I'm too old to farm. NOT too old to watch! I love the drone shot of the disc work. Wow, farming!! Today is Friday, March 1st, Why not test both nozzles at the shop to see which one you like? I think the "spray" nozzle will work best. AH HA, the easiest (not easy) disc bearing to replace. You know it could have been the one on the outside end. Dad says, "you're not ready 'til you're ready" & Dad is always right.
Danial, you cracked me up dancing on that pipe wrench. I did notice a peculiar cant on that handle when the cheater bar was removed. My father-in-law always used to say HAMMER when nothing else worked. you have made my Friday gentlemen, I know it wasn't funny to all of you though.
These newer semis are a pain in the ass. Always something breaking down or a dam code. Fertilizer rig is coming coming along nicely. Nothing like working on a disk . Have a great week guys and stay safe.
I prefer the streamer nozzles for fertilizer only because they will not plug as easily and the fertilizer will not get tied up in the soil as fast. The more fertilizer is broken up it has more soil contact. The more soil contact it has the more the soil ties it up. If you are applying chemicals with fertilizer then you need to use the flat fan nozzles for uniform coverage. Happy farming!
Good Sunday morning Granny Hope all is well with you. Not saying we couldn't get a surprise, but I believe winter is over. Nice winter in Michigan Take care and stay warm !!!!
Change out the surge tank for coolant. I’m a diesel mechanic see it all the time on truck. The float in the tank is magnetic and they get suck from debris also get woren out. Tank comes with new sensor in it
Daniel, are you going to be running UAN through those cast and brass fittings? How long do you expect to run them before they corrode up too bad? I’ve never had any luck using those with fertilizer.
When we grease up in the morning we always look over the disc and that’s when I caught it, sometimes if you listen hard you can hear it to, thanks for watching 👍😁
@@TripleRFarms thanks for your response. I watch probably 50-60 farmers channels. You are one of the very few that answers all my questions. Thank you.
I swear I can’t put a face to a name, and I’ve been watching for a couple of years. Maybe you could do a cameo with names in the intro or something? Make sure your dad has his big grin he always has! Don’t forget about Lucy.😎👍 by the way, that noise I told you about under my truck was not the transmission or the parking brakes. I was having the tranny seal replaced and the mechanic noticed my yoke was pulled out of the tranny. Turns out the rear driveshaft was not sliding on the splines. They cleaned it up and put a lot of anti seize on it and so far it’s working good.
Hey Daniel, The main reason you're having so much bearing trouble is that you put waaay to much grease. We put maybe two shots in each morning before starting. When the grease runs out the bearings and that dirt get in and become sandpaper. You don't want the grease to come out the bearings. Try it
I like to grease the bearings before unhooking after last use also. I agree on the 2 shot limit on disk bearings. I didn't see the type grease you are using but never use moly grease on any bearing. The moly will take a bearing out!!
The disks are really turning the soil. Dad is always thinking. Good morning, Granny.
Another great video! Your videos are a sanity break from the insane world we live in.
Thanks for the content.
Keep on farming and stay safe.

Always something to work on.
A quick tip,set the wrench end in the ground and lower the disc.
Or a come-along works too.

Good video Daniel. When your dad said Rope a dope Muhammad Ali was the first thing that came to mind. Good morning Granny 🔆
Best open ever. Grease is cheap. Wear is dear.
That was all fun and interesting but I still like the moo cow best! 😂

Lots of horsepower fixing that plow. Stay safe and good luck
Fixing the bearing on the disc tiller when they had to get the bearing off. Thats the funny part
18:54 🤣🤣 " it's called 3 horsepower"🤠
Good morning granny From Michigan 👍👍
Amazing talent , team work getting the job done stay safe .
It’s crazy the farm does all that work with 3 tractors
What's deal with the cattle are they wild or got loose from the pen
Met your dad today at the gin show. Recognized him from all the videos.
When do you start planting corn 🌽
Granny Good Morning 🎉! Great video Daniel!!
Looks like a bad coolant sensor on the Pete!
That's a great wrench dance that u do
3 horse power! 😂😂😂
ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO DANIEL 😊

Daniel, how can you tell a bearing is going out from the cab of a running tractor under power?

Do you have heads up on your new truck ?

Thx for making the video.
you always need a plan Daniel lol lol
My days plan themselves it always seems. Dad used to say if there ain’t another day you don’t need it anyway
I see both you and your dad have the multi function tail gate but I never see them used. You you find them to be a wasted option?
Good morning Granny have a great day
It's your temp sensor bottom of the reservoir Unplug take a paperclip jump it across stop the buzz
couldnt you hitch rolling basket behind disk.
Why are your tractor tires so skinny?
Coolant level sensor is magnetic and they are junk. Unplug sensor and jam a wire to cross two wires out or replace sensor
Looks real wet Daniel. Hope it dries up quick for u.
Coolant sensor bad or wire bad on that Peterbilt. My bet is bad sensor.
Howdy triple R farms
happy Friday Granny
Good morning Granny

I agree 2-3 pumps in big sealed bearings and we do it 1 - 2 a season and I never have the bearings fail on our disks.
I like to grease the bearings before unhooking after last use also. I agree on the 2 shot limit on disk bearings. I didn't see the type grease you are using but never use moly grease on any bearing. The moly will take a bearing out!!
All peterbuilts do that at least the ones my company runs, coolant level sensors are junk
Check the ground pin on the Pete
THANKS!
Change the water reservoir sensor
Always hated fixing disc bearings, they're all the same!!!
Try screwing the tube off the grease gun first. Then pull the T handle out and erase it
🔥man you sure have some nice dirt out there. Good work every body 🔥👊🔥🏍⚙️🔨🚜
I see you guys over tighten everything and you don't use anti seize enough on bolts nuts and threads stuff you need to tighten up
are you sure you guys know how to farm i had a guy tell me that you tubers dont know what they are doing
