The main verses the first time feels like a declaration from sonic, the goat sonic to shin. like "running from the past is a losing game, it never brings you glory" and all that. Like, hes seen it all, lost it all, done it all. BUT what caught me off guard was the timing of shins transformation and the repeat of that part. It felt like shin acknowledging and mocking the sentiment. Almost like some silly billy fnf mirror type shit.
Only reason sonic didnt lose here is because it was probably frontiers sonic who has shown much greater strength stats then the 32 bit counter part has which for the record doesnt change much but still since he has survived getting crushed between two big objects unlike there counter part and even telekinesis when he picked up the sword without touching it and counter attacked
