That's exactly what I heard. He did not approve of Jackie O for surgery. Another doctor did. Personally, I don't want any doctor in that practice touching me.
But him being the operating Surgeon has to do some checks as he claims.
Too bad women are so obsessed with having a “perfect” body that we are taking risks for something that is not a necessity to live. Of course he had to make a statement like this, otherwise he will lose clients. He is trying to keep his nose clean and his wallet fat.

Well, we really don't know if either doctor did anything wrong. We don't know if the patient (Jacky Oh) had an alcoholic beverage, any type of drug including gummies - maybe to celebrate or to help sleep, or something freaky occurred. However, the bible says that no one dies before their time. Jacky Oh's time, place & way of death was predestined at her birth. It is important to understand what happened to her in order to help others in the future. This was just an awful thing to happen to her husband and children who now must go on without her. Smh.

That is not what I heard. I heard (Dr. Zach) physician stating clearly that when he examines and test all patient’s they must receive a second opinion from their own physician of choice. If the two medical reports by both physicians are not in alignment, in agreement, on one accord then the procedure would not take place. What he is stating is perhaps something happened after her procedure. In addition, he made mention that he performed 2,000 surgeries previously in which none resulted in death. This physician requires a second opinion and clearance to ensure he’s not overlooking anything that could cause complications. Nonetheless, something went wrong somewhere and that’s a fact! But, this is what I heard him state! We have heard time and time again that the aftercare is just as important as the surgery. My heart goes out to beautiful Jacky Oh, and her family. I still can’t believe this happened. RIP 💔
All surgeries carry a certain risk and complications including death. It is unfortunate she suffered complications that resulted in her death.God is always in control. RIP 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Being in the dermatology (surgery & wound care) field over 10+ years, there are 2 sides, the Doctor/Surgeon & the patient. Neither can force the surgery. All doctors & surgeons have the right to decline a procedure or surgery. The patient has the right to seek another surgeon either within that same practice or at another one. There is a ton of paperwork involved & within that paperwork - it is stated that there may be a high risk for infections, death, etc. The patient DOES NOT have to sign these papers to give consent, therefore the surgery will be cancelled & that patient is not forced into the surgery, it is their own free will to sign the papers & proceed with the surgery. However, the surgeon should also decline the surgery if the patient does not meet the requirements. Unfortunately, there are surgeons will perform the surgery anyway because they want to get paid. Cosmetic surgeries of any kind, are NOT covered by insurance.
This is why women shouldn’t be getting surgery. The surgeons don’t care about your well being. His eyes look so dark and cold.
Don’t forget about the men. They get surgery too

Any surgery is RISKY. If all the PRE-OP screening is thoroughly done, there is still a possibility of COMPLICATION, Is it NEGLIGENCE on a doctor or just un for seen event ???

Why aren’t BOTH doctors equally responsible for medical passes for elective surgeries. That edict is was completely emotionless. Both doctors should loose their licences. Someone has lost their life, people should loved that person have had their entire lives shattered at the end of the day. I send my love to those people and I’m sorry for your loss.
See what happens is one doctor will denie you and women will keep going until they get a yes! However the speculations against this doctor obvious because if he disapproved he shouldn’t have done it!!!!

Everyone knows that the surgery is high risk
It’s no ones fault. It’s an inherent risk. I stand with the surgeon. Ppl need to goggles the procedure and see how fat embolism, clots etc can dislodge. Now had he punctured her diaphragm, liver etc than he would be to blame. But emboli can be slow developing.
I’ve seen 100’s of these surgeries
When ppl die, folks always try to place blame everywhere except for the individual in the coffin. This is the case here.

But, the doctor would be the blame as well, especially if..he screwed up..during surgery, & if he operates on someone..that hasn’t been cleared for surgery.
You heard he has bad reviews and you still stand with him. After such a drastic surgery she should be in the care of nurses for atleast days before he cleared her. There are measures u can take to prevent embolism.
honestly he does have a right to defend himself , before every surgery you do sign papers that you are aware there's a chance you can diiee basically . however it does sound like there was a oversight on his part , if I was DC I would get this investigated deeper , if for nothing to save another woman in the future

Listen, as much as I love MsJackyOh, I wish she was still here but she’s in a better place...She was such a beautiful girl and a great mother... people have to understand that we all have a time to go.. It was Jacky's time.. NO one can stop when God is ready for us.. If God wasn't ready for her, she would still be here..

He is not heartless. Professional mind thought has to be considered. Surgery not life saving is putting your life at risk. If she took vanity above due dilligence the doctor is not to blamed. Kanyes mother died from unnecessary surgery. Again you want the man to cry for you? Please. That makes him look as if he has done something wrong.
Tears and showing remorse because someone dies at your hands is not an admission of guilt but a display that he has humanity and cares for his patients. Him being a Brown graduate, he could’ve made a more compassionate statement as opposed to this ad.
He lacks compassion. It’s just business to him. Sadly most of these so called medical field workers are just like him.

If the surgery(s) required a medical clearance from a Primary Care Physician or a 2nd party in addition to himself and the document states that she has not been cleared by a Physician for whatever reason, He has to accept Responsibility for his Actions. What is the purpose in requiring a Medical Report from said Doctor if you're going to Override their Professional Opinion?
The surgery that Jackie had encompassing a number of procedures that may have been performed by other Surgeons as well while she was under the Anaesthetic. However he was the Primary Surgeon, she was his Patient. He needs to go back to being quiet because he is not helping himself with Comments like this.
This is a Major Surgery and I don't understand for the life of me why they send people home the same day. They should be required to observe the patient for 24 hours after their procedure and then discharge them if there is no Fever or any other Complications. Sometimes people need to be Rushed back into Surgery and it Saves Lives if they are still in the Hospital. This is a Tragic, I still can't believe that she's gone. So Young and leaving behind 3 Babies. 😢
He may need to get duplicate recommendations; if he continues.

How tf he feels he's not responsible and then try to blame it on the other doctor if there was a physical exam done .so what is he for ,he was supposed to catch what the other doctor didn't. Come on now he's full of it he should do a physicals too on his patients u are negligent too u performed surgery off of another docs opinion if there was one .He is not off the hook he shouldn't be practicing with his track record
Moral of the story: whatever you were born with or added due to overeating, poor diet if it was not due to a health issue stop trying to modify because too many people are dying for using uncaring, unlicensed, and unholy people. Keep what God gave you and walk and exercise and eat right to get healthy…your life depends on you making good choices!!
I don’t know what her health issues were but I do know if you have issues you have to be approved by the doctor that handles that issue. For example I have a relative who was scheduled for surgery and her cardiologist and neurologist both had to approve her for surgery. I hate this happened to her and I don’t like the way the doctor is handling it. It’s like he’s using it as an opportunity to advertise for new patients.
