This is just confirmation bias tho, I have had terrible teams against when going hunter and quite good teammates on survivor, despite them being randoms (the best team I went with was a 3-man team on griffin though), but there's a base skill level I expect (I'm in cyclops), usually my wins are against teams of 2 or 3 people, full teams are still very annoying and best I can get against those is a draw.
Season reset is where I've seen most harassers and decoders, this is why I ban forward sometimes, bc they can stun you for like 10 seconds and have enough time to emote and leave. And yeah, if you're manticore/cyclops you'll most likely go against peak tiers...
I really wish netease would add a built in abnormal for hunter, like dead by daylight. After you kick/damage the cipher machine, instead of regressing by a huge amount, it'll regress slowly over time unless it's worked on again. Abnormal can still exist as a trait for that huge regression. Cipher rush is absolutely ridiculous, either they need to adjust accelerated decoding or just slightly slow down the cipher decoding time in general.
As a hunter main, one thing I HAVE to keep in mind is to not panic or else late game will heavily favour the survivors. When I'm in your position 8:35 I usually slug and try to hit all survivors, so they are forced to get off ciphers to heal one another. (I won't chase fire investigator for 2nd chair, and focus on pressuring. I would rather have a long game, than a continuous lose streak) If they don't, I camp the 2 ciphers that have already been decoded to force survivors to start a new one. In this case, I will decide whether or not it's safe to chase and get at least 1 surv on chair. Characters I usually play is Wax Artist and Night Watch, so pressuring is usually easy for me because of NW's fast chase and Waxs' ability to block ciphers. However, I refuse to rank and only match with low tier, so my strategy might not be executed properly because of the skill difference between low and high tier survivors. One thing I did learn too late is to always change targets when you have teleport if you have trouble getting a survivor down in 60 seconds. I thoroughly understand about having a kind of mindset of NEEDING to get the first survivor you see on the chair because I've fallen victim to it multiple times as well, though being able to stay calm definitely helps you think clearly. Don't get discourage when you have a bad early game as hunter Zeez! We all make mistakes; that's how we learn. Getting your first down when 3-2 ciphers popped doesn't necessarily mean a lost. You can still get a tie if you can make wise choices!
yes but when I’m in mammoth I can’t rly rank because the waiting times are terrible……. I once wasted my time for 47 WHOLE DANG MINUTES (I did chores but still)
As a former S1 Ripper and peak tier hunter I personally use Detention + Trump Card and bring one stack of Rage to make stuns shorter along with Desperate Fight and max Giant Claw. I also carry blink for the quick down in the early game. Trump card helps so much, taking the trump card route gives you speed in the beginning of the match with Hunter's Instinct so you can find survivors faster and catch up to them. Along with bringing Trump Card you can bring Giant Claw since It synergizes with Hospitable. It increases movement speed when carrying a survivor so you can carry ballooned survivors and use them as a way to knock other survivors since it will take them a long time to struggle free or you can use Giant Claw to take them to ciphers that are being worked on. My usual strategy for after I chair a survivor is see how many ciphers are being worked on and If I see three ciphers shaking I go to the one that's closest to me to stop cipher rush, If there's two ciphers shaking I look at the direction where It's not shaking and usually the survivor who is rescuing is coming from that direction. In the end game depending on the situation I switch to Abnormal to stop the last ciphers from being worked on, Patroller if i want to stop a survivor from getting away or getting a rescue, Teleport when I know a survivor could be at a gate, or If necessary switch to Peepers so I can slug the survivors if the situation is dire enough.
the worst thing about hospital is that it has been nerfed, the entrance into hospital with god pallet and window used to be 2 windows and it was the stuff of nightmares
You're going through it right now. As hunter, it's easy to get mad especially over the little things, but you need to stay calm and focused. You have to remember, you are one person going against four. Even if they don't communicate well, they can still pull together and give you a run for your money simply cause four heads are better than one. As your only teammate, you need to stay at peak concentration since your actions matter much more than a survivor's actions due to the fact you have nobody else to rely on, but they do. I personally recommend Blink, and I know you like Teleport but Blink has some major utility. While true that it often helps with first chase, it also can help secure a kill by allowing for a quick farm. You're best bet for early game is not just a fast first chase, but you also need to either stuff, force an instant, or delay a rescue till after half. I like running Sadist to get after half rescues. Often if it's after half, they will support them like the secret service so the ability to quickly end the rebound and eliminate a player (Blink) is extremely helpful. As for cipher rush, small actions like chairing near ciphers and leaving chair when nobody is coming help a lot. You can do this by checking them for wiggling to tell if someone is coming and from where while camping. If you see nobody is coming then go to the nearest cipher and try your best to get a hit. The moment you see cipher stop, go back to the chair to hopefully meet them there. Every bit of damage counts, either they risk dying fast later and lose the opportunity to rescue, or waste time healing so always hit the rescuer. In the event you stuff a rescue, try to chair them immediately to get the chair progress going on them. You can do this with double downs too. If they are both down nearby, chair the rescuer first and then the target so you don't risk backdoor when trying to chair the rescuer afterwards.
Yeah I've noticed something once I've gotten to the higher tiers. Survs always know where to die. They make sure they kite far away from the ciphers which can be rough at times. Appreciate the advice though! I'll look into running blink for smaller maps

