Love that fuckin' levergun, man. What a high bar you've set. The action is A+ tier but I just have to say; I haven't seen cutscenes quite as compelling as what you've done here. There's so much fluff animation, interesting backgrounds, the plot ain't bad to follow along with and it establishes stakes. Drastically powerful use of cinema, evolving the animations beyond a spectacle of violence (that's not to say the violence/choreography here isn't on the same high shelf). Good shit dude.
I like how skilled and competent A.T.P. Soldat really are, but also shows how much of a menace and dangerous Hank is if he barely struggles while fighting soldats.
Honestly it's always so upsetting seeing elite enemies like soldats get wiped like any other, this series has done well showing how resilient, dextrous, and intelligent elites should be.
Seeing a Soldat, MOVE like a super soldier gets me feeling good. As they're told to be these ALL SCARY SOLDIERS. But are just push arounds in most animations no more stronger then a grunt in most cases. Competent Soldat's you can tell just by their movements, Nick knacks do all the work for them, they're just along for the ride.
reminds me of the soldats you fight in madness melee (great game and its free to download) and they actually put up a dangerous fight unless you have a blade type weapon and you are actually upgraded
I was rooting for the two detectives after seeing the level of skill they had last episode. Just goes to show how dangerous the ATP Soldats really are. Fantastic animation. Looking forward to part 4.
They were simply rinse off'ed for the sake of a dramatic end to the battle, for the sake of continuing the plot detective ignored his partner when he could at the speed of light (like all the main characters) recapture weapons from the ATP, but in this plot line, the detective clearly does not have a plot shield

Theres a tiny detail at 3:35 where he throws the knife, it causes the vent to get stuck and stop moving. This animation is god tier. I just realized someone else found it first, still happy i found it myself tho.
However, there are also shortcomings. In the scene with the Soldat and the griezer in red, the drinks on the table disappear when the angle changes. In the same scene, the cartridge case appears out of nowhere. After this scene, when the Soldat opens the door, there is no blood on his knife, but in the next frame it is there. The enemies appear between shots - a little after the exit with knives and upstairs at the door of the first witness. Enemies who either go into battle without weapons or do not use firearms, like a policeman after a beautiful murder of a policeman with a machine gun or like detectives who did not touch a lying shotgun. Or moving corpses. The Patova's killed by Victor move away from the mess when the Soldat leaves the motel, or that grizer with a hammer - he literally teleports after changing the angle to the Soldat.
soldats in madness were never dumb, in the original series hank was just really good. it shouldn't come as a surprise that they are way more impressive when fighting against thugs and police officers

6:25, I felt that detectives pure anger. The ATP killed one of his allies and literally HIT him with his corpse. Lore accurate ATP's are truly threatening. Which makes Hank an even scarier menace.
@@pestilentanger Not the sprites themselves, but my characters goggles are highly likely a huge inspiration, even has the same stripes on the side of the straps and trapezoid like shape on top of the goggles
@@RandomPerson-lu8ln Could be, but the way the straps are, how they are straight over the goggles but angled to the sides under them, they have the trapezoid like shape with a dent in them, the lines on the strap, the darker lines that go paralell with the straps, dont think they were just inspired by double-dats in my humble opinion
one thing i haven't seen commented yet is the fucking SOUND DESIGN. i dont know who did it, but if you did all of it by yourself i gotta seriously give you props for making everything sound so impactful and punchy, and GOD i love those bullet whizz sounds, not nearly enough people make use of them. i hope to work with you again on a project someday, learning from such a creative person is something i need to do more of lovely work, Ben.
If it was possible to marry an animation, this would be the one. Once again, seeing the AAHW being an actual force to be reckoned with, not to mention seeing a FULLY fleshed out Soldat flex his combat prowess brings me so much joy and satisfaction, absolutely unreal. I love that there are actual stakes and plot, and this is probably me repeating a lot that has been said, but you’ve truly set the bar for peak Madness animations going forward. 10/10, well done as always!!!

