I love how clean and respectful people in japan are towards property. bikes not chained up, but just sitting outside a restaurant. no trash or grafitti on buildings or sidewalks.
Thank you for this walk video in Hiratsuka. Hiratsuka is the Sister City of my home here in Lawrence Kansas USA. I have visited Hiratsuka twice. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻

Holding that camera for an hour 50 is some serious muscle strength. Holding just my own camera for that long non stop gave me arm pain the next day lol. I learnt to take more breaks. I really enjoy these. As a kid I used to travel asia a lot with my mum and while Ive never been to japan, theres a lot of similarities. It bring me back to a simpler time, where you traveled the world without any fear of conflict between countries. At least not to the extent of this day. The length of these is wonderful. Some people cut the video or take short walks resulting in 15min videos, those are a bit boring to me. Also theres no music at all in your videos, this actually makes this wonderful as asmr background noise. Keep up the good work, definitely subbing.
Deine Videos sind echt super, wie immer! Falls es die Natur zulässt, gerne wieder Videos nachts im starken Regen machen, das ist sehr entspannend zu schauen 😊
Thanks, such a nice surprise after busy Tuesday - a summer night walk with a few raindrops at the start, beautiful shrine area /no cats there😿, but ducks enough🦆⛩🦆😅/!! Walking down the long silent streets and sounds of ocean waves in the dark feel so relaxing and calming 💦🤗... Nice custard taiyaki 😋 !
I love this video already and I’m only at the beginning, it’s so relaxing exploring the streets with you 🙂👍🏻 thank you for doing that, wish you always safe travels Rambalac 🍀🙂
Whenever Ram goes to dark isolated places, I always wait for a yuurei to show up lol One day, hopefully it will. I will keep watching these videos with a sharp eye and hope.
I would love to go to Japan. Notice in this clip, no litter, no graffiti, no street crime or beggars/drunks or the usual sprinkling of heroin enthusiasts.. What a stark contrast to UK streets.
I would love to join you on one of your walks it would be awesome and amazing love your videos i watch on a daily basis just to get away from my mundane work everyday is a journey to me.
Hola un saludo me encanta tanto ese pais por que vivo en uno de mucha ignorancia y odio llamando México mi sueño es vivir en un pais como el suyo asi de hermoso pero se que es imposible😢 asi que miro tus videos con los ojos tan maravillados
Beautiful scenery! I'm also doing the same type of videos here in Norway. It's a pleasure to do the walks/hikes and think about how it looks on the camera and try to focus so the result will be as close as possible to what you see with your eyes. So majestic :)
58:25 Hard to believe they still got phone booths there (unless that green device is more than just a phone). Most of our phone booths in New York City were gone by 2010. I have seen maybe a half-dozen since 2020.
I also noted the many girls/women walking alone at night, walking casually not terrified or jumpy about being attacked etc. the Japanese people have more sense than to put up with all that crap. I’ve just read on Wikipedia ‘crime in Japan’ page that the bulk of street crime occurs around (and caused by !) US army personnel and their bases. What a surprise.
yeah those days are over in USA - I live in a rural area and have a great walking spot at my disposal but my town is in the top 3 counties for violent crime
I kinda wish tons of people had got in that elevator - I have visions of Ramabalac squished in the corner lmao You should definitely do Soft Drink reviews from those vending machines - I'm curious whether a Georgia Ice Cocoa drink is any good!
Great video, is there a covid situation or lockdown there? The reason I ask is there is hardly any traffic on the roads. I've seen Japan is still getting the covid, I pray for you guys that it gets better. I have much respect for anything Japanese. Thanks for this video.
Filmed in August. And I initially wondered why on earth everyone, including Rambalac are wearing summer attire, supposedly in January. Its also a little bit scary, how in a town so close to the sea in Kamakura (right?) in August kinda looks "dead" and almost no people around, many shops look closed down. You should think a area like that is buzzing with tourists in the mids of summer. Then again, I don't know at which time of the evening you recorded this walk.
You are right that it looks dead. Ever since the big Nissan factory in Hiratsuka closed down the city has been depopulating and losing its vibrancy. This is common in regional cities in Japan, and indeed in many other countries as well. It is sad to walk the lonely streets while seeing remnants of their glory days. Hiratsuka is not a tourist town, however, and Kamakura is very quiet at night. My wife is from Hiratsuka and we go there several times a year.
How long can the battery of the Sony FX3 last? Seems to be about 2 hours, is that right? Also, how big of a CFcard do you need to fit those 2 hours of video recording, what's the average file size? Those recommended Sony Tough CFexpress cards are quite pricey!
00:05 I am really curious how do you create that zooming effect with the camera at the start of the video. I saw this technic in many videos, vlogs, documentaries, but never understood how it can be done.
its a dolly zoom. you walk forward while zooming out so that the background stays the same. or something like that. im sure theres plenty of videos explaining how to do it
there are a lot of people out walking by themselves lol. plus, rambalac has a huuuge camera, which provides the "professional doing professional things" blanket of security. doubt anyone would call the cops on rambalac for this
FInally, we get to see Rambalac . master of picture 😁

Aaaah the walk in the dark on the beach with the distant lights and sound of the sea 😍 I didn't want to leave. Calm and a little mysterious.

We’ll actually, some trains around Tokyo have cars reserved for women only, because being groped or worse by men on the train is a big problem.

in the beginning it looks like you do a jump to warp speed and the lorenz effect is shrinking space making it appear to zoom away

I noticed this too. Looked like something spooked him.
Outside of that big shrine what are all the names on the lights meant to represent?
sponsors?
