It's not so much a right as a duty - to our ancestors who fought, suffered and died to build and defend our country. Anybody who thinks we're going to betray their memory by handing over our land and resources to outsiders cleary has no understanding of Russia or its people.
The right to defend their culture, values, wealth, and, most importantly, the right to be RUSSIANS. THE SAME FOR EVERY OTHER NATIONS.

I am one of those Americans who turned against Israel in this affair. I am also former Marine Corps. infantry. Before the Israel-Hamas War, my understanding of the conflict there was pretty lackluster. I'm sure many others felt the same. Thank God that Julian Assange has finally been freed. This is a crime that he was held this long. I believe that he is due extensive damages by the British government that he was held illegally for so long and for the cruelty of his treatment. The Australian government and the UN are all implicated in these crimes for their lack of help on his behalf. I have to think that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine has contributed as it has become an embarrassment to be holding a journalist in prison in such brutal conditions while trying to paint Putin as some kind of evil criminal.

German here. German views are pretty irrelevant; they're essentially the same as CNN. Most Germans uncritically adopt the view dictated by German media, which is solidly and obediently pro-US.
