I've been using pods for more or less the same outcome, I still don't understand the importance of using custom post types, unless you have a lot of different categories to deal with. I need to look into it more. Great work as always Imran 🙂
You made this for me. That’s what I’m telling myself. I was thinking of using the card style with author basically with the same layout for custom post but now that image can really be anything…ahem like a profile pic snagged from a particular website.. Thanks!

Amazing tutorial! With the taxonomy filter, is it possible to show ie "spanish" and "indian" meals at the same time? or is it only always one category that can be shown?

Hello Imran. Thank you for teaching me so many things. I have a question which is maybe OT....I have different posts with different music tracks (soundcloud). i've tried to add a custom field ACF directly to the posts where i can embed the code of soundcloud but in the frontend i see only a typed link not the soundcloud bar...could you give me a hint? THX
Might need to add a HTML field instead of a Text field. Is it an code or does it sit within
@@websquadron Thank you!! Maybe i've solved it by myself. I've choosed a textfield, with a prefixed value url which i can change in the posts. Then added in Elementor Loop a soudcloud widget where i can add the track dinamically. :)

Are you able to further set the query based on one of the custom fields you set up? Your source is Food, but then under "Include By" an Elementor loop can be queried by Term and Author. It would be great to select ACF and then select a specific custom field. Thank you for all your hard work Imran, and your on-point youtube game!

How to make that loop item searchable when we search its name or title
Hi, I'm creating a tamplate for category page called Brands. In that page, I created a Loop grid that I want to show all the products of the brand. But how can I make that responsive to not affect other brand's pages? If I put the brand name on the term space it will pull the products of that brand, of course, but then I can't use the same tamplate for another brand because it's pulling the products from the first brand. Any ideas?
Looking into this. This newbee has not dived in to loop grid usage yet but starting to feel it out. Now, I noticed that in the Content/Layout/Choose a Template/ you have a dropdown for Posts and or Products. I don't see that available. So I am supposing that I will need to setup these options? Perhaps I am missing a step and need to do a tutorial on setting up this to use on Loop Grid. Thank you, Imran!
Okay. I answered my own question. I was putting the cart before the horse but I am now going to learn the basics of loop grid. Again, good stuff here.
I have added a new taxonomy (brands) to Products but elementor pro does not show that taxonomy when I try to pull it through loop grid. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance

I can't find the Taxonomy Filter you use. Is that part of a particular plugin you use for that? Or should it be part of Elementor/Elementor Pro?

Hi, How do I create a loop grid using taxonomy and ACF fields. I wan't to customise how my taxonomy looks and not my post type. Is this possible?
Yes. Add Post Terms or Text Editor. Then use Dynamic Tags to get the right ACF. Then style it.

hey @websquadron I've seen this in other videos as well, but when you are creating the loop item template - I'm not seeing the "save and back" feature. My page turns blank even tho it's saved a new template (going into the templates area I can see it). Is there a setting I need to have turned on for this to work? Thanks for sharing this loop builder. I like what you did with it :)
nevermind - I guess it's not available until after you save your template and you go back into edit the loop item.
where did you get the Taxonomy Filter... I don't see that in my Elementor Pro ?

My Loop is not showing the custom fields :(. It works in the archive page but not in the loop, what could I do?
How ave you built the loop?
If you have added any links to the main container for the template - then remove that and check again.
@@websquadron I fixed it hehe my problem is that I was building the Loop in a "normal page" and not in the "archive page" hehe so I finally fixed it! thanks for your answer anyway ☺

Imran I tried to make it myself now and there is an issue happening with products assigning with brands
I have created a new custom post type and called it brands. And I also added some brands
But on product edit page I can not associate the product with brands, since there is no brands field on product edit page, and I could not find the way to insert brands field in product page.
How do I make it?

I just had to create a taxonomy (called brands) an assign it with product type
but unfortunately this new taxonomy does not allow to upload an image to new brand category, which is quite important to show brand logo

Loop grid is absolute fuckery, it changes item directions randomly, sometimes i disappears etc. The worst is image aligment.
Elementor is truly becoming a chromium type spaghetti code.
Maybe you need some 1-2-1 Consultation to make sure you're hitting the right settings?
