai Wali models ko company 125 cc/150cc patrol engine k sath market mein utarti to market mein bahut acchi demand hoti. Lekin ye electric scooter valueless hai.
