Aw, those sweeping arpeggios are excellent. They sound good on virtually every stringed instrument known to man; piano, guitar, and most certainly harp.
I noticed them, but in my mind I associated them to Glowing Juggling Balls, since I play with (though not glowing) them, but I also noticed the dressing :D
Not one person can EVER decry Uematsu as unclassical. This interpretation is so beautiful and sticks to fingers up to the pretentious classical establishment. Thank you Amy Turk.
Lovely. Ms. Turk's artistry has been a great solace for me in the six months since my beloved wife of 49 years was taken from me. I immerse myself in "Watching the Wheat" multiple times a day and never fail to shed tears of loneliness and despair with a nearly equal joy at such ethereal luminescence. (As I recall, Bach's Prelude No. 1 in C was my introduction to Amy.)
I found this channel an hour ago looking for obscure Bach renditions. I loved it and until I found this. I now have a new favorite channel. Bach, Tchaikovsky, Final Fantasy, Zelda. This is the channel I've been waiting for. Bravo Amy, your brilliance has earned you a fan and a sub. You're amazing...
I found Amy on Spotify and found this on TH-cam! In my head I imagined it looking different when played. I thought she was hitting every string, but nope I was wrong 😅
I listen to many covers of OSTs .. Some Great pianists, some awesome guitarists and also remixes or orchestrated versions. However, only your harp covers are the ones that truly soothe and comfort this broken soul, (luckily you've covered my 2 favourite games too) Thank you
I grew up with FF; FFVI was my game. The harp arpeggios ... honestly it's hard to describe the feeling they give me, but it's instantaneous and sublime. Five million hearts, Amy Turk. Thank you.
I watch ONE video of someone playing a FF7 song on a harp and then youtube is like "HEY, there's a LOT of videos of exactly that, which you never knew about, here you go!". Been watching these for days now. Normally I hate the heavy handed suggestion-bot but this is one time I found it useful.
The first time I heard this played at a concert on the harp, an opportunity I had during one of the Florida visits of the More New Friends serious a few years back, I couldn't hold back tears. There's something really special about this particular arpeggio that just draws out the perfect balance of nostalgia and contextual emotion that makes it timeless.
not only is the music wonderfuly the cosplay with it was very appreciated from a gamers point a view truely making feel like the game is coming to life
I love this because it's one of my favorite games and has great music, my son with mild autism loves this because he likes how it sounds, it also calms him down when he has his meltdowns
Wow, part of me wants to feel silly for being moved by a video game theme - but this brings back memories of discovering this game when it came out in 9th grade and calling in sick to school for days in a row, just so I could play that game non-stop. That was/is easily my favorite NES game and all of the music for that game was fantastic. Really every NES game had incredible music.
Its been a long time since a music piece has brought tears to my eyes but something about the melody just brings back fond memories of my grandfather that passed away last year. Although its sad, its good to still have those memories.
I’m dismayed that 29 people have so little joy in their lives they would give this a thumbs down. I hope somewhere in this lifetime they will find it and share it with others as Amy has shared her joy of playing both music and videos games with us. 🎶
Greatest video franchise ever. FF7 is my all time favorite. The story line, the characters, antagonist, protagonist etc. It's as close to perfect this side of heaven.
Ah, damnit. You got me. I was just about to click back when I heard that second melody come in. It doesn't play in the original, but I always wanted it to. So thank you.
Thank You, Mr. NOBUO UEMATSU
Aw, those sweeping arpeggios are excellent. They sound good on virtually every stringed instrument known to man; piano, guitar, and most certainly harp.
I believe the term "arpeggio" itself comes from Latin meaning to play on a harp. Don't quote me on that though; I'm too lazy to fact-check it myself
What about on drums?
@@nickbullinger141 Close, it's italian. "Arpeggiare." Never knew that, interesting
@@ololreyalple if you have enough to tune to this, im sure it would sound interesting
Love the Aerith style...mad respect!!

