    Meeting halfway between Composer and Instrument! Beautifully said.

    Great patch! This is how I've been composing/sequencing with the modular for the last year or so - everything and the kitchen sink goes into a bipolar mixer - however I take that output into a quantizer before hitting the DPO 1/v input. Being able to blend all those disparate voltages together into a melody (or not!) is one of the things that really makes modular synthesis special to me

    A-mazing sounds! Love your matter-of-fact description of how you're creating the sounds of the universe giggling with the gods.
    Love, love, love your channel and your magical panels!
    THANK YOU!

    I own a lot of instruments, classical and electronic, but the Black & Gold Shared System holds a very special place in my heart. This vid illustrates some of the reasons why.

    probably my favorite make noise tutorial and gosh i've watched them all pretty much

    Literally my favourite patch ever! Always felt like my grasp on the different 'states' of voltage was a little unsure - now I realise I was intuiting the fact that it's all the same 'stuff' (as this video makes clear). Thank you so much for posting this - it's such a powerful showcase for modular.

    The all black shared system is so damn attractive looking.

    Literally one of the best patches and demonstrations I've ever seen. LOVE IT. Thanks so much for posting this. Xx

    Ha! At first when ha said: "Ground up sequencing" I was thinking hamburger. Now I can't un-hear it. Sliced and dices waveforms. Thanks for the video. Great as always.;

    Great and shows again with a few modules and creative connections you get soundcosms so fast and fun aright and still so much potential in the whole system let’s me open the cover and switch on this bss

    Who is the person speaking? I like the clarity and purpose of his thinking (and the patch).

    Interesting--I guess you could also use a sequencer into maths instead of Tempi for some similar results, especially if you're changing the values or setting them at random for cv/gate?

    I truly understand your little video is stuck in the path of your own singularity but there is so many possibilities than this archaic time loop