As a S badge nightwatch cipher rush is literally the bane of my existence. I find it better to run more pursuit builds because a majority of the time you’re not gonna be able to turn it around with detention😭
CIPHER RUSH IS SO ANNOYINGGG EVEN AS A SURVIVOR, THE MATCHES GO SO FAST. I really really want to be a hunter main (Since I have BQ SS tier too) And I can't play as hunter bc of cipher rush...No matter how many times I try to disrupt decoding but it doesnt matter 😭
what i do is literally abuse the ciphers like do NOT give the survs a break but then again im only a croc and if u have ss mary ur prob higher but if it still works on survs in ur rank do it it works like 70% of the time. if you’re relentless enough they start getting scared to decode for some reason like even if ur so close to a down if you KNOW the cipher is practically primed or theres only one more after it i ditch the kite and sometimes it throws off survs too which like its prob a bad strat but yk it works for me!! and dont be too scared to use mirrors, sometimes i see people scared to waste mirrors but because of it they use like 3 mirrors the whole match
Patience Zeez, Patience. Small details can get you the win. As Nightwatch, try using both abilities at the same time and wait things out a bit before attacking each time if you know they have flywheel or are trying to pallet mind game. (Also, up down teleport is only maybe good on large maps, on Red Church and Hospital I strongly recommend sticking with blink.)
Right. I've been getting too impatient because of cipher rush which leads to lots of mistakes. I've been trying to find a balance between hyper aggression vs patience. I'll take your advice though and try to slow down a little more
Adding to this as a Hunter main, taking a step back while in the middle of the atk animation guarantees a higher chance of getting the trade. Being too close to a survivor while attacking makes the game not register a hit bc most hitboxes don't include the innermost personal space of a hunter. If u miss the hit, u at least avoid getting palette stunned when u do take a step back+hit
Here are some small tips I want to give you as a hunter main: - Try different builds for each map, for example when there are plenty of pallets and windows try to use confined and fast pallet breaking. - Blink is probably a better trait for nw or, you can try and bring trump card and switch to teleport for end game. - Remember that it's ok to switch targets a little bit often, especially if someone kites very well. - When someone gets chaired always check which ciphers are shaking, if you see that they are shaking a lot sometimes it's better to just pressure ciphers rather than camping chairs. - There's a trait that speeds chair count up to 9%, it might come in hand since nw can succ survivors back and make them rescue after half. - Most important, if survivors want to taunt you don't get mad because most of the time those who are way too over confident are not that good. Remember that you as a hunter have way more control I hope this helps, I play surv once in a blue moon :,)

Finally you talk about cipher rush 😭 I always wanted to hear your complaints about cipher rush and how hunters depend on every second of the game and how one mistake can cost you the whole game. 7:47 and yeah... I think every hunter main thinks at some point that their wins are not because of your own skills but you only win because of mistakes that survis make. That's why sometimes I avoid playing as a hunter because I have a hard time when I know I made mistakes, that's also why I admire Hikaru as a hunter because he always looks so calm and knows a lot about what to do/not to do in the middle of the games, I've learned a lot from him too
just a little tip for getting the idea of key spawns ! usually the two closest ciphers to you when you spawn as hunter will not be ones survivors will be at, you have a much better chance checking the 3rd or 4th one furthest from you :>
Yeah the problem with being so aggressive all the time is the fact that it’s not fit for all hunters or in the present situation. But at the same time, it’s good to know when to get aggressive to guarantee a tie or win.
You're doing really good keep it up! We always learn from our loses! 😊 And I'm only an evil dragon player, but my bf is a hydra in jp so I'll just pass on what I've learned. When in hospital, when you spawn outside hospital and moving heads, always go shack first. 2 people usually spawn there. Your ithaqua persona is already the same as us and trait too. But sometimes we warp. And since you have the fast walk while charging attack you should keep using it whenever you can. While chasing or charing someone, keep tracks on what ciphers shake, so when that pop or one stops, you know where they will come from to rescue. If one is close by, you can chair there and disrupt cipher decoding. Good luck with your hunter rank Zeez!!🎉
Maaaan Zeez :( Please do keep in mind that we never know what we don't know, and that season reset is just tough. As someone who set one foot into manti and was so done with life I devoted myself to never playing my mains in rank again, I don't think I have any valuable advice to give... (plus I play the mid-tier gods sdhdj) So yeah you would catch me playing Ann or Naiad against match 3's comp for sure. Also.... excitement maybe? Don't underestimate harassers, ever, especially if your character doesn't counter them. If you don't want to play NW with trump card, I would pick someone else if I felt I needed it. Ik a lot of pros just kinda take the harassment but sometimes it's more important to get past a rock than use the equipment that someone uses to get up a mountain, if that makes any sense lol- I think what I did in Saber was to directly counter-pick at least one of the survivors in the game. It's kinda tricky having a hunter main too, because maps and team-comps really influence what's viable; just like on survivor. As hunter in rank you have the power to counter-pick, and I do think you are partially doing that (at least I often hear you mention the map when picking hunters on stream), but I think it's a way bigger part of being a hunter player than people think. That being said, I don't think NW is a downright bad pick against these comps? Or that any of these characters even have a direct counter per se. And yeah Sacred is also just tough sometimes. Also please don't pick up Hermit to feel less cipher-rushed. I promise it will not make as big of an impact as you'd hope :"> 7:00 I don't mean to be That Guy, but teleport does in fact not seem to be getting you wins in this video at least /lh 18:25 getting stuck on things is so annoying oh god. 19:50 the cowboy bought so much time, yeah... It sucks.... harassers are so game-changing, in a way that most other characters simply cannot provide. 22:10 first off, VALID. but tbh what I noticed ranking up to saber/manti was that survivors I was facing got a LOT better at cipher efficiency. by that I mean, finishing other people's ciphers, doing ciphers in a way that doesn't require someone to cross half the map to do it, etc. I often saw ciphers with progress, sometimes even saw people start a new cipher when there was one at 70%. IDK if you know this about your survivor games, but maybe a certain lack of cipher efficiency could be the case? I wouldn't think so, since you were already in Ali and even hounds/elks I play with usually pay attention to my "take over this cipher" pings (tho in my case it's probably exp matching and not tier matching since I only do QMs). But just a thought.... because it is definitely true, but I'm just trying to think of reasons that could lead to this disparity... 22:30 you are smarter than me because I did that once and the faded image being pulled back made me go "YES!!!" and swing and then I was like. Which is understandable! Sometimes ranks or matches can be difficult when comes down to it. When comes down for an advice try not to panic as much and remind calm usually it can work out at times. But still awesome video zeez! 👌
"ciphers? what are those?" - burke, shortly after blocking off ciphers for the 15th time that match in all seriousness you were doing pretty well considering season reset and the fact that a lot of these teams are coordinated :D changing personas whenever you see a team that's frustrating to deal with (e.g. fast ballooning for cowboy/coord/batter, stun reduction for harasser teams, etc). is good practice that can get you the edge you need to turn a loss into a tie or a tie into a win some matches! good luck with your hunter rank-
Im an Ex B badge mary and i feel like i should share some tips (this applies to ranks below spawn selection) After studying spawn points (Not counting assylum, cave, etc) all the survivors spawn in a circle around you, that being said do NOT go to the areas you know you will get kited at (Ex big boat, 2 stories, god kites) I use my ability as a timer to avoid cipher rush. If i get blink primed before i could hit the survivor just switch targets. Dont be afraid to switch targets or harass or abuse your hunter traits. They all delay cipher rush just by a bit but it goes a long way. The moment you start panicking you already lose. If you want to stay NW i would suggest warp on smaller maps so you could harass while chair camping, TP could work the same but the CD is longer (i think) and more limited. Def try to be more flexible with your hunters and traits we hate cipher rush too 💔 Youre doing great though those rounds were harsh
😭😭I had this match where we were up against naiad and lawyer got down so I instantly use my gun on her and then she chased me and down me but lawyer manage to struggle free. 😭😭we got two ciphers pop by the time she pick me up and once I was chaired we were down to three ciphers. So I told my duo and the rest of our randoms to not rescue me from basement and she played it safe stay at basement. My teammates pop 2 ciphers by the time I died. And when the other person took chase and he got hit they pop. We force a draw out of her but I was astonished by how quick the ciphers were popping when I was chaired in basement but it was probably cuz I was cord. 😭😭
knowing spawns and predicting survivors is so important, but sadly even though you can execute them in a nice way you will still get cipher rushed, so i feel u zeez TT. tbh in idv the game literally doesn't give u the opportunity to make any mistakes bc even if it's just 1 MISTAKE like a failed blink or anything similar it can ruin the entire game. my personal highest rank was manti, and even though the survs aren't in the highest tier, they're really good and know how to rush, harass and kite so that makes everything more difficult. in my opinion you could try using different builds depending on what type of survs you're going against! i also used to have teleport bc of how agressive i was, but a lot of times in my case i didn't even ended up using it and that was a huge disadvantage for me. but you're doing good zeez, ik it's frustrating at times but i'm glad you're trying to improve and see ur mistakes bc most of the time almost everyone gives up at certain tier, but i really like how you're trying and tbh you're a really good hunter!! keep it up!!
this is so funny because I was complaining about the same exact things recently it's more difficult because as hunter you don't have anyone else to rely on so it's just stress about time until the match is over and I really do feel the game is just too fast paced to be considered fun for hunters because of that
You're definitely not alone in your frustration with hunter matches, especially at the start of the season! I definitely agree with a lot of people who say don't get to discouraged or upset during matches as it can really screw with your play. In the end, your survivor games always feel so much longer because 1/4 times a lot of the game you're just decoding. Though, when your hunter it's near constant action and you're so busy trying to get into a survivor's head ciphers seem to go by so fast :')
I think it’s because playing aggressive isn’t for all hunters especially night watch since hes very easy to kite at the start of the game especially in good areas I recommend picking up like you said hermit since hes much easier to get aggressive with

