In our opinion, this was the best of the four Icelandic vlogs you guys created! 👍 Let me tell you why... 1. The final shot at the Dynjandi waterfalls... as you two embrace and then pan away... PERFECT! 2. The Gardar BA 64 shipwreck and the "Black" church were unique stops. 3. Braving the elements and hiking to see the arch on the Gatkettur coastline. 💪 This video just had a more unique feel with a less touristy moments... we realize many of the venues you visited prior had been turned into tourist destination stops... 😥 ANOTHER ENTERTAINING TUESDAY!
It was one of our favorites as well!! We loved how it was more remote and less developed. Dynjandi is absolutely incredible and gets better as you hike towards it. Thanks for watching Lee!
I went there this March, when there were still lots of snow and even storm. I've been traveled to many places all over the world, but westfjords had the most magnificent scenery that I've ever seen in my life. Actually photos and videos can't tell you it's beautiful view 1 out of 10.
@@MathersOnTheMap haha watch some vlogs and you will see lol kidding aside it was freaking fabulous. Every day was unique and unbelievable. Definitely exceeded our expectations. We didnt like crete all that much. It may have been our experience but crete is really a large island. Hard to drive around. The smaller islands are really great and whatever people say about Santorini, don’t listen. It was awesome and so memorable. Just don’t go during the busy season. That is what probably ruins it. We are excited for iceland. As long as this eruption they are expecting is not to intense.
Great videos! I was in Iceland last year (2023) planning on the Westfjords next year. Can you tell me the month and date(s) you were there? Thank you! Sorry, just watched the rest of this video and you mentioned May, do you mind telling me the dates please? I’m looking at May, as well. Would be nice to see Puffins though. Thanks again
Thanks very much for your inspirational video/vlog. My wife and I are going to The Westfjords mid June '23 in hopefully better weather and bringing - like you - my new DJI, - the Mini 3 Pro, which is enough for me. Your's may be a Mavic 3? Hope it's not too windy or wet. Our first visit to magnificient Iceland was the round trip. That was amazing. And fantastic views around every corner of the road. Hi from Jette & Poul, Copenhagen, Denmark (ex owner of Iceland ;-) )
We hit the Westfjords next Tues. Where was the infinity pool hotsprings or do you know what it was called? Your videos have us stoked for Island. Thanks for sharing. We seem to share opinions on what to do from location to tourist areas. Cheers
Thanks for watching!!! II don’t want to give the name out since it’s not too too popular and it was only locals when we went, hope you understand. But it’s on the way to Dyandifoss and not too hard to find. It’s before the fork 🫡 😉 Besides finding on your own is part of the fun
@@MathersOnTheMap actually, much respect for not sharing. I lament the constants shares of beautiful secret spots for that reason. Even though I asked. Lol
Can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head, but if you google westfjords hot springs you should find it! We also have our itinerary’s and gps locations on our patreon for exact locations you can integrate to your phone.
So you may get a kick out of this. For Father’s Day, my daughter created in school what my dad likes etc…. In her Father’s Day write up she said dad likes to watch MOTM. Teacher didn’t know what that meant so she played it for her class on TH-cam. Lol.
Ok I’m seeing now you did come here and you didn’t get the puffin experience!! :( I’m so sorry. :( that’s so upsetting and that drive sucks for no puffins! 🤬
Congratulations the 2 of you have been great ambassadors for the country of Iceland 🇮🇸.
Nice drone footage.
Always a thumbs up 👍
Thanks Jackie!!!
Thank you !!!
I've been to Ísafjörður. Yes, beautiful and the small towns are wonderful.
Completely agree!

Thank you! We have yet to visit Greece, it's on our list though! Did you enjoy it?
