I believe the reason it’s called Deltarune painted is because there is a Pizza Tower called Pizza Tower Repainted which heavily memes all the game graphics just like this mod
So called "repainted" mods have actually been around for a while, especially in ROM hacks (eg. Mario Sunshine Repainted). Most of them are pretty entertaining, definitely would recommend checking some out.
@@soulite2574repainted projects are pretty much dead now because someone in the group decided to be a terrible person and it ruined the morale of the rest of them.