I agree with you on Embalmer bans. People sleep on him so much when he can win games and be a pain to deal with for the hunter. Especially on a large map if he gets an above average kite.
8:05 so true I remember a rank match i had with my two friends we were in vc. The fourth random died quickly that i haven't started working on my cipher yet and was put in basement. (If i was that hunter i would have considered it a win no matter what happens) hunter was fool's gold and he kept using his abilities on our ciphers to slow our decoding while camping the basement. One of us stayed near to give tinnitus to buy some time. To make things short, we cooperated well telling each other when he changes target when to prioritise healing and decode different ciphers to make him lose control and guess what We won at the end :D Like that hunter did all he could he maybe did one or two mistakes that's it but compare that to the situation we were in as survivors..
yeah that is why im 100% satisfied w getting ties as hunter really cipher rush is especially worse when there aren't any decoders on the team.....like how are you still getting them done in 3 mins it makes me crazy
Percy main here, and i really care about rank points on him. Sometimes i get 3 ciphers done in one shot. Sometimes I don't ban Priestess and i have to FIGHT with a goddamn Doctor that heals herself in 5s and others in 2s. I can't stand her at all. Priestess is annoying with her long portals, but honestly? Better get a tie with a Priestess than a 4 escape because of a doctor. I hate ciph rush and i hate people who pallett spam and heal like if there's no tomorrow. I love Percy, playing with him and having a badge on him, but the hunter rank is FRUSTRATING. And the ciph rush is just not right, not fair.
I think ur a much better hunter player than i am BUT some advice i wanna give is that while aggression is important, so are mind games and predictions. when u make a move as a hunter survs react, being unpredictable and patient rather than rushing for a down is how i win my games. also blink early game is ur best friend. U GOT IT ZEEZ
I GET THIS SO MUCH I play as sculptor and I have blink because I literally can’t get a hit unless I use blink because Galatea is SO SLOW I CANT GET TO THEM AND EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO NOT GET HIT BY STATUES so I’m just am unable to hit someone who keeps circling around the same loop because I don’t have confind space because I need trump card to switch to teleport to end game AND BY TIME I FINALLY GET THEM DOWN ITS ALREADY LIKE 2 CIPHERS LEFT 😭
You remind me of my past. I was just like you playing as a hunter and was very stressed because of the cipher rush. But after a year I got to cyclops with Joseph and WuChang mains. But unfortunately I quit IV and after 3 and a half years later (they added too many survivors... .) and I came back a month ago and see that IV hasn't changed at all. And my goal is to get hydra (I hope so... )
I really agree with what you said about the cipher speed when I'm the hunter vs when I'm not. For some reason when I'm the hunter the ciphers go so fast and when I pick Lawyer I have to decode 3 ciphers so my team can have a good pop 😅😅
It reminds me of a match with Ivy where I knocked down a thief in 44 seconds. I haven't camped and time to eliminate it (he was saved with Tide) 1 cipher remained💀 (there was a prisoner and a composer).I had a tie but I just thought HOW?!?! Just have a decoder to save when it's critical and boom a tie.This is why in a row I always take Ivy (if she is not banned) because she is the only hunter that I master very well and the fact that the survivors are never safe pleases me very much.Yes this game makes me a little sadistic (I'm not IRL), but Emily says it: kindness doesn't help you survive in this crazy world.

