@@Blitz.Beetle Also as a hell ember player I can say the puppets sometimes think theres "nobody near" in some weird cases too and just leave right away
@@Blitz.Beetle It's true that Hell Ember's phantoms behave differently, but at the end of the day they still behave just as intended. Because of this, improving Hell Ember's AI would be a buff, not a fix. Now you could argue that Hell Ember indeed deserves a buff, and I wouldn't disagree with you... But that would be a different discussion entirely. (And netease does not like to buff off-meta characters, at most they just nerf the ones that are dominating in tournaments) On the other hand, something like the puppets getting thrown in the complete opposite direction that you're facing is something that should *absolutely* get fixed, whether Hell Ember deserves to be buffed or not. Making the phantoms have a short range was a design choice (even if not a smart one, and good luck convincing netease about this), while phantoms getting thrown in random places in the map is completely *unintenional* . ...Discussing this really is pointless though. In the end it's only up to netease, and we already know netease will do neither. So why bother.

NE should improve phantom's AI. Why did the phantom start moving to that direction? There was no other survivor remaining
If there are no survivors within a certain range of the phantom, it goes towards the nearest cipher machine/exit gate
