I love Bridlington, I moved here for work in a school in 1998 and would never live anywhere else. It’s got a fantastic coastline, dolphins and seals, a beautiful seafront well maintained and clean, friendly Northern people and a lovely holiday buzz in the summer.

Been a subscriber for a few years now, its great to see you in my home town Bridlington and i love it. plenty of people love it 1000s of visitors every year. i did laugh when you said you hope the car is gone 😂
Audrey’s Fish and Chips everytime! There is a nice coastal walk north out of the town to Sewerby Hall, well worth a visit plus you can fossil hunt on the beach AND visit the model village if you have the time. Underrated place Bridlington. Oh and don’t forget a visit to Filey, best beach in the country for kids.
Always loved Brid'. My late Wife and I spent the first few days of our marriage in the building that is now Salt's. Back then there was a hotel there with lovely harbour view roome. I miss her so much, but thanks for bringing the memories back Lee.
Lee gutted you came to Bridlington and I didnt see you, I love your videos and would of met up with you for a coffee and fish and chips and given you a good tour of the town. I am born and bred in Brid. Keep up the good work my friend
Nice video Lee my friend ❤ spend many happy times with the kids here for a British holiday.. ( not been for a bit though as kids are grown up ) but we loved it especially when the weather was good ❤

It's great to see you in my hometown 😊 drove past you near Seaview fish and chips doing my deliveries but wasn't sure it was you, been here 16 years with family and love it wouldn't go back to Batley.
East Coast person here, even though I was born in the West Riding. i’ve never thought much to Bridlington because it lacks the scenic quality of Scarborough and Whitby my two favourite places. A nice friendly video, any road, sithee. Donny Lass.
I live in Bridlington and work in Scarborough and not sure where you got some of your information from but brid is a lot safer/better than Scarborough. It has better beaches, friendlier people and since moving here 6 years ago from down south I have seen so much improvements.
I'm from leeds and have been both Brid and scarborough, and for me brid wasn't a very nice place to visit scarborough beach was better by far, but both were a bit rundown.
I love the chips at the family run business Audrey’s with the seats outside we always go there when in Bridlington. I live 7 miles from Scarborough in Snainton we moved from Leeds 2 years ago because I wanted to be nearer the sea, Whitby was where I wanted to be really but the houses were expensive. I love Whitby and Sandsend so much they are my favourite places. You should do a Whitby video.
Have to say lee another great video it's really lovely to see the town and people you meet your vids always have a feel good factor , I've just come bk from Conway what lovely people and loads to do ⛱️⛱️🛣️🛣️
I was there for the first time in about 20 years a few weeks ago and even sat outside at the same chippy. I was pleasantly surprised how clean it was and how nice it was to spend the day there . I came by train and even the train station was full of flowers and just beautiful.
I'll tell you Lee, with the seaside views, the seagulls perched, flying and chirping, even with the Fish and Chips, you're making me think about Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and Tippi Hendren.
I absolutely love Bridlington my aunty and uncle used to own the rhyburn hotel when it was a guest house, so we used to spend loads of time there. They still live in Bridlington but they have both retired now
Back In the day we always had a ride on the yorkshire belle and I had a day fishing on the Rachel k, not been for a fair few years but I wouldn't mind popping over sometime for the day.
Hi Lee , we try to get to Bridlington every year for 1 or 2 nights , go out on the pirate ship , sometimes nip up to Scarborough for a couple of hours , just watching walk on the wild side Live at the mo , fireworks display 👍🏼👍🏼
It’s been a few years since I was last in Bridlington, 2001 in fact. I liked the place very quaint and quiet compared to its bigger neighbour Scarborough. Not just Higgitt’s for a £1 burger don’t forget The Grill & Grind on Regent Rd in Great Yarmouth, a burger or a hot dog for £1. Fish & chips looked pretty good but I’m not so sure about sweetcorn in curry sauce.
Not been to Brid for years, I've just tried the fish and chips in Scarborough at the Lifeboat fish bar. They were really good, cooked with beef dripping too.
Nowt wrong with Brid. As I've mentioned before, I'm from Hull (currently in Rotterdam), but it's less than an hour away from my UK home, and we always head there for fish and chips. That said... Sullivan's in Hornsea. That's a mere bike ride from 'ull. You'll thank me.