I once faced embalmer in rank, he kite me 15s only but then he get saved by tide and then just go far away from it and then got free escaped, and then he even use another coffin for another survivor because i lost tracks him, qnd then when i chase him in last ciper which only 30% and for some reason it pop when i down him again it made me so mad. 15s kite and because of that damn coffin .
im not the most knowledgeable idv player but have you considered bringing blink trump card on maps youre not sure you can cut off the rescue? from what im understanding your nw build is meant to work in a way where you chair someone, cut off the rescuer early, tp to chair and force someone else to come in for an after half rescue. i think its a bit more difficult to see where the rescuer is coming from on some maps, especially on hospital so going for the usual tie build would technically ensure a better outcome i think i guess sometimes already before the match starts you have to accept it might be a tie. especially when its hospital lmao oh and also on the red church match abnormal really wouldve saved you there. i geniuenly dont know how useful confined space is on that map, so i cant say whether switching builds to trump card would be better. i think its definitely worth it to change your builds sometimes depending on the maps you play but then again, im not very good at the game myself. i dont rank, i spend most of my time watching higher ranks play so you can take my advice with a grain of salt haha
Tbh this is the one downside of carrying straight teleport (as NW at least . It is harder to get the first down and then snowball. Sometimes it doesn’t have any value either and just sits there in till you get your first kill. It’s rlly risky to play blink with confined and no trump card but it’s worth it trust
hi zeez I'm a veteran S embalmer and I know ur struggling going against her :D IDK if this will help buttt (note: I use she/her on Aesop, pay no mind!!) Aesop has NO raw kiting skill, good embalmers carry 9 (broken windows) or 12 (flywheel) or both as 312. If she really isn't carrying Borrowed time her coffin gets used as the replacement, that's why What you want to do is make her waste her coffin, either have her embalm the wrong person (baiting it out) or use it very very early on. BTW if she embalms someone and doesn't rebirth on the down, if you pick them up and drop them they can't be rebirthed until they're chaired :3. (hunters make me waste my coffin on somebody else- and then tunnel me because i don't have my coffin anymore agh) She is incredibly vulnerable without her coffin. She's like a lucky guy without any items! TT I know you mention how lots of embalmers die across the map from their coffin- which is true and sadly I'm not sure how you could get rid of that... aside from somehow getting them down before they can leave the coffin's area!! Embalmer is awful on the smaller maps because the distance isn't enough to waste an efficient amount of time! good luck going against Embalmer Zeez! One day you won't have to ban her LOL!!
Oh, it's really nice to see someone's loses as hunter cause it reconciles me with reality that's okay to lose sometimes 😂 Most of the times I don't play hunter just of out frustration from previous matches. As surv even if you die you may count how many time you save for teammates, but as hunter I always feel like it's all my fault and so on.
11:28 I seen a dbd player talk about this, how weird it is that specific hunters in idv have certain hit boxes, especially since some skins change it to make it bigger/smaller and it made me realize how poorly balanced this game is 😭
I feel like it's also veryyy confusing when playing as well too lol. There are times when I play hunter, and I swing and it just doesn't hit when it's supposed to. Then times when I play surv and I get hit at a very far distance, which also confuses the hell out of me, especially when pallet mind gaming. Even weirder that it's different for every hunter, so you have to just know it beforehand or take a risk and pray u don't get hit/terrorshocked😭
I always use Trump Card and I bring Blink or Peeper according to the map. Peeper mostly and man... Peeper helps alot for me. It can slow down the Cipher and prevent the loop kiting spots. Even if they decide to remove the peeper it gets me a little bit of time and that little time comes in clutch.
Even with cipher rush, if hunter is skilled or if survivor teammates are flopping, still lose. Like the times when I got like 2 harassers and both of them got downed so quick, or when we got rescuers with flywheel... Yeah rank is fun. So fun.. Also Zeez go to sleep or rest man.
You lose the moment you get nervous after the first 3 ciphers pop. First 3 ciphers will be done quickly, especially when you are playing Night watch who doesn't really have control over ciphers, Night watch lives off of double downs and stuffed rescues, or you forget about camping and chase someone else like percy after chairing, you don't need to panic when first 3 ciphers pop cause first 3 ciphers are easy to finish especially if the first kite was far from every cipher, you just should follow one of the strategies i said, patrol the area and get double downs as well as force the after half rescue, or get extremely fast downs and forget about camping and go for ciphers. If there's no tinnitus nearby you can leave the chair and patrol half of the map near the chaired survivor, or as i said go for ciphers cause someone will have to get off the cipher to get their teammate of the chair, meanwhile you go after another survivor which leaves only 1 survivor decoding, the other way around cipher rush for fast hunters is force survivors to cipher lock themselves, it's hard but possible, saw the cipher lock change the game drastically multiple times. The only way for Night watch to prevent cipher rush is: 1) chairing on a cipher 2) don't camp and go after survivors that are decoding(you can also try and make the said survivor transition to another cipher that is being decoded, survivors run according to your position, if you are standing between them and hospital they won't transition there) 3) try to create a cipher lock situation
Btw! A little trick to try and force after half rescue, if the rescuer is greedy and wants to get the exact before half, you can time it and charge attack so they either take a ts or they rescue exactly after half.
If that was me counter: three but like ur so real for that hunter rank at season reset makes me sob and feel bad about my skills. But you can do it I believe!! (it’s also why I don’t rank at the start of the season)
I agree with everything you said as same happens to me as well and obvs so many in the comments.,, My only tip is that you should try to work on stuffing rescues better ! As long as you do that im sure u can get easier ties and wins
Hey, ive ran into you as hunter before, and i peaked hunter cyclops, but i felt i need to clear some things, cipher rush cannot be nerfed right now, the current cipher rush is just right for hunters like opera, and dream witch, which are very broken, but for regular hunters, you have to try very very hard for wins, if you just camp chair, you usually get a loss. And also, the way you trade hits is timing it so when your animation finishes, you get stunned, so not when it starts, it take a lot of practice, but best of luck in your hunter matches, and if you need help against cipher rush i can try and help
Actually one more thing im so passive and get so concentrated on chasing one surv i do not notice anything and if it stretches out for too long my morality starts dropping and i get pissed. To the point i have to put down a timer to know how much time has passed. This actually helps remind me to look up and check cipher content. At least itll help me predict survivor movements from where theyll come to rescue, which cipher is next etc. Most times i do this i get to at leaat secure ties on really tough games. Besides that i dont know know what else to do, i always get first down when 3 ciphers pop and i just dont get it, my hunter skills should be average at worst really.
Forget what I said before about warp; bq can actually be a good option in maps like hospital like you said so you could try to use her !! I'm not that good at bq but I'd say I'm decent, so if you need a little tutorial on how to use her I can make one!
not even trying to be biased saying this but i think you could honestly try and pick up alva. even though hes not prone to cipher rush hes still a really good learning experience when it comes to putting your awareness on that area of the game
One time in rank I played doctor and I did a 5 cipher kite (includes my first chair) but somehow the hunter got a 4 kill cause my friend rescues me (he was playing priestess) which I’m fine with when hunter got detention but the coordinator for some reason decides to shoot when I’m not being picked up not to mention I pinged Don’t rescue me and forget about saving go for the tie but guess what they tried rescuing me when they have no item and detention still got a minute left and I’m on my last chair but they still insisted on rescuing me but that results in a 4k for the hunter I don’t blame my friend cause he is playing priestess so rescuing will not be a problem but in the post match we got flamed by being “bad” while they shot the gun at the worst time possible and the lawyer tried to save me too, it was a night watch too
alva could help but cipher rush can still happen if they have a decoder or two esspecialy luca. like i get cipher rushed as alva even though the kite wasnt that long :/
This might just be a skill issue, but i feel like everything is reversed depending on the faction i’m playing, for example, when i’m playing survivor cipher rush is practically non existent, 50 seconds will have passed and i see a random ping “cipher machine decoding progress 12%” what do you mean 12%.. what were you doing that whole time? Counting how many pixels the cipher is made of?

