What is the reality of America? I don't understand. Even in India, there are many slums worse than "the tents" and yet no one "shows the reality of India". These tents are nothing compared to whats happening in India, LA Downtown is just a small part of Los Angeles. Come and visit the true LA and then you will see what LA is about.

Like I said before, no cities are perfect just like India isn't. India has plenty of dirty slums where it is more unhygienic than these "tent cities". You see our country is best, you get all seasons and people, you can gossip with ppl even to strangers in India. Yes we should travell world so we can respect what God has given to us. Ever been to rural India, mainly in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, WB, etc. USA is way ahead in terms of living standards and social security.
They still do and not unjustifiably. Indians who come here - even those who would have a close to zero chance of success in India for whatever reason (lower caste, no political connections, etc) get a fair shot here. I am here for 45 plus years and have seen hundreds upon hundreds of success stories with Indian immigrants from all caste and creed - even those who came here illegally. I can tell you for sure, in these homeless camps, you will not find ONE Indian family.
Western countries have done so much marketing so eastern countries feel everything is good there. But the truth is different.
