Very nice video - love to watch trains on Bob Hope platform. Curved platform shelters make for a great composition. I am envious of the video quality - really gorgeous.
I notice that some of those tank cars seem to be connected by pipes. Do they serve to help the loading/unloading process or to help vent gas that builds up in the tanks or something?
hey dude did you here about the new metrolinks that r coming out at the end of thus year there black with the coaster green pin stripes and have basically the empire builder cars its actually a nice improvement for metrolink

Ahhh, Good old Southern Pacific... They had 78-82 car oil cans with DPU's after the 52nd car... UP puts all the power in the front...
Those SD70ACE's look savage pulling those oil cans. Great catch!

Nice catch, UP's, all with wings and flags; a lot more colorful than those raunchy SP SD40T-2 & SD45T-2 so familiar with the Oil Cans.
