I loved when Cole said to Anne "You know Gilbert has a crush on u, right?" 🤭😂
I genuinely love how they write Rachel. She has to keep relearning things, which is interesting to see. It's like just because she changes her mind about one thing doesn't instantly make her supportive of every new idea. I think the repetition is actually really important for her character development.
I do like to think that Rachel changed her mind because of what Marilla said. That it was more respect for her friend than any sudden shift in ideas.
I think with Rachel, it wasn't just the light bulbs, even if she was impressed. She listened to what the others had to say, and you could see it on her face when Marilla had her say about change. She can see the change in her best friend since Anne came into her life. Now she's realizing that she was wrong about Ms Stacy like she was with Anne.
I wanted Billy to have a redemption arc too, BEFORE season 3 ☠️ But I get you sm for expecting one
Demanding more Ruby and Jerry content is such a mood! Even characters with relatively little screen time are so lovable in this show, and yeah just seeing all the found families and friendships develop is so satisfying and heartwarming ❤

I don't want to spoil anything for you so this is only a minor warning, but Billy not killing the fox was unfortunately not a redemption arc and he gets MUCH worse in season 3 :( there is a lot more jerry though!!! AND the miscommunication trope is DEFINITELY present in season three, it actually drove me insane but if you like miscommunication you'll LOVE season 3