This is just confirmation bias tho, I have had terrible teams against when going hunter and quite good teammates on survivor, despite them being randoms (the best team I went with was a 3-man team on griffin though), but there's a base skill level I expect (I'm in cyclops), usually my wins are against teams of 2 or 3 people, full teams are still very annoying and best I can get against those is a draw.

Season reset is where I've seen most harassers and decoders, this is why I ban forward sometimes, bc they can stun you for like 10 seconds and have enough time to emote and leave. And yeah, if you're manticore/cyclops you'll most likely go against peak tiers...

I really wish netease would add a built in abnormal for hunter, like dead by daylight. After you kick/damage the cipher machine, instead of regressing by a huge amount, it'll regress slowly over time unless it's worked on again. Abnormal can still exist as a trait for that huge regression. Cipher rush is absolutely ridiculous, either they need to adjust accelerated decoding or just slightly slow down the cipher decoding time in general.

As a hunter main, one thing I HAVE to keep in mind is to not panic or else late game will heavily favour the survivors. When I'm in your position 8:35 I usually slug and try to hit all survivors, so they are forced to get off ciphers to heal one another. (I won't chase fire investigator for 2nd chair, and focus on pressuring. I would rather have a long game, than a continuous lose streak) If they don't, I camp the 2 ciphers that have already been decoded to force survivors to start a new one. In this case, I will decide whether or not it's safe to chase and get at least 1 surv on chair. Characters I usually play is Wax Artist and Night Watch, so pressuring is usually easy for me because of NW's fast chase and Waxs' ability to block ciphers. However, I refuse to rank and only match with low tier, so my strategy might not be executed properly because of the skill difference between low and high tier survivors. One thing I did learn too late is to always change targets when you have teleport if you have trouble getting a survivor down in 60 seconds. I thoroughly understand about having a kind of mindset of NEEDING to get the first survivor you see on the chair because I've fallen victim to it multiple times as well, though being able to stay calm definitely helps you think clearly.
Don't get discourage when you have a bad early game as hunter Zeez! We all make mistakes; that's how we learn. Getting your first down when 3-2 ciphers popped doesn't necessarily mean a lost. You can still get a tie if you can make wise choices!

As a former S1 Ripper and peak tier hunter I personally use Detention + Trump Card and bring one stack of Rage to make stuns shorter along with Desperate Fight and max Giant Claw.
I also carry blink for the quick down in the early game.
Trump card helps so much, taking the trump card route gives you speed in the beginning of the match with Hunter's Instinct so you can find survivors faster and catch up to them.
Along with bringing Trump Card you can bring Giant Claw since It synergizes with Hospitable.
It increases movement speed when carrying a survivor so you can carry ballooned survivors and use them as a way to knock other survivors since it will take them a long time to struggle free or you can use Giant Claw to take them to ciphers that are being worked on.
My usual strategy for after I chair a survivor is see how many ciphers are being worked on and If I see three ciphers shaking I go to the one that's closest to me to stop cipher rush, If there's two ciphers shaking I look at the direction where It's not shaking and usually the survivor who is rescuing is coming from that direction.
In the end game depending on the situation I switch to Abnormal to stop the last ciphers from being worked on, Patroller if i want to stop a survivor from getting away or getting a rescue, Teleport when I know a survivor could be at a gate, or If necessary switch to Peepers so I can slug the survivors if the situation is dire enough.
the worst thing about hospital is that it has been nerfed, the entrance into hospital with god pallet and window used to be 2 windows and it was the stuff of nightmares

You're going through it right now. As hunter, it's easy to get mad especially over the little things, but you need to stay calm and focused. You have to remember, you are one person going against four. Even if they don't communicate well, they can still pull together and give you a run for your money simply cause four heads are better than one. As your only teammate, you need to stay at peak concentration since your actions matter much more than a survivor's actions due to the fact you have nobody else to rely on, but they do.
I personally recommend Blink, and I know you like Teleport but Blink has some major utility. While true that it often helps with first chase, it also can help secure a kill by allowing for a quick farm. You're best bet for early game is not just a fast first chase, but you also need to either stuff, force an instant, or delay a rescue till after half. I like running Sadist to get after half rescues. Often if it's after half, they will support them like the secret service so the ability to quickly end the rebound and eliminate a player (Blink) is extremely helpful.
As for cipher rush, small actions like chairing near ciphers and leaving chair when nobody is coming help a lot. You can do this by checking them for wiggling to tell if someone is coming and from where while camping. If you see nobody is coming then go to the nearest cipher and try your best to get a hit. The moment you see cipher stop, go back to the chair to hopefully meet them there.
Every bit of damage counts, either they risk dying fast later and lose the opportunity to rescue, or waste time healing so always hit the rescuer. In the event you stuff a rescue, try to chair them immediately to get the chair progress going on them. You can do this with double downs too. If they are both down nearby, chair the rescuer first and then the target so you don't risk backdoor when trying to chair the rescuer afterwards.
Yeah I've noticed something once I've gotten to the higher tiers. Survs always know where to die. They make sure they kite far away from the ciphers which can be rough at times. Appreciate the advice though! I'll look into running blink for smaller maps

As a S badge nightwatch cipher rush is literally the bane of my existence. I find it better to run more pursuit builds because a majority of the time you’re not gonna be able to turn it around with detention😭
CIPHER RUSH IS SO ANNOYINGGG EVEN AS A SURVIVOR, THE MATCHES GO SO FAST. I really really want to be a hunter main (Since I have BQ SS tier too) And I can't play as hunter bc of cipher rush...No matter how many times I try to disrupt decoding but it doesnt matter 😭
what i do is literally abuse the ciphers like do NOT give the survs a break but then again im only a croc and if u have ss mary ur prob higher but if it still works on survs in ur rank do it it works like 70% of the time. if you’re relentless enough they start getting scared to decode for some reason
like even if ur so close to a down if you KNOW the cipher is practically primed or theres only one more after it i ditch the kite and sometimes it throws off survs too which like its prob a bad strat but yk it works for me!! and dont be too scared to use mirrors, sometimes i see people scared to waste mirrors but because of it they use like 3 mirrors the whole match

