@@moragev2606 I assume you're referring to the high note in MLILAS, which is C6. That is usually comfortable for a soprano. C#6, on the other hand, is a bit hard to hit in head voice for someone like Demi who has not received proper classical training and, yet, she's singing it in MIXED VOICE today.

Ummm..I hate to break it to yall but the only part belted was the F5, the rest is transitioned between head voice/falsetto, anyone who can belt a F5 for a few seconds ( without resonance might I add ) can do this note, it isn’t scaring anyone 😂

It's a heady placement and doesn't sound pushed, also since it's in the background it's hard to notice it's a C#6 until you check the note

@@mcgradyazul5667 the only thing she got apparent pitchiness with the belted notes was the CFTS first G5 note and Skyscraper sustained D5 note because she's probably tired for hitting countless high notes especially Bb5s and a B5. Her mid notes got also pitchy but I think it's because she's trying to get to use to a slightly lighter mix and other factors contribute were overexcitement/hype, the composition of rock and her constant moving such as jumping.

I dont think she can do it live either, she needs to hit the F#5>G#5>Bb5>C#6 in one breath is impossible, in july 4th she lowered semi-key but still can only hit F5>G5>A5(flat), it will be the Fall in line Bb5 that she will try one day but flat or barely hit it.

as much as i love demi and dont doubt her at all, this was definitely pitched up and i DONT think a C#6 is within her valid mix voiced range. so we probably will never hear this live

Demis vocal ability is actually insane throughout revamped, my big issue is the amount of excessive vocal tuning which is so unnecessary.. I have the sessions if confident and heart attack RV and the raw vocals are really good and don’t need as much tuning as the producer applied, also she hit a C6 in the studio so technically her highest belt is C6 right?

It's not edited, she really hit it because during her Concert on July 4th she clearly had ease on Bb5s and especially B5 which led us to think that C6 or even D6 is not impossible with that ease
