Thanks as always, it is appreciated that you share the details and fill in the gaps with the back story.. Pleased to hear your update on 111PB, moreover sorry for the hassles he has felt, absolutely not deserved. He has a style that is uniquely wonderful, and like yourself a very capable, inspiring builder, and as I have previously posted on his channel I envy his garden and the way he has developed it, pure joy.. I continue to implent tips and tricks from him, and you and always feel inspired to by your joint enthusiasm for the hobby, fortunately the vids are timeless and will always delight.. Right.. I'm gone.. Please pass on my thanks for his contribution to the hobby and the time and patience shown by you both and the chemistry you both share.. I'm gone.. 😅
Hi Ian,thanks for that, please pass on my best regards to Tim,I've never met the man but have always said to myself it would be a joy to drive with him. You're a lucky chap as I watched the tipper run last night with your green tipper and Tim with the Scania. Enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the reply mate it is appreciated. Oh and Tim's twin steering Merc is a lovely truck,I did look at doing my fh12 with a tag or second steer but if I start it now it probably won't get done,my heads not in a good place after the wife passing last year. Keep up the good work Ian,and here's another old trucker that will watch these vids as it's interesting and gives me ideas for my trucks. Derrick.
@@derrickmanning2597 I will pass it on, (twin steering Mercedes???) and not many (if any in this hobby) have met him And I’d like to say he’s the lucky one 😂😂😂
Yeah the the one in the video the 6*2 with the steerable mid axle and 1850 cab. I also thought if a mid lift axle and have it where it's up all the time but lowers when I connect a trailer, bit of work and thought to that one😅. Hope you're having a nice day, nice bit of sunshine for a change down here in Somerset! May run the freightliner up after tea with it's original shell tanker in the back, also a work in progress!
@@IanSparksRC well mines an original 1992 king hauler with a 1992 shell tanker, inside the sleeper is the original light system with the four grain of wheat bulbs and LEDs for the indicators and brake lights! There's a main board and two other boards for the front lights and running lights and the rears. I was surprised when I found it all to be working as it had been 'dumped in a shed' over ten years ago, actually came from London strangely and it cost me £150 for the lot with £20 postage,oh it had the original esc Rx combi on 27mhz,the only thing the lad couldn't find was the tx! And even the esc works fine. I still have a few bits to do like the pipework at the rear and ladder are all missing, but I've managed to add 5 led lights to the rear of the sleeper as side lights cos tamiya didn't! And I've wired the trailer lights to work directly from the light unit via the switches on the back of the cab,no din lead for trailer lights so I had to do it the hard way lol.
I do really like what you’ve done with this one
Thanks for sharing
Thank you! Cheers!