Awesome work! I love how the officer at 4:52 gets pissed when a civilian gets killed and how the eyebrows on some of the characters convey so much expression.
THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE MADNESS ANIMATION! The soldats have always been my favorite characters and i’m so glad that there’s finally an animation where the main character is a soldat, and the quality of this one is the best man!
The movement, the violence, EVERYTHING, was awesome and violence. And its a real shame to see those detectives die off but it shows how dangerous the ATP can be.
Close quarters combat focusing on actual fighting ability over gun skill is something that only recently in the last few years started to get more and more jazzed in the timeline of madness animation. And your presentation of it is one of the best!! Between this and Feelings 2, your animations show what feels like personalized fighting styles to each class of character - from the amateur brutality of the gangsters to the grizzled and toughened street fighting of the cops to the trained and precise agency. It's frankly incredible (and difficult!) to animate combat where the melee is the focus and the guns are set aside for a moment. An amazing animation for a later celebration of madness day!
Everyone is appreciating how strong this shows Soldat potential but I love how this shows how deadly The Agency actually is and how lethal they can be, makes sense how they conquered most of Nevada

Oh my, oh my. There are so so many things I love in this animation. From the way he enters the city, the finesse with which he dances around the bullets, the lack of mercy and deadly effectiveness he shows. Great work, really. I've rewatched it like 7 times already.

