Every cents spent on awareness, workshops etc would've been used to funds seawalls only...once the main island secure (electric lines, water pipes, man road etc) we can then get back to these social awareness programs and related activities (disease monitoring project etc) but right now all we urgently need strong-enough seawalls. I know u thinking now about how to maintain such seawalls...please don't worry about that, we'll always find a way and cant but details in here
To make this happen quickly, President is the only man who should be able to channel all these funds to this critical need and doing it simply means he meant what continually saying abt CC ("we need action right now ..."). What does KAP III doing ? pls update on KAP III activities .
we keep repeating ourselves that CC is actually happening and we need to put strategies into action rather than keep saying it. A very direct solution before all these training/workshops/film makings/meetings etc is to build a seawall that completely surround S.Tarawa. Realistically, with this kind of culture, lifestyle and behavior (in Kiribati) workshops won't work and wont getting us anywhere.