Patience Zeez, Patience. Small details can get you the win. As Nightwatch, try using both abilities at the same time and wait things out a bit before attacking each time if you know they have flywheel or are trying to pallet mind game. (Also, up down teleport is only maybe good on large maps, on Red Church and Hospital I strongly recommend sticking with blink.)
Right. I've been getting too impatient because of cipher rush which leads to lots of mistakes. I've been trying to find a balance between hyper aggression vs patience. I'll take your advice though and try to slow down a little more
To try and get more trades with pallet hits, usually just hitting by backing up at the same time prevents pallet stun and let's u get the hit off
Adding to this as a Hunter main, taking a step back while in the middle of the atk animation guarantees a higher chance of getting the trade. Being too close to a survivor while attacking makes the game not register a hit bc most hitboxes don't include the innermost personal space of a hunter. If u miss the hit, u at least avoid getting palette stunned when u do take a step back+hit
Here are some small tips I want to give you as a hunter main:
- Try different builds for each map, for example when there are plenty of pallets and windows try to use confined and fast pallet breaking.
- Blink is probably a better trait for nw or, you can try and bring trump card and switch to teleport for end game.
- Remember that it's ok to switch targets a little bit often, especially if someone kites very well.
- When someone gets chaired always check which ciphers are shaking, if you see that they are shaking a lot sometimes it's better to just pressure ciphers rather than camping chairs.
- There's a trait that speeds chair count up to 9%, it might come in hand since nw can succ survivors back and make them rescue after half.
- Most important, if survivors want to taunt you don't get mad because most of the time those who are way too over confident are not that good. Remember that you as a hunter have way more control

I think every hunter main thinks at some point that their wins are not because of your own skills but you only win because of mistakes that survis make. That's why sometimes I avoid playing as a hunter because I have a hard time when I know I made mistakes, that's also why I admire Hikaru as a hunter because he always looks so calm and knows a lot about what to do/not to do in the middle of the games, I've learned a lot from him too
just a little tip for getting the idea of key spawns ! usually the two closest ciphers to you when you spawn as hunter will not be ones survivors will be at, you have a much better chance checking the 3rd or 4th one furthest from you :>

You're doing really good keep it up! We always learn from our loses! 😊 And I'm only an evil dragon player, but my bf is a hydra in jp so I'll just pass on what I've learned. When in hospital, when you spawn outside hospital and moving heads, always go shack first. 2 people usually spawn there. Your ithaqua persona is already the same as us and trait too. But sometimes we warp. And since you have the fast walk while charging attack you should keep using it whenever you can. While chasing or charing someone, keep tracks on what ciphers shake, so when that pop or one stops, you know where they will come from to rescue. If one is close by, you can chair there and disrupt cipher decoding. Good luck with your hunter rank Zeez!!🎉

As someone who set one foot into manti and was so done with life I devoted myself to never playing my mains in rank again, I don't think I have any valuable advice to give... (plus I play the mid-tier gods sdhdj)
So yeah you would catch me playing Ann or Naiad against match 3's comp for sure. Also.... excitement maybe? Don't underestimate harassers, ever, especially if your character doesn't counter them.
If you don't want to play NW with trump card, I would pick someone else if I felt I needed it. Ik a lot of pros just kinda take the harassment but sometimes it's more important to get past a rock than use the equipment that someone uses to get up a mountain, if that makes any sense lol-
I think what I did in Saber was to directly counter-pick at least one of the survivors in the game. It's kinda tricky having a hunter main too, because maps and team-comps really influence what's viable; just like on survivor.
As hunter in rank you have the power to counter-pick, and I do think you are partially doing that (at least I often hear you mention the map when picking hunters on stream), but I think it's a way bigger part of being a hunter player than people think.
That being said, I don't think NW is a downright bad pick against these comps? Or that any of these characters even have a direct counter per se. And yeah Sacred is also just tough sometimes.
Also please don't pick up Hermit to feel less cipher-rushed. I promise it will not make as big of an impact as you'd hope :">

22:10 first off, VALID. but tbh what I noticed ranking up to saber/manti was that survivors I was facing got a LOT better at cipher efficiency. by that I mean, finishing other people's ciphers, doing ciphers in a way that doesn't require someone to cross half the map to do it, etc.
I often saw ciphers with progress, sometimes even saw people start a new cipher when there was one at 70%.
IDK if you know this about your survivor games, but maybe a certain lack of cipher efficiency could be the case? I wouldn't think so, since you were already in Ali and even hounds/elks I play with usually pay attention to my "take over this cipher" pings (tho in my case it's probably exp matching and not tier matching since I only do QMs). But just a thought.... because it is definitely true, but I'm just trying to think of reasons that could lead to this disparity...

Which is understandable! Sometimes ranks or matches can be difficult when comes down to it. When comes down for an advice try not to panic as much and remind calm usually it can work out at times. But still awesome video zeez! 👌

in all seriousness you were doing pretty well considering season reset and the fact that a lot of these teams are coordinated :D changing personas whenever you see a team that's frustrating to deal with (e.g. fast ballooning for cowboy/coord/batter, stun reduction for harasser teams, etc). is good practice that can get you the edge you need to turn a loss into a tie or a tie into a win some matches! good luck with your hunter rank-
Im an Ex B badge mary and i feel like i should share some tips (this applies to ranks below spawn selection)
After studying spawn points (Not counting assylum, cave, etc) all the survivors spawn in a circle around you, that being said do NOT go to the areas you know you will get kited at (Ex big boat, 2 stories, god kites)
I use my ability as a timer to avoid cipher rush. If i get blink primed before i could hit the survivor just switch targets.
Dont be afraid to switch targets or harass or abuse your hunter traits. They all delay cipher rush just by a bit but it goes a long way. The moment you start panicking you already lose.
If you want to stay NW i would suggest warp on smaller maps so you could harass while chair camping, TP could work the same but the CD is longer (i think) and more limited. Def try to be more flexible with your hunters and traits we hate cipher rush too 💔