Trivia (sort of) #2: 0:36 You can see the improbability drive on the background 0:41 you can see all sorts of things The events take place in the 22nd of September (madness day) of 2085 On the right we can see a message of what appears to be tower of Bavel telling the agency and any other people to not mess with reality and stuff 0:58 If you wonder, these scenes are newly animated, you can see that by new weapon sprites and etc. The police scene uses the bg of the s*x ad scene The scene with victor uses the background of the first gunfight scene Apparently victor was caught and taken a photo of during the events of feelings 2? (yes ik that he was caught, just no way that he was taken a photo of whatever) 1:36 you can see a crate labeled "heavy weapons" and another crate with bullpup assault rifles with covered mags (nice attention to detail) 1:47 sadly couldn't see what was written on the engineer's board 2:08 agent screwing with the grunt, really love those parts as they show the ranks and stuff yk 2:40 you can see the weapons company that was used across madness animations, this really adds to the plot 2:56 rush city 2 ads, still there after a year of making 3:15 maybe a reference to romp.fla 3:17 the agency calls their enemies sinners 3:32 throwing knifes appearing out of nowhere 4:01 victor lore Infinite ammo shotgun 5:57 The detectives get visually surprised when the soldat pulls out a shotgun 7:00 there are only 18 employees on post That means that 400 people left their post 18 people also might be the arriving agents Overall there are less secrets and easter eggs, but i don't find that as a bad thing. The author had way more time to spend his time on the animations. Amazing animation, really hyped to see Feelings 4!
This isn't just an amination, this is straight up art. The smoothness and choreography is top tier. Alongside interesting lore. Also really wanted to mention that sprites of... everything (Grunts, Guns, Gore) is just superb, everything looks so beautiful, just joy to look at. Tuvster you're doing a very amazing work! :] Really hyped to see what will happen in 4th episode!
Also small detail i really liked, is when an injured cop (at 5:15) was horrified of action around him the entire time. Like: Dodge the blade from Patova member, cover his face when cop with handgun showed up and so on. It's just so rare to see a terrified character in madness animations nowdays
3:04 - 3:55 this ATP Commander gave such brutality over the Greasers and Guards without bloody mercy... Not even a skilled or talented Greaser can stand up to the ATP's skills despite their handsome looking appearances
Great work! I like how each faction has their uniqueness in terms of interactions, looks, and weaponry. I also like how elites are actually acting the way they are supposed to be (soldat and the detectives)
Dude, the multitude of those different perspective shots is sick as hell, I liked this shift to the Soldat's POV just going to town on the mob and cops alike.
I love the way you make each character in the story have some amount of connections with others. Even though it may be little. Also this was one of the best madness combat animations I've ever seen, and the colorful style it has makes it visibly different than the Nexus city.
this is, hands down, one of THE best fan animations ive ever seen in madness the visuals, the fluid movements, the close-up shots, EVERYTHING about this is absolutely stunning that i cant find more words to fully describe it
My favorite part of the soldat vs the detectives fight is how the detectives take a second or two to recover from the soldats hit like when the white shirt got hit in the nose but when the soldat gets hit in the back of the head by a baton he barely flinches
Without doubt one of the best animations of the year, along with "Soul Madness 3.5: AFTERMATH ACT II" by Kanp. So, as usual, I'm going to divide my review into positive and negative points. Let's start with the positives. - I like the fact that even before the action, you take the time to explain the purpose of A.A.H.W. at the start of the animation (0:42). I also like the news bulletin where we see Victor and the police fighting the mafia. - The enemies manage to remain competent by dodging certain blows, as for example at 3:32; 4:12 or again at 6:01. I love the soldat's fight against the two detectives at 5:49, I thought the fight was going to be quick and the soldat was going to kill them in one go, but to my surprise they fought back well (it's cool that the detectives are surprised when the soldat points his gun at them). - The background are as good as ever, there's nothing to complain about. The background at 2:29 is by far the best. - The soldat as the main character is pretty amazing. I like the fact that he's competent and ruthless, not hesitating to attack even civilians to accomplish his mission (4:38 and 4:51). The fluidity with which he executes his acrobatic moves is brilliant. It’s quite funny that the soldat feels an ""emotion"" when an agent tries to give him an S&W 500 at 2:39. - The dialogue boxes are nice - The effects add a very original touch to the series, I like the cartoonish feel, for example at 4:56. It's also great that you put in some slow-motion effects at 3:40. - I like that you take risks to create different angles, like at 4:53. - Weapon design is cool. - Most enemies have a very unique design, what I mean is that each enemy will have an additional thing that differentiates them from others, for example, a policeman who wears glasses, another who has a beard or mustache or the fact that most enemies have different clothes. - Quite rare to see voice acting in a madness animation, I hope you will keep this idea for the next episode (2:42). Now, the negatives (most of them are minimal). - I know that normally this is supposed to be a positive point, but I think that some enemies are underexploited, for example at 3:10 the Greaser dies quite easily I would have liked him to defend himself a little more, the same at 4:11. - It’s a bit of a killjoy to say, but it’s a shame that Mush Prum (the guy who did the cover art of the 2 previous episodes) couldn’t cover this episode, he really has a unique style. - I would have liked to have learned a little more about what I imagine to be the main antagonist of the series at 7:43. - There is a small error on the background at 0:22, normally there is a thing marked on the neon (If you don’t understand what I’m saying go see Feeling 1.5 and go to 2:58) - At 5:40, the soldat has a baseball bat on his back, but seconds later he no longer has it (5:43). Now, the list of things I noticed. - The series takes place in 2085 (At 1:05 it is written 22/09/2085 on the computer). - it’s really funny that the agent wearing an eye patch has become a sort of recurring character (1:14). - An agent disguised as a policeman at 2:05. - Backgrounds at 2:30 refer to the first episode of Feeling. - I don’t know why Hank’s glasses are there. (at 3:07) - I know it’s a strange question, but the background at 3:07 and 3:30 are hotel rooms? - I like the fact that throughout the series the soldat remembers that there must be no witnesses (2:47; 5:10 and 4:38). - It’s cool that the police officer is trying to "protect" a civilian at 4:50. - At 5:49 we see the soldat pointing his yellow eyepieces at the two detectives, I know this may sound stupid, but is this a reference to madness combat 9.5, when Hank mocks a soldat for having a single eye ? Phew, this review is finally over. I can’t wait to see the next episode my friends:)

You did it once again, the absolute GOAT of Madness animations. You've once again shown just how fucking much one person can accomplish given the time. I can't speak for everyone, but I am absolutely OK with the length being shorter than 2, because this has been some of the most detailed, polished, and creative combat I've seen in a madness cartoon. It's all the little things that make a huge impact, like the different angles the camera goes into, the smooth transitions between scenery. It all comes together so well that I can't even comprehend the amount of work and pain that went into this, being an amateur madness animator myself. Either way, thank you for continuing to be a huge inspiration to me when it comes to art and animation, I wish you the best of luck for your future endeavors once Feelings finally concludes.
Awesome to watch an animation from the perspective of the AAHW. I also loved the action that the Soldat got to have instead of dying right away, awesome stuff! I'm really hoping to see those Half-Mags in action. I love them a lot.

