Reading the comments it seems some people have forgotten the year they said worst QLD team ever and how many times Qld have comeback to win. Fifita can be lazy with his fundamentals at times especially in defence, and if it's obvious to me then of course Billy would see this and have much greater insights. I think this game is a great opportunity for Billy to test his skills as a coach, and the Qld spirit!

NSW has 2 workhorse backrowers already that Fifita would be coming off the bench with Leniu and that is not something QLD would like.

Mate history shows whoever wins game 1 doesn't win game 2, one team has the mentality of the game 2 as do or die, the other only wants to win. Big difference in hunger. Just because NSW had a very good 40 minutes in game 2 NSW won't stop blowing trumpet about it. I believe if QLD win it will truly break NSW hearts.

Speed on the edges was unraveling NSW's defence unfortunately the big back rowers of the blues were trampling the small speedsters. The problem was around the ruck cotter was getting decimated by NSW. He's got a fantastic work rate but he can't compete physically with Payne Haas
I cant believe all the hate Billy is getting. Have they forgot already he 2 from 2 series and he knows what hes doing. Trust me when i say the players he has brought in are exp players who have been there and done it before and for nsw they are all dangers.

But yeah I admit those players in the 2nd half got outplayed but the 1st half every player was in a war. Billy had the players Madge had the perfect game plan and the boys executed to a T.

I think gagai was bought in for his experience and defence, Holmes got destroyed by crighton gagai should handle him better
I really don’t think QLD were that bad in game 2. I know it’s been mentioned, but more should be made of the fact that in game 2, NSW played one of the best first halves of football in not only origin history, but that I have ever seen. The fact QLD were on the back foot, made both forced and unforced errors and gave away repeat sets, was surely down to the fact that NSW were literally faultless

100% fafita is being punished for his backflip, DCE backflipped on the titans and was in the wilderness for 3 years and at the time it was reported that senior players had taken issue with his back flip. Namely slater, smith, Thurston and Inglis. Also this isn’t the first time Dave has created a contract saga. He did it in Brisbane to. So it’s not a mistake, it’s making a stand long term on what you’re about.

IAM NSW man but only my opinion Fafitta , all day in my team if I picked from both, his deverstating, crazy leave big Dave out( and Cobo, left out second game) bad move Billy, I think these two leave outs, could just get NSW over the line, but no Mitchell brings some doubt!

😂 How do we think we have the series wrapped up. We know how it is anytime we have a decider let alone a decider at suncorp so stop with the stupid comments. I'm a blues man born and bred and watched origin since I was a kid and the only way we always lose is we beat ourselves in the last 15 to 20 mins with a stupid pass or drop ball or penalty. As a Queenslander, I'm hoping and praying, but the writing is on the wall with this series. NSW is just a better Origin side. Their forwards are better in nearly every position. Sure, the Maroons have strike, but NSW is the best defensive side in their history. I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
You're not a Queenslander. It's about pride, spirit, passion and confidence. Blues have had the better side on paper almost forever... yet qld dominate origin the last 2 decades. We won the 2nd half of last game, after being embarrassed in the 1st half.