Beautiful playing, but it seems no one has noticed the Materia on display? A nice touch :).
Also, they're dressed like Aerith.
Kryztan Santos Identified who didn't play FF7 at launch.
Also playing in a Church like where Aerith/Aeris lived :) Topped off with a few flowers for a nice touch.
I noticed them, but in my mind I associated them to Glowing Juggling Balls, since I play with (though not glowing) them, but I also noticed the dressing :D
Its not materia...its the dragonballs, they gathered them and wished aerith back to life
オーケストライベントの時こんなの来てくれたら人目も憚らずワンワン泣く
Not one person can EVER decry Uematsu as unclassical. This interpretation is so beautiful and sticks to fingers up to the pretentious classical establishment.
Thank you Amy Turk.
You two play SO well together! 🙂
RogerC thanks! I'll tell myself you said that. ;)
They are the same person

とても素晴らしい演奏でした。Fantastic!
If heaven exists I bet this anthem plays all day on repeat
They’re both geniuses
This song always makes me emotional. It reminds of my childhood, but it also makes me look forward to the journey ahead of me.
Wise words

Robert H Stiver chill out bro
Awwww. So sorry for your loss- now I have to run to a mirror and wash this stuff out of my eyes...
Esta es la mejor versión interpretada de manera maestra!
Very beautiful, I felt almost like crying. The part where it changes to Ab, that's the part where I feel like it's touching all my emotions.
so great ! If I was dying in a gutter somewhere , I would want these 2 angels to send me off with this song
What an odd thought, but sure yes.
Let us hope you never suffer such a fate!
This is one of the, MOST beautiful songs written. 🎵❤️🥰
Got goosebumps when the second harp started playing. Amazing! :)
Edit: I'm not crying. You're crying.
This is one of the most magical pieces of music ever written, that was amazing

Final fantasy and its music gave an amazing memories.
This is amazing. The harps, the materia, the Aeris outfits and being in the church, oh my god! So touching.... :'(
Fantastic, can't wait to hear more!

This is the best version of prelude
心が洗われるようだ・・・
音の一つ一つがとても綺麗な響きですね・・・✨ つい聴き入ってしまいました
I always felt the Final Fantasy VI version's slower tempo gave it a more impactful feeling. Slowing this down to 0.8x speed did not disappoint.
I cried
Such a beautiful instrument.
It looks like so much work, but yes yes please make more! Final Fantasy is too beautiful for you not to do more.💙
Absolutely beautiful! Not just the sound of the harp but, your playing of the harp is amazing. Incredible musician. I could listen to this all day.
I grew up with FF; FFVI was my game. The harp arpeggios ... honestly it's hard to describe the feeling they give me, but it's instantaneous and sublime. Five million hearts, Amy Turk. Thank you.

This should be included in the remake.
Damn, it's pieces like this that really speak to the soul
AMAZING! I'm so happy you did the ff7 one with that awesome melody. That was always my favorite, I would let the title screen run for hours.
プレリュード本当にいい曲ですね!
Gorgeous videography (and playing as well of course)!
Beautiful. Just.. beautiful. Thank you for covering this!
So beautiful, reminds me of being young and “living” Final Fantasy 7 and 8 when I could of been out making real memories.
This is absolutely the most relaxing thing I've ever heard. I love it!

I love this so much
I swear prelude always gets me choked up and tears running. been that way since the first time I heard it playing FF2 (FFIV) on the snes
I love this because it's one of my favorite games and has great music, my son with mild autism loves this because he likes how it sounds, it also calms him down when he has his meltdowns
This is so good! The harp sounds so magical.
You know... Final Fantasy 7AND Zelda played by you is simply heaven .I think i'm born to hear your music*0*
I cannot stop listening to this...... It's just too mesmerizing!
I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying.
You were simply unprepared for Sephiroth and don't want to play another hour long fight at the end.
I love it every time Ben Turk did the recoding on here. The modern sound of your Lyon & Healy really comes through.
Benjamin Chan thank you very much :)
I don't know the first thing about playing music, but listening to this is mesmerizing.
