The comment on humility seems like a faux pas.

The phrase you seem like presents a level of doubt. She is being humble! Therefore in the moment she is humble.

How do you find your personal style?

As a retired optician I have to be completely honest in my opinion of Jenna Lyon's glasses. I would never ever fit any woman with glasses so big and heavy looking and especially not someone as attractive as Jenna is. They are nearly covering her entire face. I can only see her glasses and not Jenna at all hiding somewhere behind them. Also notice that her eyebrows are also completely covered by her glasses. Why? Women spend a lot of time getting their eyebrows to look perfect and then you're going to hide them under your glasses. Glasses with a frame that's black, big and bold gives the appearance of someone with really poor eyesight rather than someone with a much more moderate need for her glasses. Someone that attractive needs to be wearing glasses with the thinnest type of frame possible. Maybe a nice semi-rimless frame with a nice touch of gold accents would be a much better option for her.

      What an interesting analysis, Jim!

@@ReallyFamous You only described my comment as "interesting" but you didn't say if you agree or disagree. I just know that a woman can look even more amazing wearing glasses as long as they enhance her attractiveness and don't take away from it. Over the years I fitted hundreds of very attractive women with glasses and my goal was to make sure they looked even more attractive wearing glasses. I'm sorry, but her glasses are why women tend to not to want to wear glasses.

@@soundmanpt I totally hear what your saying, Jim. I’m not sure I know which glasses look best of which faces (I’m no style pro) but I think many women look amazing in glasses. I also think they have to feel great in them to look great. Full disclosure - I have yet to find a pair of glasses that I feel complement my face. That said, I do love a stylish pair of sunglasses 😎

@@ReallyFamous I highly suggest when choosing your next glasses you take a friend that you know has an eye for style. Over the years I have found that very rarely are men of any help in helping you choose your glasses. I really doubt you would ever have them help you choose a top or a skirt or your shoes for you so why would you want him helping choose your glasses? Do allow the help from an optician or optical assistant to provide you some advice. But in the end the decision needs to be made by you. I have a feeling that many women probably think you look amazing in your glasses as well. You only need to worry when you get new glasses and you don't get complemented on them and how nice they look on you. That's the real test. Always remember that change can often take a bit of getting used to a new look and that certainly includes getting new glasses. Do you mind me asking, how often do you wear glasses? If you only wear glasses part time or when you're not wearing contacts try wearing your glasses more often and see if you don't start liking your glasses more. Have a great weekend.
