In regards to Protestant Bibles with the Deuterocanon, it is an alright choice. My biggest problem with it is just that they market it as an "Anglican Bible" when it actually breaks from the Anglican conventions.

Actually, the NLT has the Roman Deuterocanonicals.

@@BishopRobLyons yeah there are several I've discovered have Catholic editions. While I agree with some of the stuff I said in this video my perspective has changed in recent times due to a change in churchmanship to the Catholic Church.

Why not use a RSV CE or the DRA? Those are great translations, even for Anglicans. They also make KJV's with the Apocrypha by Thomas Nelson and New Cambridge.

This was just a critique of the Anglican House ESV from Anglican criteria.
Currently my top modern translations with the deuterocanon would be the RSV2CE and the Orthodox Study Bible
As for the Thomas Nelson KJVs there's a handful of typos in the "Apocrypha" the TH-cam channel R Grant Jones has documented them.
The KJV I use is the oxford 400th anniversary 1611 edition.
For many people the Hendrickson hardcover or leatherette 1611 KJV is a good option.

@@Broken_ChainsM Ah I see, fair enough. Yea you really can't go wrong with the RSV-CE. Another underrated translation is the Knox Bible (Not the remake from Baronius Press). I'm Catholic currently but I was interested in Anglicanism for a while because they offer both the Body and Blood of Christ via Intinction. However, they don't use the proper words for consecration.

@@TruLuan Yeah the Knox Bible is good. As for the converting part I would encourage you to remain Catholic. If you like Anglican patrimony you could look into the Ordinariate. It's a provision within the Latin rite and they even administer the Eucharist by intiintinction at many of the Ordinariate parishes. It's important to keep in mind that the full grace of the sacrament is received in each element so even if you are only partaking of the host, you received Christ in fullness.

@@Broken_ChainsM I can't entirely agree with this. You should look into Sean Lukes videos. Both Hosts need to be received. I am now High-Church Anglo-Catholic. I left the RCC recently for many reasons.

For my study, I particularly like the *Oxford World's Classics The Bible: Authorized King James Version with Apocrypha* ~ ISBN 0192835254 ~ Pub. 1998
It's a fat (1842 pp) paperback, so I tore it apart and put it in small binders. It's nice to have all the lectionary readings in one place. Very readable.
