Everyone has to understand that the older hmong generation lives this way so the younger generation have to understand listening to these story's if u dont like it you younger generations can send in your story than and maybe she have somthing new to tell, but may is doing a great job telling each and everyone's story .
Never chase after your adult kids. Let them work and make money to pay for the stuff they need themselves. It's how we as parents teach our kids to be responsible adults. Don't chase after your husband either. Make him chase after you. Dress nice and sexy, wear makeup if you have to, flirt with other guys if you have to but don't take it too far and only do it in front of your hubby to get his emotions rolling. Lol. You have to prove to him that you are still desirable. That if he dumps you, there are lots of other guys that will take you.

The doctor daughter seems very manipulative too and not very supportive of her moms happiness. In my book, a strong woman is someone who drops the loser, cheating husband the moment you know he's cheating on you, not someone who hangs around just so she can continue to use his money. There are marital laws that will help you win some of his money (child support and alimony, even some of his retirement money), and your grown ass daughter can take out loans like most students. There's no lesson to be learned from this story of two people mistreating and using each other.

I see a lot of comments saying the adult kids can support themselves, especially the Doctor daughter. As a parent and if you’re able to, you have some responsibility to support your kids’ education whatever that is. Medical school is expensive so I’m sure she didn’t pay for the whole dollar amount but rather help with a few expenses. This lady sacrificed her happiness temporarily to help her daughter through school which was her choice. In the end, she still came out winning so no big deal! And she didn’t take his money, he willingly gave it to her so she can pay the bills and raise their kids while he goes around lollygagging with other women 😒