😭😭I had this match where we were up against naiad and lawyer got down so I instantly use my gun on her and then she chased me and down me but lawyer manage to struggle free. 😭😭we got two ciphers pop by the time she pick me up and once I was chaired we were down to three ciphers. So I told my duo and the rest of our randoms to not rescue me from basement and she played it safe stay at basement. My teammates pop 2 ciphers by the time I died. And when the other person took chase and he got hit they pop. We force a draw out of her but I was astonished by how quick the ciphers were popping when I was chaired in basement but it was probably cuz I was cord. 😭😭
knowing spawns and predicting survivors is so important, but sadly even though you can execute them in a nice way you will still get cipher rushed, so i feel u zeez TT. tbh in idv the game literally doesn't give u the opportunity to make any mistakes bc even if it's just 1 MISTAKE like a failed blink or anything similar it can ruin the entire game. my personal highest rank was manti, and even though the survs aren't in the highest tier, they're really good and know how to rush, harass and kite so that makes everything more difficult. in my opinion you could try using different builds depending on what type of survs you're going against! i also used to have teleport bc of how agressive i was, but a lot of times in my case i didn't even ended up using it and that was a huge disadvantage for me. but you're doing good zeez, ik it's frustrating at times but i'm glad you're trying to improve and see ur mistakes bc most of the time almost everyone gives up at certain tier, but i really like how you're trying and tbh you're a really good hunter!! keep it up!!

You're definitely not alone in your frustration with hunter matches, especially at the start of the season! I definitely agree with a lot of people who say don't get to discouraged or upset during matches as it can really screw with your play.
In the end, your survivor games always feel so much longer because 1/4 times a lot of the game you're just decoding. Though, when your hunter it's near constant action and you're so busy trying to get into a survivor's head ciphers seem to go by so fast :')

I think it’s because playing aggressive isn’t for all hunters especially night watch since hes very easy to kite at the start of the game especially in good areas I recommend picking up like you said hermit since hes much easier to get aggressive with

I agree with you on Embalmer bans. People sleep on him so much when he can win games and be a pain to deal with for the hunter. Especially on a large map if he gets an above average kite.

I remember a rank match i had with my two friends we were in vc. The fourth random died quickly that i haven't started working on my cipher yet and was put in basement. (If i was that hunter i would have considered it a win no matter what happens) hunter was fool's gold and he kept using his abilities on our ciphers to slow our decoding while camping the basement. One of us stayed near to give tinnitus to buy some time. To make things short, we cooperated well telling each other when he changes target when to prioritise healing and decode different ciphers to make him lose control and guess what
We won at the end :D
Like that hunter did all he could he maybe did one or two mistakes that's it but compare that to the situation we were in as survivors..

Sometimes i get 3 ciphers done in one shot. Sometimes I don't ban Priestess and i have to FIGHT with a goddamn Doctor that heals herself in 5s and others in 2s. I can't stand her at all.
Priestess is annoying with her long portals, but honestly? Better get a tie with a Priestess than a 4 escape because of a doctor.

I think ur a much better hunter player than i am BUT some advice i wanna give is that while aggression is important, so are mind games and predictions. when u make a move as a hunter survs react, being unpredictable and patient rather than rushing for a down is how i win my games. also blink early game is ur best friend. I GET THIS SO MUCH I play as sculptor and I have blink because I literally can’t get a hit unless I use blink because Galatea is SO SLOW I CANT GET TO THEM AND EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO NOT GET HIT BY STATUES so I’m just am unable to hit someone who keeps circling around the same loop because I don’t have confind space because I need trump card to switch to teleport to end game AND BY TIME I FINALLY GET THEM DOWN ITS ALREADY LIKE 2 CIPHERS LEFT 😭
You remind me of my past. I was just like you playing as a hunter and was very stressed because of the cipher rush. But after a year I got to cyclops with Joseph and WuChang mains. But unfortunately I quit IV and after 3 and a half years later (they added too many survivors... .) and I came back a month ago and see that IV hasn't changed at all. And my goal is to get hydra (I hope so... )
I really agree with what you said about the cipher speed when I'm the hunter vs when I'm not. For some reason when I'm the hunter the ciphers go so fast and when I pick Lawyer I have to decode 3 ciphers so my team can have a good pop 😅😅
It reminds me of a match with Ivy where I knocked down a thief in 44 seconds. I haven't camped and time to eliminate it (he was saved with Tide) 1 cipher remained💀 (there was a prisoner and a composer).I had a tie but I just thought HOW?!?! Just have a decoder to save when it's critical and boom a tie.This is why in a row I always take Ivy (if she is not banned) because she is the only hunter that I master very well and the fact that the survivors are never safe pleases me very much.Yes this game makes me a little sadistic (I'm not IRL), but Emily says it: kindness doesn't help you survive in this crazy world.

Being in croc rank is the best decision i have ever made. If cipher rush is this high in these tiers i dont wanna rank higher.

I didn’t mean to laugh I’m sorry. But this was me when I started losing with geisha (before her overall changes so like 2ish years ago) and thank god sculptor came out some point after that . But I never got higher than croc so like cannot imagine teams beyond that. But still this made me laugh. I feel your pain to an extent I do LOL. being a hunter main is ….. mmm masochism sometimes.

How o feel after being thrown in rank as hunter
I once faced embalmer in rank, he kite me 15s only but then he get saved by tide and then just go far away from it and then got free escaped, and then he even use another coffin for another survivor because i lost tracks him, qnd then when i chase him in last ciper which only 30% and for some reason it pop when i down him again it made me so mad. 15s kite and because of that damn coffin .
im not the most knowledgeable idv player but have you considered bringing blink trump card on maps youre not sure you can cut off the rescue? from what im understanding your nw build is meant to work in a way where you chair someone, cut off the rescuer early, tp to chair and force someone else to come in for an after half rescue. i think its a bit more difficult to see where the rescuer is coming from on some maps, especially on hospital so going for the usual tie build would technically ensure a better outcome i think
i guess sometimes already before the match starts you have to accept it might be a tie. especially when its hospital lmao
oh and also on the red church match abnormal really wouldve saved you there. i geniuenly dont know how useful confined space is on that map, so i cant say whether switching builds to trump card would be better. i think its definitely worth it to change your builds sometimes depending on the maps you play
but then again, im not very good at the game myself. i dont rank, i spend most of my time watching higher ranks play so you can take my advice with a grain of salt haha
Tbh this is the one downside of carrying straight teleport (as NW at least . It is harder to get the first down and then snowball. Sometimes it doesn’t have any value either and just sits there in till you get your first kill. It’s rlly risky to play blink with confined and no trump card but it’s worth it trust

Aesop has NO raw kiting skill, good embalmers carry 9 (broken windows) or 12 (flywheel) or both as 312. If she really isn't carrying Borrowed time her coffin gets used as the replacement, that's why What you want to do is make her waste her coffin, either have her embalm the wrong person (baiting it out) or use it very very early on. BTW if she embalms someone and doesn't rebirth on the down, if you pick them up and drop them they can't be rebirthed until they're chaired :3. (hunters make me waste my coffin on somebody else- and then tunnel me because i don't have my coffin anymore agh)
She is incredibly vulnerable without her coffin. She's like a lucky guy without any items! TT
I know you mention how lots of embalmers die across the map from their coffin- which is true and sadly I'm not sure how you could get rid of that... aside from somehow getting them down before they can leave the coffin's area!! Embalmer is awful on the smaller maps because the distance isn't enough to waste an efficient amount of time!

