Glad to see you did not buy a KFC Transistor yet again to check the tape fit. I still think MMC handles the non bird tapes best, but the downside of them is that they are full cassette size in alt mode. I have to agree FT is the best so far for mini cassette size, but it will be interesting to see what Takara offers up if they ever get around to making these characters .
I think, from what I've seen, that KFC definitely up'd their game with the 2.0 versions and it's hard to beat FT paint jobs but for me I wasn't impressed with either offering. MMC (non bird) versions are superior but the are on a different scale. Considering the alt mode ans size these are tough characters to tackle but taking into account what Newage and Magic Square do at the Legends scale makes both sets an easy pass for me. Great comparison. Wish FT would've picked the right yellow for Steeljaw. I like the squattiness of KFC Ramhorn, but FT wins for me.