I love retro city because the gap in skill from Agency to the Police force way refreshing. The competence of the barely armored detectives was nice to see because to me it was so unexpected.
Man, i love the 80's Miami feels this gives off, everything is so animated which yeah, its an animation, but how the soldiers flip and move, do gun tricks, or even slightly breathing, flinching in pain. Along eith the still frams, the text boxes, or kill shots having that 80's synth-way background. I love it, keep it up man, i cant wait to see how this series goes forward and ends in a grand fashion, this is honestly one of the best animations i have seen in a long while.
i really forgot how Strong Soldat unit are, cause we're all know they're nothing againts hank, but in this animation, you did some justice for their skill mate, bravo man.

The movement, the violence, EVERYTHING, was awesome and violence. And its a real shame to see those detectives die off but it shows how dangerous the ATP can be.
This was really good, the sfx is really well put together.
Close quarters combat focusing on actual fighting ability over gun skill is something that only recently in the last few years started to get more and more jazzed in the timeline of madness animation. And your presentation of it is one of the best!! Between this and Feelings 2, your animations show what feels like personalized fighting styles to each class of character - from the amateur brutality of the gangsters to the grizzled and toughened street fighting of the cops to the trained and precise agency. It's frankly incredible (and difficult!) to animate combat where the melee is the focus and the guns are set aside for a moment. An amazing animation for a later celebration of madness day!
Everyone is appreciating how strong this shows Soldat potential but I love how this shows how deadly The Agency actually is and how lethal they can be, makes sense how they conquered most of Nevada

This isn't just an amination, this is straight up art. The smoothness and choreography is top tier. Alongside interesting lore. Also really wanted to mention that sprites of... everything (Grunts, Guns, Gore) is just superb, everything looks so beautiful, just joy to look at. Tuvster you're doing a very amazing work! :]

Also small detail i really liked, is when an injured cop (at 5:15) was horrified of action around him the entire time.
Like: Dodge the blade from Patova member, cover his face when cop with handgun showed up and so on. It's just so rare to see a terrified character in madness animations nowdays

Dude, the multitude of those different perspective shots is sick as hell, I liked this shift to the Soldat's POV just going to town on the mob and cops alike.
I love the way you make each character in the story have some amount of connections with others. Even though it may be little. Also this was one of the best madness combat animations I've ever seen, and the colorful style it has makes it visibly different than the Nexus city.

