Just got the whole family in to watch this...as always mike...it's a FANTASTIC watch with perfect music choices and a great entertaining edit. LOVE your vids mate...very envious! 🙏❤
Thank you for this video, has got me very excited for Saturday. I watched your other videos too on Flaine. Been to lots of other ski resorts but not this one. Thanks again! 😊
Hi Mike ..Wondering about ski passes for beginners.. for a family of 5 ages 8-14 kids is it worth getting all grand massive ski passes for 6 days? Or just Flaine passes? Also can you just use the lifts to look around the grand massive and maybe not ski it all? Never been before so it’s all new !
Hi Sarah, if you’re staying in Flaine it’s probably worth adding the extra Grand massif region on, from memory the difference isn’t that big. It can be tricky to get over for beginners but it is possible if snow conditions good. You can access the main bubble lift to the top as a foot passenger, but I’m not sure you can on the standard chair lifts. Hope that’s all helpful, have a wonderful time!
Looks amazing. I've done all the major resorts but I've been looking for more affordable options this last few years and Flaine looks like a great mix of slopes. Booked for March so let's hope this year's great snow fall continues.
Great video and very useful!... We are going to Flaine in Feb. As a family of novice skiers how would you suggest is the easiest runs to first explore the villages after using the Grands Vans lift?
There is a tricky bottleneck getting across to the villages from Flaine that can’t be avoided. But if the snow is good you should be fine. Follow the blues and you’ll be fine, have a great time!
Another great trip for you guys, I’ve enjoyed watching again and I’ve now booked for next year - Les carroz this time to do that plein solieil 👍🏻heard it’s recommended by those that know ⛷🏔 cheers Mike
0:11 bro is having some difficult time getting of the chairlift
🤣🤣. Good spot 👏🏻👏🏻.. I’ll be honest, I thought twice about including this clip. Felt I was doing the guy dirty 😬. Hopefully they can forgive me 🙏🏻
Excellent yet again. Brilliant resort. My first ski holiday was in Flaine. 👏

Fabulous thanks Mike… also is there a place you can recommend for ski rentals? We are staying at Helios…
Work of art as ever Mike. No idea how you find the time to put this amazing content together but appreciated as we all enjoy watching. Great stuff.
Thanks Tom 🙏🏼☺️

The grand massif is quite an expansive area, I’m sure you’ll have a great time… enjoy!
Great video. Thanks
Very welcome Phil. If you’re heading out to Flaine soon, I hope you have a great time

Great vid, what time of year did you go? And what year?
thanks! this was in April 2022
Great video Mike. Snow looked amazing! What month was this filmed in?
Thanks Ade 🙏🏻. This was filmed at the beginning of April 2022, first week of the Easter break.
Wow! That's some amazing snow for that time of year! We are heading to Samoens in early March, so fingers crossed for some of the same 🤞🤞
If she does gold star, she can move on to one called Freestyle, with ESF. But for my first time, after gold, it was extremely entertaining but scary.
thanks! we'll try that :)