Most of the times I don't play hunter just of out frustration from previous matches. As surv even if you die you may count how many time you save for teammates, but as hunter I always feel like it's all my fault and so on.
Quick tip you can hit forward out of his ball before he stuns you if you are watching him

11:28 I seen a dbd player talk about this, how weird it is that specific hunters in idv have certain hit boxes, especially since some skins change it to make it bigger/smaller and it made me realize how poorly balanced this game is 😭
I feel like it's also veryyy confusing when playing as well too lol. There are times when I play hunter, and I swing and it just doesn't hit when it's supposed to. Then times when I play surv and I get hit at a very far distance, which also confuses the hell out of me, especially when pallet mind gaming. Even weirder that it's different for every hunter, so you have to just know it beforehand or take a risk and pray u don't get hit/terrorshocked😭
I always use Trump Card and I bring Blink or Peeper according to the map. Peeper mostly and man... Peeper helps alot for me. It can slow down the Cipher and prevent the loop kiting spots. Even if they decide to remove the peeper it gets me a little bit of time and that little time comes in clutch.
Even with cipher rush, if hunter is skilled or if survivor teammates are flopping, still lose. Like the times when I got like 2 harassers and both of them got downed so quick, or when we got rescuers with flywheel... Yeah rank is fun. So fun..

You lose the moment you get nervous after the first 3 ciphers pop. First 3 ciphers will be done quickly, especially when you are playing Night watch who doesn't really have control over ciphers, Night watch lives off of double downs and stuffed rescues, or you forget about camping and chase someone else like percy after chairing, you don't need to panic when first 3 ciphers pop cause first 3 ciphers are easy to finish especially if the first kite was far from every cipher, you just should follow one of the strategies i said, patrol the area and get double downs as well as force the after half rescue, or get extremely fast downs and forget about camping and go for ciphers. If there's no tinnitus nearby you can leave the chair and patrol half of the map near the chaired survivor, or as i said go for ciphers cause someone will have to get off the cipher to get their teammate of the chair, meanwhile you go after another survivor which leaves only 1 survivor decoding, the other way around cipher rush for fast hunters is force survivors to cipher lock themselves, it's hard but possible, saw the cipher lock change the game drastically multiple times. The only way for Night watch to prevent cipher rush is:
1) chairing on a cipher
2) don't camp and go after survivors that are decoding(you can also try and make the said survivor transition to another cipher that is being decoded, survivors run according to your position, if you are standing between them and hospital they won't transition there)
3) try to create a cipher lock situation
Btw! A little trick to try and force after half rescue, if the rescuer is greedy and wants to get the exact before half, you can time it and charge attack so they either take a ts or they rescue exactly after half.
If that was me counter: three but like ur so real for that hunter rank at season reset makes me sob and feel bad about my skills. But you can do it I believe!! (it’s also why I don’t rank at the start of the season)

Hey, ive ran into you as hunter before, and i peaked hunter cyclops, but i felt i need to clear some things, cipher rush cannot be nerfed right now, the current cipher rush is just right for hunters like opera, and dream witch, which are very broken, but for regular hunters, you have to try very very hard for wins, if you just camp chair, you usually get a loss. And also, the way you trade hits is timing it so when your animation finishes, you get stunned, so not when it starts, it take a lot of practice, but best of luck in your hunter matches, and if you need help against cipher rush i can try and help

Actually one more thing im so passive and get so concentrated on chasing one surv i do not notice anything and if it stretches out for too long my morality starts dropping and i get pissed. To the point i have to put down a timer to know how much time has passed. This actually helps remind me to look up and check cipher content. At least itll help me predict survivor movements from where theyll come to rescue, which cipher is next etc. Most times i do this i get to at leaat secure ties on really tough games. Besides that i dont know know what else to do, i always get first down when 3 ciphers pop and i just dont get it, my hunter skills should be average at worst really.
They could take away accelerated decoding for high tiers to start n see how they can adjust from there

Forget what I said before about warp; bq can actually be a good option in maps like hospital like you said so you could try to use her !! I'm not that good at bq but I'd say I'm decent, so if you need a little tutorial on how to use her I can make one!
not even trying to be biased saying this but i think you could honestly try and pick up alva. even though hes not prone to cipher rush hes still a really good learning experience when it comes to putting your awareness on that area of the game
One time in rank I played doctor and I did a 5 cipher kite (includes my first chair) but somehow the hunter got a 4 kill cause my friend rescues me (he was playing priestess) which I’m fine with when hunter got detention but the coordinator for some reason decides to shoot when I’m not being picked up not to mention I pinged Don’t rescue me and forget about saving go for the tie but guess what they tried rescuing me when they have no item and detention still got a minute left and I’m on my last chair but they still insisted on rescuing me but that results in a 4k for the hunter I don’t blame my friend cause he is playing priestess so rescuing will not be a problem but in the post match we got flamed by being “bad” while they shot the gun at the worst time possible and the lawyer tried to save me too, it was a night watch too
im quitting hunter rank until i make it back to tarantula cause i’m not in the mood with dealing cracked survivors 😭🙏
alva could help but cipher rush can still happen if they have a decoder or two esspecialy luca. like i get cipher rushed as alva even though the kite wasnt that long :/
This might just be a skill issue, but i feel like everything is reversed depending on the faction i’m playing, for example, when i’m playing survivor cipher rush is practically non existent, 50 seconds will have passed and i see a random ping “cipher machine decoding progress 12%” what do you mean 12%.. what were you doing that whole time? Counting how many pixels the cipher is made of?
Exactly. Yet when I'm hunter they're done in like, exactly 82 seconds as if they spawned on top of the cipher