this is, hands down, one of THE best fan animations ive ever seen in madness
the visuals, the fluid movements, the close-up shots, EVERYTHING about this is absolutely stunning that i cant find more words to fully describe it
My favorite part of the soldat vs the detectives fight is how the detectives take a second or two to recover from the soldats hit like when the white shirt got hit in the nose but when the soldat gets hit in the back of the head by a baton he barely flinches
This is the most underrated MC animation, that I've ever seen...
Without doubt one of the best animations of the year, along with "Soul Madness 3.5: AFTERMATH ACT II" by Kanp.
So, as usual, I'm going to divide my review into positive and negative points.
Let's start with the positives.
- I like the fact that even before the action, you take the time to explain the purpose of A.A.H.W. at the start of the animation (0:42).
I also like the news bulletin where we see Victor and the police fighting the mafia.
- The enemies manage to remain competent by dodging certain blows, as for example at 3:32; 4:12 or again at 6:01.
I love the soldat's fight against the two detectives at 5:49, I thought the fight was going to be quick and the soldat was going to kill them in one go, but to my surprise they fought back well (it's cool that the detectives are surprised when the soldat points his gun at them).
- The background are as good as ever, there's nothing to complain about.
The background at 2:29 is by far the best.
- The soldat as the main character is pretty amazing.
I like the fact that he's competent and ruthless, not hesitating to attack even civilians to accomplish his mission (4:38 and 4:51). The fluidity with which he executes his acrobatic moves is brilliant.
It’s quite funny that the soldat feels an ""emotion"" when an agent tries to give him an S&W 500 at 2:39.
- The dialogue boxes are nice
- The effects add a very original touch to the series, I like the cartoonish feel, for example at 4:56.
It's also great that you put in some slow-motion effects at 3:40.
- I like that you take risks to create different angles, like at 4:53.
- Weapon design is cool.
- Most enemies have a very unique design, what I mean is that each enemy will have an additional thing that differentiates them from others, for example, a policeman who wears glasses, another who has a beard or mustache or the fact that most enemies have different clothes.
- Quite rare to see voice acting in a madness animation, I hope you will keep this idea for the next episode (2:42).
Now, the negatives (most of them are minimal).
- I know that normally this is supposed to be a positive point, but I think that some enemies are underexploited, for example at 3:10 the Greaser dies quite easily I would have liked him to defend himself a little more, the same at 4:11.
- It’s a bit of a killjoy to say, but it’s a shame that Mush Prum (the guy who did the cover art of the 2 previous episodes) couldn’t cover this episode, he really has a unique style.
- I would have liked to have learned a little more about what I imagine to be the main antagonist of the series at 7:43.
- There is a small error on the background at 0:22, normally there is a thing marked on the neon (If you don’t understand what I’m saying go see Feeling 1.5 and go to 2:58)
- At 5:40, the soldat has a baseball bat on his back, but seconds later he no longer has it (5:43).
Now, the list of things I noticed.
- The series takes place in 2085 (At 1:05 it is written 22/09/2085 on the computer).
- it’s really funny that the agent wearing an eye patch has become a sort of recurring character (1:14).
- An agent disguised as a policeman at 2:05.
- Backgrounds at 2:30 refer to the first episode of Feeling.
- I don’t know why Hank’s glasses are there.
(at 3:07)
- I know it’s a strange question, but the background at 3:07 and 3:30 are hotel rooms?
- I like the fact that throughout the series the soldat remembers that there must be no witnesses (2:47; 5:10 and 4:38).
- It’s cool that the police officer is trying to "protect" a civilian at 4:50.
- At 5:49 we see the soldat pointing his yellow eyepieces at the two detectives, I know this may sound stupid, but is this a reference to madness combat 9.5, when Hank mocks a soldat for having a single eye ?

You did it once again, the absolute GOAT of Madness animations. You've once again shown just how fucking much one person can accomplish given the time. I can't speak for everyone, but I am absolutely OK with the length being shorter than 2, because this has been some of the most detailed, polished, and creative combat I've seen in a madness cartoon. It's all the little things that make a huge impact, like the different angles the camera goes into, the smooth transitions between scenery. It all comes together so well that I can't even comprehend the amount of work and pain that went into this, being an amateur madness animator myself. Either way, thank you for continuing to be a huge inspiration to me when it comes to art and animation, I wish you the best of luck for your future endeavors once Feelings finally concludes.
Awesome to watch an animation from the perspective of the AAHW. I also loved the action that the Soldat got to have instead of dying right away, awesome stuff! I'm really hoping to see those Half-Mags in action. I love them a lot.

I love retro city because the gap in skill from Agency to the Police force way refreshing. The competence of the barely armored detectives was nice to see because to me it was so unexpected.
Man, i love the 80's Miami feels this gives off, everything is so animated which yeah, its an animation, but how the soldiers flip and move, do gun tricks, or even slightly breathing, flinching in pain. Along eith the still frams, the text boxes, or kill shots having that 80's synth-way background.
I love it, keep it up man, i cant wait to see how this series goes forward and ends in a grand fashion, this is honestly one of the best animations i have seen in a long while.