Love Bridlington lots of people forget the crabs and lobster that people eat in Europe come from Brid. Will be back end of the month :) great video Lee
If you've come to Brid in September its not going to be as busy. Alot of the Wessies have gone back home as the kids are back at school but you get alot more couples in their 50s and 60s come to visit in the late summer/autumn.
Thanks lee I always enjoy your videos you mentioned the weather the last week's of winter in Sydney was really hot its crazy weather Thanks mate Shane in Sydney 🦘 🇦🇺
just who are the people who voted Bridlington the "worst seaside town?" guess its by idiots who have never even been here, we get millions of visitors every year so they must like it, so just ignore the idiots who write crap.
Thanks Lee, i enjoyed your tour around Bridlington, the Harbour i do like, the tides in the UK are so extreme compared to Oz.. The Fish N chips looked so nice i ll give it 9/10 today 👍 Au
Had many great Holidays in Bridlington and Scarborough in the mid 60's and 70's with my parents. So many great memories of the rides and the beaches. It was just such a drag driving down from Scotland for my parents though ,, are we there yet , are we there yet ,, I need a pee again,, I'm hungry. LoL. ❤❤❤❤
Lee we rediscovered Bridlington around 3 years ago and go around 4 times a year. In fact just got back today The town is run down like many seaside towns. However the people are so friendly and the beach up at the south side is stunning Been in many chippies….. Audrey’s was awful in my opinion, shocking portion sizes and average at best. Busy Bees okay but not cooked in dripping. The one you showed at 17.50 (Ship to Shore) is decent and great value There’s also one called North Bay on the Harbour next to that hotdog place and near the speedboat hut that’s very good
Oh and forgot to mention Old Bridlington, just up from the touristy bit, very quaint. They used Old Bridlington for location filming the Dads Army movie there a few years ago.
Bridlington looked fine and a pleasant little surprise. Lee, have you thought of going to York and doing a review in the old town and the 'Shambles'? We were stationed there in 1968 when my dad was in the army in Strensall just north of the city. A lovely vlog, Lee. Thankyou, 😊.
You have some amazing looking beaches, pity the skies are so gray, love to see it sunny! I do love fish and chips, sadly NO one sells English style fish and chips. What we get here would make you gag Lee, always overcooked, thin tasteless batter, if any. They look at me as if I'm crazy when I ask for my fish rare. Now we can't be beat for steamed hard crabs, cold comfort because outrageously priced. Beef drippings? I take you mean the rendered beef fat? I simply must try that! It could be the secret to truly great English style fish and chips. Bridlington looked to be very charming, like most of your towns. My apologies, I'm old and always tend to run on. Thanks for another great video!
now if he started to do even more catering breakfast's the Mac will not only fit in his milkfloat but who will supply him with an electric bike that he can actuality ride
Some of the best fish and chips I've seen for a long while. Lovely looking restaurant, bright and fresh. Nice seating area outdoors too. Let's give Brid a chance.❤
I actually thought this place looked quaint. Interesting shops. Would love to do a uk trip around all the sea sides. So different from Australian beaches.
Good Evening Lee. I really Enjoyed your visit to Bridlington. What a Gorgeous and Stunning Seaside Resort to travel to and Discover some new Sights and Sounds. Very Friendly people and gave You a Warm Welcome Lee. Very Clean and Tidy streets i rather thought. Plenty of Fish and Chip Establishments to chose your Seafood Fare from. As a kid we had a caravan and often spent weekends in Clacton On Sea but regularly visited Jaywick for the Sunday market. This was the 1980's and Jaywick looked run down then. I would like to see how you would get on in Jaywick today. Whilst you're south of Watford try Margate too as it used to be thriving in the 80's
Great for kids - loads of arcades, attractions better than Scarborough for that. Lovely redeveloped promenade and beautiful white cliff rock beach walks if you like that. But certainly not better than Scarborough imo, which has much more to offer.
I was invited out on a fishing trip from Bridlington once, no time for a look around unfortunately. The fishing wasn't good, it was a rough as hell so most of the lads were being violently sick, nobody caught anything, but, at least I can say I've been to Bridlington.
That was 💫💯 vid. . The staff at chip shop ✅. No lemon tho?? And Bridlington looked ok. Went there yesterday for the 1st time. Positives were cooked to order and great service. However over 11 quid for fish n chips and they aren’t cooked in dripping. The oily taste stayed with me for a while afterwards. Chunky fish but this is going to sound daft…..tasted a bit too fishy!
